So I will thrilled to see gold foil Appenzeller cheese on their website. It was described as black label. What was delivered was a half the price cheese called Kaltbach. It’s a totally diffferent cheese and nothing to do with the Appenzeller canton! It has black rind with Kaltbach on it. No Appenzeller obviously on the rind. They are dishonest in this sale and I shall be approaching trade and standard! When I spoke to the shop they told me Appenzel and Kaltbach are the same cheese! Avoid this shop!

I recently ordered the goat’s and ewe’s milk cheese selection online as a birthday present (hard to find a selection that didn’t include cow’s milk cheese - thank you). The cheeses were big wedges, really nicely wrapped, and I was really grateful to Claire who helped me fix a mistake I made on the order and went the extra mile as well. Thanks Claire 🤩

We were excited to visit the Hereford shop and the selection of cheeses is amazing but our group of 5 felt that the service from one lady was abrupt and rude. We had been offered tasters (one small sliver) of cheeses we were interested in and were buying as we went. The person who wasn’t serving us suddenly turned on us about tasting cheeses being uneconomical so we paid (nearly £40 for what we had chosen so far) and left. I went back later to say how upset we had been and received even more abrupt treatment.

The Mousetrap cheeses are absolutely delicious. If you like cheese, you've not tasted the best until you've bought cheese from this shop. It really is melt-in-the-mouth cheese for the seasoned connoisseur. We've just had an order arrive and are cutting lumps off to eat without any crackers etc. The goats brie is just heavenly, Snowdonia is delicious, and the cranberry cheese is otherworldly. The orders are free postage over a certain amount. If you're tempted to buy from here, do it. I promise you that you'll return for more, like us. It's our special treat to order from the Mousetrap. Gorgeous cheeses!!!

The Mousetrap cheese is definitely for the connoisseur. They produce delicious cheeses and are free delivery for over £35, which is a steal for what you get. Honestly, if you're a cheese lover - you should try the Mousetraps 'Snowdonia' and their goats brie, it's absolute heaven to eat and the nicest cheese I've ever eaten. This is the best cheese you'll find anywhere, that I promise. It's the cheese experience you'll never forget. 100% indulgence.
