Cavan store
Everytime I go in to buy something that I need. They price is always wrong and a lot higher than the price stated.
So a big horang to get management go down and check and then come back up to change the price.
How hard is it to get a price right..
I think Eason's from now on!

Very disappointed with mr price Nenagh as most staff cannot understand English or even talk english and i had a big issue with balloons as they were supposed to do confirmation balloons but ended up mixing communion and confirmation ballons in 4 bundles. Very disappointing. They need new staff that can actually do their job and understand what u are saying to them. They need a better system for balloons and not let anyone come in and just take them without a ticket.

I would give no stars if I could.
Shop needs new staff! Specially behind the counter. I was in mr price last week and today and had the same uncomfortable experience.
Two girls that are working behind the counter were sneering and laughing at customers whiles stuffing their faces with food while’s they were serving customers.
They have no customer service skills or know how to present themselves they look like they just woke up from the bed.
I won’t be returning and I’m sure mr price will lose more costumers if they encounter them also.

Went into Mr price in Roxboro today queried why no prices displayed on shelves says they are moving things around I say it's like that weeks she just shrugged her shoulders and says I know I say sign of bad management it was a place I would shop alot in not just that but some of the staff so untidy id say they dragged themselves into work I just left and went to euro shop in parkway experience a lot more pleasant

I used to love Mr. Price, i frequently visited the cork city store which was always a pleasure as i worked near UCC,I work remote now since November and my nearest store is Midleton i officially will no longer return here! Staff have gone completely down hill, young rude and disinterested for most part and went to return plastic bottles for the recycling refund in Midleton as i have done in Mr. Price before and was told they no longer do it! Just seemed more like couldn't be bothered to me. Also shop has gone completely filthy over past few months! Will no longer buy food from there as packaging i have picked up on two occasions had been clearly nibbled by rodents! First time i actually spoke to management who said oh sometimes it comes in like that and snags on delivery, i dont think so! I didn't bother the second time as clearly not listening to customer concerns, never mind trolleys of random products down every isle and corner of the shop, accident waiting to happen. So disappointing as cork city store never like this, is management for cork city and Midleton different as it is like night and day between the 2 stores!

Mr.Price Castlebar Clodagh was very nice and helpful.
I had 4 items that I bought in Mr.Price before and I want to exchange even though I lost my receipt.

Clodagh was very good that I could buy something in behalf rather then getting the money back.

I wish I could give 0 stars but since that’s an option I’ll give 1. I was in mr.price and I decided to buy two energy drinks, due to the deposit scheme I was charged the extra 15 cent for each can, when I returned home I was displeased to realise that there was no option to get a refund even though I was charged I returned to mr price to enquire why I had been charged and they told me that it didn’t matter if you couldn’t get my deposit they said it’s to do with the government(which is not true) it’s not the point of the money it’s the audacity to think they can rip people off. I’m writing this to make people aware to check before you pay as my husband went into another mr price in ballincollig and they tried to do the same thing thankfully he was aware, all them 15 cents add up and we are in a cost of living crisis so it’s not fair that people should have to pay extra out of there hard earned money to throw in the bin if this continues my next step will be contacting the ceo

Purchased mop and handle paid 1.99euro following week returned to purchase mop head (only). Was charged double the price for it 3.49euro????

Racist security officer “Dave” 👎🏾

Entered Mr. Price today to buy a few things and have a look around. Originally security officer named “Dave” was sitting down. We weren’t really paying much attention to him at first as we were looking at some sweets.

We then went to the last aisle to look at some balloons and decor to which the security guard followed us. The shop was quite busy, no one else was on our aisle, only us, however he followed us and stood at the bottom of our aisle watching us until we left.

We then went to the stationary aisle to which we were followed again, he even stood closer to us. He stared at us only even though the aisle was busy.

We decided to return back to the balloon aisle to see if he was really following us to which he followed AGAIN close behind .

We then confronted him to which he wasn’t replying. We reported the incident to the person on tills, requesting to speak to the manager however unfortunately he was not there. As we spoke to the person on the tills, “Dave” remained with a smug smirk on his face.

In 2024 to see racial profiling still heavily present is extremely disgusting and disappointing. As an individual that has never stolen, to get followed around by a security guard just because of the colour of my skin is extremely degrading. My friend and I left Mr. Price feeling so uncomfortable and upset about the situation, when we entered on high spirits. This is not right, in 2024, I expect so much better .

This happened in Mr. Price Kilkenny, Sunday 24/03/24 around 16:45.

Had ordered 3 balloons for kids birthday today from Galway store, by the time I got to car right outside of shop one of the balloons was deflating, went straight back to shop and got a replacement by NOT so friendly member of staff, an hour later all 3 balloons were deflating and did not even last for party, would definitely not recommend, keep away.

New store opened up in Newcastle West in Co Limerick and we'll impressed. Big store, so much to choose from. Great prices. Would love if the chocolate was a little cheaper but thrilled to have Mr. Price in my town.

Staff helpful and cheap products but moderate good quality

Having visited the Ballinsloe store again generally speaking to some staff it seems their hours are being chopped and changed , there are staff who are now going to leave re this. Surely a certain amount of notification of a change of hours should be given, still no first aid trained person in that store , there are staff who are prepared to work the longer times but those who are have had their hours cut , it is a lovely store but not enough staff to staff it properly, such a shame, still no manager to run it .The staff that are there are helpful and customer friendly ,

Yesterday I went to Mr Price Hazyview to buy a phone that I saw there.

Since it is the only shop where I can still get this particular model, a Xiaomi Redmi 10 2022.

At the Hazyview shop there were two on display. One for Telkom and one for Vodacom.

It must be mentioned that the lady who assisted me was very helpful and really tried to help me throughout the ordeal, but just couldn't.

What happened was that after I spent two hours in the shop to buy this phone, and after paying for it with my credit card, the shops system would accept that phone for some reason. As they kept trying to scan this phone the system kept on saying that this phone is not on the shop stock yet.

For this reason I couldn't get this phone, which is there in the shop, but not in the stock list of the other shop, and apparently this phone had been there for a year or more, as it is an older model.

So, after two hours of trying and struggling the kind lady trying to assist me, gave up.
And told me that they will have to cancel the sale and refund my money. (Which would take two days because it was paid by credit card).

So I had to leave the shop without the phone and without the money in my account.

All because for some strange reason the phone was never put into stock on the system in your shop.

And it was the only Redmi 10 2022 left on Vodacom.

I asked if someone cannot put it into stock so I could buy it. She said that in that shop there is no one that can do this. And that only the area manager could do that.

I asked if they couldn't call the area manager to assist us.

She said no. Only when this person comes to the shop.

She gave me the option to buy the same model phone which was on MTN, of which there were two available l, but I can't use those as it is network locked and I am using Vodacom.

So the phone is still there in the shop, but I can't buy it because it is not showing in the stock sheet of the shop.

Isn't there anyone who can just put this phone on stock? So I can buy it?

I have bought some stationaries tonight but did not collect receipt because the cashier did not give it to me.
I went there for a refund or replacement about 30 mn later because I chosed the wrong items.
They refused to refund or replace although they usually write on their receipt that it is possible even without bringing the receipt.
It is a very weird customer service.
IT HAPPENED AT Mr. PRICE ASHBOURNE on the 21st December 2023 around 6.30pm.

Nenagh Mr price the worst experience of my life from a obnoxious person serving and impolite customer service was the worst I ever seen went out with my shopping to car fourty euro went back in to get the two teddies for 4.99 when u spent twenty because I put the shopping in my car I couldn't get them only my family in car I would have brought the whole lot back in and get my money back got his training if that the way he trained to threat customers ye be better of without them no manager around no one to speak to cried and went back to my car going to tell everyone about this experience no wonder there was no one in there hardly I am sure there alot more people that could be taking on for these roles then truly the worst service to receive I would advise everyone stay clear if you don't want your head bitten of what happened to customer comes first

Mr Price in Tullamore is awful. Every time i buy something there then it is always with misleading price tag. Staff need to work well for the correct price tag.

I have shoped in the Midleton shop for many many years, I live just up the road so it's always handy and cheaper than many other shops. Recently have noticed it seems messy and dirty. I am part of local women's knitting group and there has been talks of mice spotted in the shop on a few occasions I always saw this as rumours or just a once off but experienced it first hand myself yesterday!!! I was looking for toys for my grand daughter and heard a commotion and sure enough there was a live mouse on the shelf and overheard staff saying this is going on months. Absolutely disgusting considering food is sold here. I will never ever buy from from this shop again I'm absolutely disgusted and we buy a lot of our wool here well never again, even though the stock of wool is basically non existent in recent weeks any way

I undertand the weather and mice will happen but to hear it's an on going problem and not sorted is shameful. I hope the health and safety department or haccp are informed of such!!

Mr Price Ashbourne used to be a decent place to shop. In the last few years it has become very unpleasant. Consistently putting the wrong prices on the shelves then charging more, never less, at the checkout.
When trying to explain to the staff, both on the checkout and management, the response is usually rude and sometimes passive aggressive. I have had staff tell me not to raise my voice, even though I had not, which was pointed out by another customer.
The response from emailing customer care was distinctly lacking in care.
