Where do I start
Where do I start. The issues that I have experienced from buying a motorcycle here have pretty much all been turned on the head and made out to be my issues, they make you feel like you are the issue. They have moved premises now and this was the reason I kept being provided for the poor service and delays.
I initially deal with a salesman called ian who was INITIALLY very engaging and talked a good game. The motorbike I bought then went through their garage for the checks and I had already seen the MOT advisory at this point being a blowing exhaust which to be fair to them they did come back to me and said they were not happy with it and will replace it as the mechanic I very particular about things like that. I thought fair enough but then the lengthy delay where 5 days passed no update so I kept chasing and ian kept telling me they are in the middle of moving premises and they can’t fix anything. I then complained and lo and behold the part had arrived that day apparently?? So they said they will get the part time mechanic on it to fix it as he was originally helping with the move. I picked up the bike had to wait 2 1/2 hours and went to set off no fuel in it!
It was only afterwards the aftersales was shocking ian was so rude, dismissive and completely disinterested. I contacted them about the terrible smell of fuel in my garage I took it to a friends garage who said all the carb were leaking. When I rang up he said he will get it in but it was ok to ride. someone then came the next day to pick it up.
Exactly a week later no update from ian, rang and messaged him just kept saying no parts. Eventually I asked to speak with a manager who is still illusive to this day, instead I got dave! I still don’t know who the manager is probably so they don’t find out what goes on. They told me the parts were on back order and I won’t see my bike for some time. I looked on several websites for jap parts, all available next day. Very confusing!!!! My mechanic had ordered the bits I told dave they could use the set I had, they picked the bit up and next day complete. Told me
They were Chinese bits we only use original bits, well the original bits were available everywhere I looked and the kit I bought my friend has used for years and never had a single bike back with an issue. When I got the bike back is the starting point of the very bad side of kjm. The delivery guy put the bike on the drive (this is all on CCTV as explained to dave) he then saw me come out my house said there you go got in the van and drove off. I hadn’t even checked the bike over. I looked at the carbs which were still filthy, a spring hanging out of one of the heater plugs which had not been replaced and all the heater plugs brass fittings were the same ones Obviously they had the whole kit and had the carbs off apparently, so why wouldn’t they replace all the parts because that would mean putting old ones back on.
I rang ian, he was rude and unhelpful and just put me on hold mid sentence and said he wasn’t dealing and dave will.
I feel sorry for dave and you can tell he is a nice bloke but instead of owning issues he just make you feel like you the unreasonable one.
He said oh the driver isn’t a people person, the mechanic said he only needed to replace the parts that were leaking, the carbs were cleaned in the degreaser bath which annoyed me why lie, I got some brake cleaner and they were all clean and no stains which took 2 mins. This is basics. I said if they have not used what I provided I wanted the rest of the kit back. The fuel tank trim Was missing which must have already been like that until I showed them a picture the day before with it on. Dave was to find out and ring me back, he did ring back and it was just excuses. He was going to locate the trim and the parts and get them back to me. He hadn’t offered to pay for the kit of mine they used so I mentioned this and he said when the Yamaha kit came he will send me that to replace it.
The day after they returned the bike I thought I’ll give it a run out and while on the drive noticed a dint in the brand new aftermarket exhaust can on the right side with flakes of white paint, I looked at the other side and the rubber on the can strap was ripped. I checked my cctv and the guy wheeling it out the van bangs the can on van and the bike stops! No wonder he was in a rush to leave. I rang ian he dismissed me and said dave will contact me, nothing for a week again.
This is where I am at now, I got hold of dave who is going to ask the driver lol! What difference that will make I have no idea. If they told me they degreased carbs they were filthy and the tank trim was not on the bike I’m sure they will say the brand new exhausts fitted the previous day were already dinted with white paint on! If I don’t get any joy I will make a civil claim. I hope the mystery manager reads this.
Still not had the replacement kit and they lost my fuel tank trim so I purchased a new one which they didn’t offer to pay for.

I ordered a part for my motorbike handlebars, item arrived and it turnt out to be for a completely different motorbike! now I have to pay for shipping because of their screw up! such a trashy business, first time buyer and last time buyer.
Advertising merchandise they clearly don't have!
I purchased an item from Motogb on the 5th January 26. One month on still no delivery so I contacted them twice but no response. Only for PayPal I don't believe I'd of ever received my refund request. There's zero customer service. Don't waste your time and shop elsewhere.
Rogues
Rogues. They do not honour the warranty.. steer clear from these cowboys. Will be in the process of taking legal action

Breach of Contract – No Delivery
I paid £38.83 to KD Motorcycles (Padiham) on 3 October 2025 for a Benelli BN125 side stand, after being told it was in stock and would arrive within 1–2 days.
Despite repeated assurances and follow-up calls, the part was never supplied and no promised call-backs were made. Even after MotoGB Ltd (their parent company) admitted a “stocking error” and confirmed the part had been picked, no delivery occurred.
This is a clear breach of contract under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and a failure of reasonable care under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
I am now considering pursuing the matter through Trading Standards and the Small Claims Court. Proceed with caution.
Received a refund today, 21st October 2025
Of course, I’m still out of pocket in terms of travelling to and from KD Motorcycles and the time wasted constructing emails and telephoning the company.
What a complete joke of a company !!
What a complete joke of a company !!! Unbelievable !!!

Never buy from this shambles of a buisness, ordered items, that I never received, emailed asking where they are took a week to back to me they said they would chase it up, never got back to me again! Then just refunded the money. Worst motorcycle shop I have ever dealt with bar none!

The level of after service from Chorley Motorcycles a have received has more than met my expectations, the mechanic has fully investigated a vibration concern I had at first service and kept me fully updated.
Customer service from management rude
I am writing to express my deep disappointment following a recent interaction with a member of your team, Jim Ridyard, regarding my partner’s scooter, which has only done 200 miles and is still under warranty.
Unfortunately, the conversation was extremely upsetting. I found Jim to be unreasonably rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to listen or offer any constructive resolution. His manner was condescending and made me feel belittled and incapable, which is unacceptable from anyone especially someone in a customer service role.
I am not stupid and I did not deserve to be spoken to in such a demeaning way. Rather than help, Jim came across as a bully, and at no point did he show any intention of resolving the issue at hand. I was left feeling incredibly frustrated and disrespected.
Frankly, his behavior reflects poorly on your company. Customer service should be about support and problem-solving, not intimidation. I strongly urge you to look into this matter and take appropriate action. No customer should be subjected to that kind of treatment.

I have had trouble with getting my Service record uploaded to keep my warranty valid as its all on customer portal online. As i didn't get the bike serviced by the dealer but a local garage they don't have access to the online portal. My first service was uploaded by helpful man at Motogb Stewart however trying to get my second service uploaded seems to be too much effort for Jim Ridyard and no one will help and now not responding. Totally annoying for something that would take them 2 minutes.
No after care once they have your money
Have an ongoing issue with brakes have sent an email to MotoGB And unfortunately they've chosen not to respond for something that's quite serious And that tells me everything I need to know of this company There is absolutely no after care just take your money and then ignore you .
Save yourself some time by elsewhere because they're not interested in orher customers they've demonstrated that and can see from other reviews it's a similar story great business model.
Clearly I will not buy from them again
Don't waste your time
Tried to but a bike after after 3 months numerous emails calls etc no one gets back.in touch don't waste your time with this company . Maybe £6k was not enough for them to bother now purchased the product of another supplier at least they co tact and ring you . Buyer beware worst experience ever
Not bad at all
The parts were a little hard to find got help from staff delivery took longer than expected but no rush needing them not bad
Total lack of communication
Bought Mondial HPS 125 in Oct 24 for my daughter from a recognised 'dealer' in Huntingdon. Bike developed an intermittent starting fault which neither dealer nor MotoGB particularly interested in accepting responsibility for. Website has bike registered as an SMX 125. At least 4 e-mails to MotoGB have been ignored. What is there to say? Steer clear of any bike sold through a MotoGB franchise and whilst their portfolio looks good value, their after sales and customer service are abysmal. You get what you pay for. Not worth the hassle.

My Grandson purchased a new Sym scooter. Just a year later it developed an electrical fault which required a new part. He has been waiting months for the part to arrive and keeps getting fobbed off by motogb uk who say the parts can take up to 10 weeks to arrive. I even contacted Sym direct in Taiwan who eventually referred me back to motogb uk. They are a complete waste of time and have no interest in looking after their customers. My advise is to steer clear of motogb and Sym .

So I bought a Morbidelli MBP C1002v from these guys and to be honest it’s not a bad bike for the price! The problem is I have a fault on the LCD DISPLAY so it has to be replaced under warranty, i have emailed them, tried to phone them and the mechanic has sent them a video and pictures of the fault. I have heard nothing and all requests so far have been ignored.
Seems to me that this company has zero respect for anyone that have bought a bike from them and have no intention of fulfilling the warranty agreement, and try getting any parts 😂 almost everything on there website is out of stock. I would definitely recommend that no one should buy anything from MOTOGB as once they have your money they can’t be bothered, absolutely useless 👎🏻

I put in a reveiw unhappy with moto gb withdrew it as I've had a good explanation as to the problem which I am now happy with it was down to administration error which they promised to sort out now very happy with phone conversation
Disappointed
Disappointed, bought a crash helmet and was charged extra delivery for Highlands and Islands when that's clearly not where I live. It's just a scam to charge more as I know the courier they used doesn't charge extra to me as they come here regularly. There is no excuse for this as even the port office don't count Aberdeen as Highlands. So it is clearly just a scam. No excuse. I wrote to them and they chose to ignore me.

If I could leave 0 stars I would 🤬 I bought a beta rr 125 brand new for £6500.00 from Appleyard motorcycles (Moto gb), had it for just over a year and done just under 1900 miles on it mild green lane’ing, it starting making like a chain wiring noise from the engine then slowly died, I contacted Beta Uk and Appleyard motorcycles and neither were interested in the warranty, seems once they have your money your on your own, SKUMBAGS! Think hard before you buy a bike from them as the warranty isn’t worth squat!
