Great experience, from the lodges, the food and the guides.

Absolutely fabulous vacation in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Our guides were incredible, hikes on secluded mountain trails breathtaking and accommodations top notch!

Excellent food, service and facilities.

It was the beginning of the season. We understand that there are start up issues but it was so disorganized it really was at times poor. There should have been heat it the building and better training for the staff. We love our guides and know it was difficult to change the itinerary because of the landslide. But the lodge was not prepared for our visit

As amazing as Peru was, our guides made the trip. Ali, Javier and Saul were the perfect mix of professional, passionate and personal. We learned so much from them - yes the text book stuff but as important the daily/cultural aspects of Peru.
Oh, and the trekking and lodges were awe inspiring.
This was our first trip with a small group (we usually go solo - so were hesitant) and the itinerary, setting and guides made the group one of the most valuable aspects of the trip.

Really loved the trip as arranged by MLP! Everything was so organized and efficient! We especially loved our guide Carlos, who was very accommodating and caring throughout the trek! We felt so safe with him as our guide. The fellow hikers were awesome as well! We highly recommend this trip of a lifetime!

Best trip ever!

My 4 girlfriends and I completed the 7 day Salkantay Trek in October 2019 then spent some time in the Sacred Valley. Fantastic accommodation and food at every lodge, and exceptional guides (Tony and Daniel) who looked after us so well, were extremely knowledgeable about Peru, the local flora and animals, and all the amazing places we visited on our trek. Would highly recommend Mountain Lodges of Peru re their organization of our whole trip. Just be aware you have to do all bookings, any changes or queries via email or phone only.

Great walk. Fantastic accommodation and food.So good to travel off the beaten track and see so much that most people don’t. Loved the whole trip and thoroughly recommend Mountain Lodges. This walk totally suited our level of fitness and desire not to carry a full pack nor sleep in tents. We are past that. We felt again like travelers not tourists. Semantic to some but important to us

This was a superb trip organised by Mountain Lodges -fantastic accomplishment and nit the usual tourist places but in communities supported by and supporting the lodges
A great win win for the remote and rural communities Fantastic food at each and every lodge we stayed Our house were knowledgeable expert ink wading is through barely visible “ Inca trails” with knowledge of Quaichan traditions and imparted their knowledge beautifully with enthusiasm and experience and knowledge and pride in their heritidge and culture

The best trip ever!! It was a most memorable experience and we can't recommend enough. If you're going to Peru and the Sacred Valley/Cuzco area, this trek is a must.

Mountain Lodges it was the best experience I’ve ever had backpacking! Their staff, hospitality, accommodations are all superb and top notch. I would travel with them 100 times over if I had the chance.

Great experience, Miguel and Daniel were great guides for the week through the Salkantay pass to Macchu Picchu. Lodges were incredible, great staff, super food. Beautiful country, Cusco beautiful town too.
