Good, comprehensive HPI report, and when we were buying a car, Todd even went as far as to investigate and explain a mileage discrepancy with some service book details we provided, which removed a lot of the stress of buying

I contacted MotorCheck.co.uk through their online chat option about some info needed on a car that otherwise would be not available on their full report. I spoke to Sammy who could have easily turned my request down but he didn't. Instead he managed to track down all the info and more that I was asking for in a very swift and efficiency way. Their report as well as I had to purchase one is super detailed and more than you will ever need if you are checking a car.

After being somewhat dissatisfied with my first vehicle check experience I decided to try again,I am very pleased I found Motorcheck,the price was very reasonable and the information provided really in depth.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Motorcheck service.

I was looking to buy a used car but the milage and the cost seemed a bit off so i did a HPI check and after using this service, I mean i got a report but the info i obtained on it was subpar. something told me to use another site recommended by experts and lo and behold the car i was about to buy was a CAT X car (stolen/recovered). had i used the info on Motorcheck i would have bought a car i had basic info on.

This company is very good at what they do and I wouldn’t use anyone else. The customer service is also excellent ✌️

To the person that says you can get the info. free, where? in different places? Do I have to access multiple websites? Thank you MotorCheck they gave 'instant' relevant information before I made a costly mistake, on a Main/High street dealer with an 'approved' used car, they identified an odometer reading that had gone down ( about 20,000 miles disappeared) then up again! On another search, a car with outstanding finance. Worth the money.

So thankful for the team to sort a vehicle discrepancy at a record time. Highly recommend using their service

Found a car which my daughter was interested in, we checked it out great car. Great condition. Wasn’t sure about the mileage so did a check via the website, it came back and reassured me it was fine, there was a minor discrepancy which was rectified with 10 mins, looks like we are buying the car now, would use again. Thanks Aly for your help.

Avoid at all costs.
The service these lot provide are completely
Bottom of the range checks, these same checks that you’re paying, you can get the exact same checks on a free website.
They won’t issue you any Cat pictures, they will give you the excuse of ( cat photos aren’t made public) however if you use any of the other rival companies they will provide you with a full report including Cat photos, best part about it members of the public can access them aswell.
Avoid at all costs, they are just scamming people by promoting themselves onto google so people miss the free options.

Used motorcheck via carwow and the HPI check gave out of date information. The company claim that They receive data from the DVLA. However, the garage had already done a HPI check (before I did my own one). The garage showed an up to date v5c date. The one that I paid for showed an outdated one!!!!! To make it clear, both of these checks were done using motorcheck. The latter of the two (that I paid for) was out dated!!!!!!

Me a my partner are currently looking for a van to convert in to a camper for the first time. We came very close to buying one that we liked and was in our budget. Luckily I decided to do a check with motor check and the it came back that the van was a cat s insurance write off! This was not in the advert and apparently the seller was not aware. I spoke with Todd who was really helpful and confirmed this information for me. Paying a few pound for a vehicle check has saved us a few thousand pound! Thank you again.

Absolutely sh😮t they take your money and don’t even get back too you after a finance case i opened but there quick enough to take your money I was happy up until this point go somewhere else these are shocking

Todd was very helpful with my enquiry about my report. Responded very quickly.

I had already purchased a car, so within the return period I decided to check the HPI history myself after the Car dealership one didn't quite seem right.

NMR (National mileage register) and a plate change had flagged up on the provided one at the top, but a customer rating window at the bottom of the print out obscured the full report.

So through the Carwow site - Car history check which is provided by Motorcheck.co.uk, I paid for 3 reports for £14.99.

I read through the new report, indeed it showed the plate change and the NMR showed a discrepancy, the number plate change I had already picked up on the service records.
But the NMR concerned me.

I clicked on the check mileage discrepancies button and filled out the form provided.

Next business day I had a email message from Todd at Motor check.co.uk

To summarise his response...
These readings are taken from an insurer and are often rounded up or down to a best guess or in some cases applied to the wrong vehicle due to a private plate or human error. This can be cross-referenced against the MOTs near the time and other physical evidence.

Todd suggested that I could upload service history and MOT history so I did with ease-all through the motorcheck.co.uk messenger service.

I had a follow up email from Todd, and now I have total peace of mind.
Within a short time after they had reviewed my documentation the NMR discrepancy has been removed.
And all of the service history has been added to the report.

I was very impressed by the support and speed of the response, cars are a lot of money these days and I should of done this previously but getting all of the history of a car pre-sale can be sometimes difficult until a deposit is made.

Paid for a hpi check and for some reason I couldn't login to their website to see it so I paid again but still wouldn't work.
I called up for a refund and the person on the phone refused to refund both transactions.

Yes you only refunded one of the charges eventho I couldn't use any of your services.
So no you weren't helping you just refused to issue the second refund
