Prompt delivery
Prompt delivery, item seems like excellent quality but obviously until I use it on the dog in the weather it's designed for, I can't fully comment on the effectiveness. Good fit for our border collie though, the size charts were very helpful in deciding on the right size.

Good website and products
Very easy to order and excellent products, sadly at this moment in time the items were too big for my 16month old dog so I returned them and will wait til he has filled out a bit. I can therefore also say the returns process is also very easy.

I bought a rain jacket that cost over £40 and was hoping it was worth the money. My dog had it on twice and the outer layer ripped. I believe the material is of poor quality and would not buy nor recommend this retailer. So disappointed.

Sorry to hear of your disappointment. We do sell many hundreds of these lightweight rain coats each year with out issue and with many hundreds of satisfied customers.
Alas, in this instance the damage caused to your coat was something that was outside of warranty.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review of our small business.
Great fit for our vizsla…
The coat is a great fit for our vizsla girl, who is notoriously hard to buy coats for due to her shape.
It looks to be well made and very warm although not tested in the wild yet.
I'm pleased that it comes in a packable pouch, which is a good size so it is easy to pack away, and useful for storing in our rucksack.
Reaching through the flap to access a harness connection might be fiddly, but seems do-able.

My first purchase from Mountain Dog and it didn’t disappoint. The jacket fits my Labrador retriever perfectly after following the size guide. The quality is of a high standard , well worth the money. I received the order quickly. I will definitely be using Mountain dog in the future and recommending to friends and family.

These lights are great value for money and keep your pet well in sight even in bushy areas - bigger than they used to be and fit nicely on collars and harnesses / better than others I’ve tried and less expensive

Very good delivery service and price.
Very good delivery service. Absolute great price on a top quality Hurta Dog Training Jacket. Love these jackets and vests as I can have everything to hand to train my dog and my clothes are protected at the same time. These vests and jackets are robust and tough, comfy to wear, loads of pockets with easy access for training. Thanks for the bargain price and service Mountain Dog.

What an amazing quality dog coat
What an amazing quality dog coat. I am so pleased with the sizing and fit of the Fjord raincoat in size 30. My small Jack Russell has a curly tail which makes some coats fit awkward. The rear tog means it can be drawn up to accommodate her tail and the neck togs keep it snuggly fit. Leg straps are in perfect position and thankfully there are no Velcro fasteners which always get clogged up with pine needles and dirt. Delivery was fast. Brilliant product.

Just as advertised
The sizing of the harness was spot on in line with the advice given on the site. The material and the quality of the harness is first class and the fit is really very good with plenty of adjustment room if the dog gets fatter or thinner plus the design makes it impossible for the dog to slip the harness. All round the best harness I've come across in a long while

Worse returns policy I've ever seen
Comes across as petty to charge 15% fees for when they feel someone has returned too many items. I understand those types of people are frustrating, but consumer rights allows for people to return items they bought online. A particularly bad look on mountain dog considering the consumer is also responsible for paying for return fees etc.
It's a red flag to me.

Thank you for taking the time to review our small business, Im sorry to hear its not a positive one. As a caring company we make every effort to offer competitive prices and a great service to our customers - this is evidenced in our overwhelmingly positive reviews from those who have bought from us - it's a real shame we didn't get to this stage with you. Our published return policy is fair, compliant to UK law and and in addition we send out replacements at our cost when the item arrives back for an exchange - if you don't get what you need first time we want to help and fast. Whilst we do reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee for damaged or items returned incomplete that is the extent of potential return charges. We've been in business seven years and we can't actually remember the last time we had to charge anyone for a return - it is a wildly rare occurrence. Our lovely customers understand we are an independent/family organisation and work with us to ensure a smooth return or exchange. We serve many 1000's of customers each year and we frequently receive great feedback on our after sales processes. We are sorry you felt it necessary to review as you did but we are always here to help if needed.
