âI am writing this review because Vinted is systematically violating my consumer rights and GDPR (Article 17 - Right to Erasure). I have been trying to delete my account for weeks, but their system is completely blocked due to an internal software glitch.
âThe app falsely claims I have a pending balance of 0.06 CZK (approx. 0.002 EUR) in my expected payments. All my real transactions are fully completed, closed, and I owe absolutely nothing.
âCustomer support is completely useless, sending only automated bot replies and refusing to do a manual override to delete my account. A technical bug on their side is not a legal excuse to hold my personal data hostage.
âBecause of their total ignorance, I have officially escalated this matter and filed formal complaints with the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net) and the Lithuanian authorities, including the State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI) and the Bank of Lithuania (Lietuvos bankas).
âClear this fiktivnà balance and delete my account immediately!
A platform for facilitating scams
This website is nothing more than a platform for facilitating scams. It has got worse now as it charges buyer protection fees, which are meaningless because it has no interest in protecting buyers rights. If the product that arrives was misrepresented or even completely different from the description or unfit for purpose, the seller can offer a return while refusing to pay any postal costs connected to the purchase or return (and the postal costs sellers levy are often absurdly high). The website gives the buyer no recourse in this regard and makes it almost impossible to find a human or even anywhere to send a message to support. Absolutely avoid!

I have purchased 5 items on Vinted that were counterfeit, fake. I have received refunds for all items. One of the sellers I purchased from, I made it clear to the seller the item was counterfeit and raised the issue with Vinted. I returned and received a full refund. The seller has re advertised the exact same item. Exactly the same advert as previously. I reported the seller to Vinted and Vinted reviewed my complaint and informed me the seller has not breached any Vinted advertising regulations. 5 COUNTERFEIT ITEMS REPORTED TO VINTED. AVOID VINTED THEY DON'T GIVE A HOOT. THEY ARE AS BAD AS THE SELLERS.

Chcem varovaÅ¥ vÅ¡etkÜch predajcov na Vinted. Na platforme som predávala dlho a v minulosti u mÅa overenie totoÅŸnosti prebehlo uÅŸ viackrát a vÅŸdy úplne bez problémov. Nikdy nenastal ÅŸiadny zádrhel, aÅŸ kÜm som nedosiahla Äalšà limit predaja, kedy systém opÀť vyÅŸiadal Å¡tandardné overenie (KYC).
Od 24. februára 2026 prechádzam absolútnym peklom. PodÄŸa pokynov som opakovane nahrávala obÄiansky preukaz, vÜpis z bankového úÄtu a dokonca aj oficiálne potvrdenie o vedenà bankového úÄtu â teda tie isté dokumenty a postupy, ktoré predtÜm fungovali. Vinted mi ich vÅ¡ak bez akéhokoÄŸvek logického dÃŽvodu neustále zamieta.
Celá situácia vyvrcholila tÜm, ÅŸe mi poslali âkoneÄné rozhodnutieâ, zablokovali mi úÄet a zadrÅŸali mojich 182 â¬, ktoré mi odmietajú vyplatiÅ¥! Ide o bezdÃŽvodné obohatenie a privlastnenie si cudzÃch peÅazÃ. ZákaznÃcka podpora posiela len automatické, generované odpovede a odmieta situáciu reálne rieÅ¡iÅ¥. Akonáhle dosiahnete limity, hrozà vám, ÅŸe prÃdete o peniaze aj o úÄet, hoci ste u nich v minulosti boli úspeÅ¡ne overenÃ. Vinted uÅŸ nikdy viac.

Vinted works well until something goes wrong. Then you discover how difficult it can be to get clear answers from customer support. My dispute dragged on for weeks, I was repeatedly asked for information that had already been provided, and the process became confusing and frustrating. Based on my experience, buyer protection is not as reliable as I expected.
Cancellation policy is unfair.
I cancelled my order almost immediately when I realised I'd made a sizing error. The seller ignored my cancellation request and sent the order anyway. It is now going to cost me â¬15.00 - â¬7.49 delivery and â¬7.49 return postage. I had to keep explaining the issue and it has taken 4 weeks so far and still not over. Extremely disappointed.

Ho contattato il supporto varie volte per un pacco che Ú andato perso durante la spedizione e, invece di aiutarmi a risolvere il problema o darmi spiegazioni sul rimborso, mi ignorano bellamente. Sono mesi che aspetto risposte concrete e mi ritrovo con i soldi buttati e nessun aiuto da parte della piattaforma. Vinted si preoccupa solo di bloccare gli utenti per cavilli burocratici, ma quando si tratta di tutelare chi ha subito un vero danno economico con pacchi smarriti, spariscono nel nulla. Bought and sold several items on Vinted without any major issues. Currently waiting for payment for an order that was sent over 2 weeks ago where the customer claimed the package was open. Sent to Vinted for review. They promised a 48h turnaround time reply but been waiting for over 10 days now. They are impossible to reach and just hope you'll give up so they can keep the money.
