We have had great life travel experiences with MTS on quite a few trips and have met many nice people along the way. Not always perfect but who is when it comes to complicated travel overseas and dealing with numerous clients with different levels of experience. We love the company because with all of the planning we don't have to worry or stress out about anything. If something should go wrong we know that MTS will try their best to make it right.

simple put: Mountain Travel SOBEK is the best of the best. From the write up of the adventure to the help with understanding everything about the adventure and reserving a spot will exceed your expectation and the trip itself will exceed your expectations from: the hotels to the guides to the places one visits and the food and most importantly the safety of we guests. Everything was perfect on every trip I did with Mountain travel SOBEK

This was a great trip! I've traveled a lot but not done many group tours, this worked really well. Small group and fantastic guides: Domen Bancic and Miha Klanjscek. The itinerary was just what I was looking for, and the guides often added some more stops when possible, based on people's interests. The hotels were all wonderful, and we had great food, often simpler and more regional for lunch, more sophisticated at dinner.

I did a rafting trip in Utah that was AMAZING!!! food, guides and most of all the sites on the river and the hikes. totally well organized; flawless in fact.

All of my dealings with Sobek have been great. The trips are well organized with lots of pre-trip info and well-executed with good guides, good hotels and really fun journeys. This past year, with the pandemic, all of my trips were cancelled. Not a problem for me, though I expect behind the scenes the Sobek team were having a very challenging time. But pushing my trips to 2021 or even 2022 was not a problem. They are a good company to plan your big, exciting adventures around.

"I really enjoyed the Brazil trip. The Toucano was charming, the guides very knowledgeable and imparted their love of nature and the wildlife in a very attentive and easy manner. The food was ample quite tasty.

And while I thought at first the Pirannah fishing evening was somewhat corny, it was a blast. I think I’ll never again find myself fishing and catching something with every cast. Also the swimming spot by the sandy bank was a special and amazing experience as well!”

MT Sobek Guides are the most knowledgeable and friendly. They are always encouraging and want to make sure everyone is included. They assess people's fitness levels when needed for dividing into groups on treks. Plus the food served is the best!

MTS staff is a delight to work with and travel alongside. My close friends have a trip planned for June 2021 which is a repeat of a summer 2020 trip. That speaks volumes.

I enjoyed this trip very much. Beautiful scenery, great hiking, and to top it off, the experience of traveling on so many different modes of transportation. Our guides were great, friendly, helpful and had patience for those of us that were slower on the hikes.

My only complaint would be that the quality of some of the restaurants in Oslo were not the best.

This was an amazing adventure. It was first class all the way. The guides were incredible and shared their love for their country. We could not wait to see what the next day brought as we hiked through so many diverse ecosystems every day. One of the best hiking trips that we have ever taken. We have already planned our next adventure with Mt Sobek.

The hike was great except our guide Sergio should have been retired years ago....too tired, not engaged with the clients, and just not motivating.

We have traveled with MT Sobek a few times now, the latest was in 2019 to Borneo, and every time it has been excellent. The guides have always been very knowledgeable, kind and entertaining. Highly recommended.
