Totally useless software.
The automatic Elliott wave is not updated automatically.
When I set the Auto Elliott Wave again, the wave motion is completely different.

Every time I open the platform, some setting that I made is not where I left it. Bar width changes, indicator lines turn themselves off, ticks from edge keeps turning itself on. The only save function is "Save Defaults", and it doesn't seem to want to save a thing. And this irritating habit is inconsistent from chart to chart. The Manual provides no clear solution.

I owe Motivewave a HUGE HUGE HUGE apology!

Our issue with them getting my email request were on my end. Microsoft Mail did not send ANY messages to ANYONE for over a month! Everything is siting in my outbound folder, not sent!

I will give 3 star rating: Good Footprint, good TPO, mediocre DOM, and bad heatmap!

***Update #2*** I'm thinking about just keeping it, and using it for TPO/Footprint (Volume Imprint), comparison chart, along with Quote-board, while using Jigsaw as my execution. For how I trade, that is the ultimate win-win.

Fantastic software and responsive support. MotiveWave offers a complete trading package. Charting, order flow, heat map, almost every type of technical analysis tool, scanners, automation (SDK provided), and so much more. It’s a phenomenal platform/tool. I highly recommend giving MotiveWave a trial run.

Scanner: it is very powerful and quickly. Easy to use it.
Interface: user friendly and beautiful.
Indicators : Lots of studies and adding new more studies (all free for Ultimate ver)
Connection: Most of forex brokers can be connected. Trading forex is happy.

The software is excellent. If you buy a software with a one time payment, you get one year of support. Afterwards you can use the software a lifetime. But if you buy a new computer, you feel, you are at the mercy of the company to get the license going. They sent me the link, yes, but it's a weird feeling. All I want, is the Elliott count. Not more, and that works fabulously with my "old" license. Hopefully they will repeat sending me the link to my licence.

Motive wave is simply the best. There are more features than what a trader needs to maximize profitable trading.

The feature I like most is MotiveWave scanner. Any trading strategy setup parameters can easily be inputted in the scanner, run command and get results. Available options of Elliott Wave pattern, Harmonics, different studied or even a combination of all these concepts can be scanned to generate excellent to fair potential trading Bias. Incredible!

If MotiveWave adds a chart template with three boxes i.e one box on the left and two boxes on the left, then I will be super happy as I prefer to have Daily chart on the left, 4H chart on top right and Hourly chart on lower right. I hope this can be considered.

I have never taken the time to write a review before, in my 59 years on this planet, but this software warrants it. It is not often in life you buy something that is worth every penny you have paid for it.
I have been using the Professional/Ultimate version of MotiveWave since October 2019. I chose the full licence after trying numerous other platforms over the previous 3 years. Nothing, in my opinion, comes close to MotiveWave, especially if you study or practise Elliot Wave theory in your trading practise.
As an old timer, it has been easy to set up the work spaces to suit my style of trading. Everything is effortless and seamless. If you don't like something you can easily change it, with just a few clicks of your mouse. I like the idea that there are numerous short cuts to change your charts, wherever your mouse pointer is sitting on your screen. You just drag and drop components onto the screen for your analysis. As a retired engineer I find it is amazing what thought and invention has gone into this product.
I use MotiveWave normally 5 days a week and when I make any major changes, I am able to make a full back up copy in seconds. The flexibility is endless as you make new work spaces to suit all the different strategies and studies that are available.
You can start the day by scanning for good set ups across all markets,(dependent on your broker) using default scanners or use study scans of your own choosing. Every type of trading can be accommodated on the platform: Stocks, Forex, Options, Futures although I can only speak about trading Forex with a live account through MotiveWave.
I have never had any problems at all with the platform, which proves how stable the software is. Therefore I have not had any dealings with support, so to be fair I can not comment on this area.
I particularly liked the very sensible idea of the maintenance plan, which you can choose to pick back up at any time, for a fee, to upgrade the platform at a reasonable price.
The latest version of the platform allows you to utilise order flow, volume profile, volume imprint which is not my cup of tea, trading Forex, but would be very useful for Stocks and Futures.
I am able to back test my new strategies on the platform and it also has an optimizer panel.
The MotiveWave platform seems to have everything other platforms have and just that bit more. The DOM panel is easy to trade off and there are multiple ways of making all sorts of orders either, off the chart, using the DOM or off trade tickets.
This platform has got me so interested in trading that I am attempting to write my own strategies now, using the MotiveWave Software Development Kit (SDK). I truly believe this software is the best kit out there at the moment and it is built with all ages in mind.
If you want to stay ahead in the Trading Game, get motivated with MotiveWave.

Motive Wave tools are second to none. I used to count each wave manually. Now I just used the Elliott Wave scan features and decompose it. Literally, can work of a charts in minutes vs. hours before hand.

MW is wonderful software. My focus is EW and Fib Zones along with general charting. It works very well with IB platform which saves money on data feeds and allows chart trading.

The EW features are exceptional and even better than DT 7 in some respects.

One simple but extremely useful change for using Fib Zones would be to remove the "bug " that defaults to a full set of fib lines when the last fib line is deleted.... extremely annoying and very very easy to fix. DT7 works properly for Fib Zones.

Just to add to my comment re the MW response... to work efficiently it needs to be deleted with one eraser click... also clicking and deleting doesn't work because one has to keep track of whether or not it is the last fib line otherwise click delete will delete all related fib lines prematurely

I think this is excellent software. I appreciate the ease of use and the wide range of studies. I use Motivewave primarily because it offers TPO studies and it integrates with IB's data feed. The TPO studies are excellent but I wish that "align letters" could occur without having to go 2 layers deep into the menu. I also wish that there would be the option to represent each TPO by only a letter rather than a letter within a box. I believe this would make it easier to read if the font is small.

I have been using Motivewave for 8 years. I came from another product that I thought was extensive in features. This was before I started using Motivewave. I have researched many different products and there is nothing else out there like Motivewave. The developers are easy to work with. The support staff is nice, knowledgeable, and responsive. The product is feature-rich and evolves with frequent updates. I couldn't ask for a better charting/analysis platform.

Overall a great charting platform. However, my main issues are:
1. Does not always update with my Futures current pricing on IB. Its ends up being the previous day's close price. This causes me to have to make adjustments which are becoming more frequent and are a pain to have to deal with.
2. You have no api for tastyworks.com.
3. It chews up a lot of RAM which slows down order entry/exits.
4. Would prefer lower annual support costs as I'm retired.

Outstanding.

Just wished optimization would work with limit/stop orders and multiple time frames
