I would certainly recommend Movenowproperties to anyone with rental properties. For landlords they are everything you could wish for, genuinely caring and professional. Jamie was my point of contact and he was fantastic, always quick and happy to respond to any request. He found the perfect tenants and made our whole experience stress free and a pleasure. A great letting agent. :)

I recently rented a property with move now. The service we received from Sam was excellent, she's super friendly and couldn't have done more for me. She kept me up to date every step of the way. With previous letting agents I have found myself chasing information, with move now this was not the case. I reported an issue a few weeks after moving in and it was fixed within 24hours. I would definitely recommend to anyone

I used this agency unsuspected (as most of us are) and regretted that no one told me how bad they were. Please read below how they serviced me as a Landlord and decide if you want to use them.

I let my house through them. It has been a nightmare experience.

1. They advised me to fix the rent above the market rate. No one came for several weeks and they still insisted that i should not go down. I disagreed and reduced it. I lost money on it. Probably, they wanted a higher fee as higher rent = higher fee.
2. When presenting the potential tenant shortlist, they were discriminatory and showed me only a couple of them while several have visited. I wanted to be present when they showed the property so that i could get to assess the potential tenants. They did not allow me to do so.
3. They insisted that i put over the top tough terms and conditions on the contract (than advised by legal experts) in order to keep control on the tenants. I reluctantly agreed and found out it was inhumane
4. They lied on the inventory about the condition of the furnishings and appliances
5. When i wanted to attend to repairs and repaint before renting, they told me that is not necessary and there will be willing tenants to take anything. In hindsight, realized how stupid i was to believe them
6. they did not hand over the property well and caused lot of issues.

So much more. As landlords, we take a lot of risks. But, don't take the biggest risk of using this agency. Save yourself unnecessary issues.

I now rent through another big listed agency and everything is fine.

Highly recommend this company, we have used them to sell our house and to manage two lettings for us. The service they have provided across both the sale and the lettings has been excellent. Very good handling of our property sale and for getting us the price we wanted, always kept us up to date, with plenty of notice and feedback after each viewing. Detailed the property well in the sales particulars. Also excellent management of our letting properties. Very professional and helpful service. Thank you.

I used this agency to sell my house. They took around 6 months to sell and it was sold 35K under the market value.

Almost identical neighbour's house was sold by another agency and they got £55k more than me. Also a, few houses away from my house also sold for £35k more than mine. How is that?

I trusted the positive reviews online before i entrusted this agency. But, learnt the hard way that this agency is not skilled in selling houses profitably for owners.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Having been a tenant 10 years ago and now a landlord with movenowproperties I don’t have anything bad to say
As a tenant they helped me through the whole letting process. It was a difficult time for me personally but they were extremly patient and helped me move into a rental property with ease

I now let me property with movenowproperties and have brilliant tenants. The rent is paid into my account on time every month and I get property inspection reports giving me piece of mind.
I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to let, buy or sell

Worked with Amanda and Sam from Movenow for two years now and I have genuinely never met owners who are as passionate about there business and caring towards there customers. A true testament to the industry.

Have used this agency and instead of working in the interest of both parties (Landlord & Tenants), they were solely focussed on extracting their revenue from both of us.

FOR TENANTS - They exploit tenants and their rights by making them sign disproportionate contracts that favour landlords. They write false, inaccurate and misleading move-in details and you might not notice it until you check every line when moving in. Later, your money will be withheld for things you have nothing to do with.

Have been charged for service that was not rendered and did not return the money back. Think twice before you use this agency.

FOR LANDLORDS - They are not good to the Landlord either. They put all the liabilities on your head (costs, repairs, service fee etc.) while securing their fee at all cost (even at your loss). Also, they do not like landlords to get in touch with tenants for the fear that they will develop a cordial relationship (which is a bane to them). Though it is your property and you benefit from a cordial relationship with the tenant (and the house gets maintained well due to that good relationship|), they throw every trick in their book to prevent you from it. They also abandon you when there is a problem.

Landlords, Please find a letting agency that would be honest, fair and act in your best interest - at least for the money you pay. Do not allow yourself to be taken for a ride.

Without integrity, nothing matters! Please be BEWARE of the positive reviews. They might not be genuine.
