Mortgage move helped me through every step with my mortgage. Very helpful and talked me through everything I asked. Would highly recommend.

The whole process was made completely stress free by a very dedicated mortgage advisor that worked around my shift pattern. She was clear, knowledgeable, insightful, and easy to talk to every step of the way. She would often phone outside of her work hours to update me with how things were moving on. Would highly recommend!

As a first time buyer, we were very cautious and overwhelmed with the buying process however, after a few chats it took only 2 weeks from the point I enquired about affordability to getting my mortgage application approved!

Samantha Lloyd went above and beyond for me and my partner ensuring an easy and stress free process. She would keep us updated every step of the way and advise us on different options that are perfectly suited.

Sam has a passion and it shows. From agreeing to meetings outside work hours and always keeping you the priority.

I could rant all day about my experience. I will end this review by saying, MortgageMove are very transparent, honest, straight to the point and understanding!

I had a phone call with Greig reguarding if me and my boyfriend were able to afford a house and if so how much we think we could borrow. Greig also helped to explain about stamp duty and payback percentages on a mortgage. As well as so many other things, he was so friendly and helpful and ill definately we contacting mortgagemove again once we have saved up more money towards a deposit.

I cannot recommend Mortgagemove enough! They have given me excellent advice on where I should start with my mortgage application, and walked me through the process of what will happen and what i need to do. I'm glad I had this call with Mortgagemove, I have left with complete understanding on where I need to start. I can't wait to be able to buy my first home!

Recently I contacted Mortgagemove. I spoke to Samantha (LL xxxx11 mob xxxx71). Then she called me at the time we agreed. She offered me a 5-year fixed mortgage deal with a very high interest rate. The interest rate was higher than any other mortgage advisor has offered me at the time (as I have been shopping around for a good deal). I explain to her very nicely and calmly that I am looking for a tracker mortgage not a 5-year fixed mortgage. Unfortunately she kept pushing that deal on me and when I kept refusing to take it, she hanged up the phone on me. Well, it wasn’t difficult if she just said that she can’t help me or if she just said that I don’t have the tracker mortgage you are looking for. Then we could have ended the conversation in a good way. But instead she decided to hang up on me as I was speaking to her.

I see that was unnecessary, unprofessional and actually rude, I was very polite talking to her in a professional and calm way. I just know what I want and I know a 5-year fixed mortgage with very high interest rate wouldn’t suit me, so I didn’t take that option.

It is a pity to see some people who don’t have the curtesy to end a conversation in an appropriate way. By the way she didn’t even bother apologising for hanging the phone on me.

I haven’t lost; I just went with another free mortgage advisor who has been much more professional than Mortgage Move. I wonder what would she feel if someone hangs up the phone on her as she is talking to them?

So I will not use Mortgagemove again and I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. There are a lot of FREE mortgage advisors out there who can offer mortgages with much better rates than this company. (Just google them). So beware.

An update on 22nd Jan 2023:
A few days ago, Trustpoint contacted me and said that Mortgagemove said that they don’t know you and they have NEVER dealt with. So Trustpoint, rightly, asked me to provide evidence that I really dealt with Mortgagemove. So, in response I sent Trustpoint 6 (six) pieces of evidence: copies of emails back and forth between me and Samantha, emails from Samantha’s colleague to me, and most importantly I sent Trustpoint a screenshot of my phone showing text messages back and forth between Samantha and myself, clearly showing her mobile phone number on the text messages.

Well, I am sure Mortgagemove could have dealt with this in a better way than just denying dealing with me…

I am your quintessential worrier! Having to re-mortgage just at the time when Truss and Kwarteng caused mayhem, I was in a mad panic that our application wouldn't be submitted before the deal we wanted was withdrawn. Oh me of little faith! I had actual phone calls from actual people in response to my stressy emails. Unheard of in this day and age! Even more so when the people who phoned me actually seemed to care. Needless to say, everything went smoothly. We have been locked in to a great deal, valid for 6 months with some additional money for a new kitchen and even advice on clearing our credit card debts. I absolutely cannot fault this company. Fantastic service, by an organisation who genuinely see you as a person not a number. If you are thinking about moving or re-mortgaging and need help navigating the options and mammoth application forms, look no further. I could not recommend Mortgage Move more highly. Thank you guys, we'll be back in 5 years!

As first time buyers, we had no idea what we were doing. Thankfully we had Greig from Mortgage Move to help us along the way. Greig is amazing at what he does and we knew we could trust him from the get go. He was honest, trustworthy and was always happy to help if we had any questions. If you're looking for a mortgage, I'd recommend Greig a million times over.

Working with Hannah was a really fast and smooth process, was talked through what I'm looking for, then she told me what documents I she needed from me and I uploaded them, less than a week later we were discussing various mortgage deals and a week after that I had my agreement in principal. No stress. She liased with my estate agent and solicitor which also really helped. When I got my actual mortgage offer we discussed that as well and that was all sent off really quickly. All in all Hannah made this a much less stressful process than I imagined it would be.
