The lodges are first class and lovely. The trek is beautiful and you cover a lot of terrain. Salkantay Mountain is very majestic. One of the most enjoyable trips I've taken.

Pros:

Wide but safe.
Felt secured all the time.
Very good equipament.
Great envirament
Great staff and friendly.
I want to go again in a different rout.

To think about:
The time of the year was not the best, got no sun at all

Everyone we have dealt with so far has been extremely professional, knowledgeable, prompt, responsive, helpful, positive, and easy to work with.
We haven't been on our trip with them yet, but so far, I would highly recommend this company.

Excellent accommodations, delicious food and very knowledgeable guides. Highly recommend the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu which is somewhat challenging but well worth the effort to be able to stay in the luxury lodges and see amazing vistas without the crowds associated with the more popular Inca Trail hike.

Taking the Salkantay Trail to Machu Picchu, each night, the lodge continued and amplified the amazing experiences we had each day ... the architecture, the staff, the food, the views, and the comraderie and bon homie of our fellow hikers and guides! The lodges were also great 'lift off pads' for starting another marvelous day. Perhaps a trite phrase but in this case perfectly true: it could not have been better!

The lodges are warm and inviting after a long day of hiking! The food was delicious and the beds super comfy.

MLP did a great job throughout the whole experience with making our trip comfortable and worry free. we did the Salkantay trek, it was challenging and rewarding, and we got to enjoy the beauty of Peru and the wonder of Machu Picchu with a company that has a community focus, respect for the environment, and understanding of hospitality.

This was a spectacular hike ! The landscape can't be surpassed and our guide was very knowledgeable about all flora and fauna. Accommodations are first class
The hike requires some effort and we did reach 15,000 ft elevation, so some physical preparedness is important.

The hiking was great but even better was knowing we’d be sleeping in a warm cozy bed in beautiful unique lodges at the end of each hiking day. And we really enjoyed the cultural experiences interspersed throughout the trip!

We have booked mountain macchu Picchu in our trip, and did Waya Picchu. I have already done 2 times Wayna picchu and i was anxious to climb mountain macchu Picchu. I was very dissapointed with this
