They signed to up for reoccurring and I NEVER opted for that. You cannot get in touch with them. Worst customer service EVER!!!

It was okay but sludge at the bottom of the cup. The thing that bothers me is I was sent a second container. I wasn't aware I signed up for that, seems shady to me, and return policy is weird. We don't have a printer at this time so how do I print out their return . Not for me

Oh boy… how unfortunate. I came here because I’ve had the same customer service experience as others I can see and hoped it was an oversight. I loved the concept I even plastered it all over my own social media, fun and personal. Except when you need to talk to someone then you are completely ignored. As for the product… meh! Also had to add it to my coffee or blended with a date and sweetened plant milk. Feel like I fell for the pretentious idea and now I know the pretentiousness is real because the mere customer is a secondary thought. I would buy elsewhere from now on, let’s just hope my cancelled subscription is actually cancelled.

Very poor customer service.

My first can was fine but I experienced serious stomach issues with my second shipment of the product. When I complained to them about this, they said there was nothing they could do since it had been opened. Talk about customer NO SERVICE.

They even went so far as to tell me to just give it to a friend. They seriously want me to give something that is tainted and made me so sick I almost had to go to the hospital to a friend??

My tolerance to funky tasting stuff is quite high, but this is soooo rubbish even for my very capacious taste. Truly tastes like bland mud water, so lives up to its name. I ended up mixing it into my coffee, as I hope these mushrooms will give me some benefit.

I did expected it to taste different, it mushrooms. I use the coconut creamer and steam some milk in it. Yes if it sits long the ingredients sink, but I found it to be calming and enjoyable as a latte drink. I am new to the drink and I drink a lot of coffee all day. I do like replacing my coffee with this drink and I think I am sleeping better already by replacing some of my coffee drinks with this drink. I noticed the improvement with sleep pretty quickly - within days of replacing my later in the day coffee with this drink. It is mud water, it is a great name for it:) I do not find the texture annoying. I do like the flavor with the creamer. I plan o trying the Matcha next. I am overall happy and extremely happy to see the improved sleep by switching out a coffee or 2:)

I've been addicted to coffee for 25 years and it has not done my hormones any favors (estrogen dominance, adrenal fatigue, high cortisol, poor sleep). I decided to find a sub for my morning brew and dove into muddy water about 3 weeks ago. Although it does not even remotely taste like coffee, I actually like it's earthy taste. I mix it with beef collagen, a tsp of MCT and an extra dash of cinnamon. Problem is, now I'm addicted to this stuff and I'm wondering what did they REALLY put in it?!!!! The positives, no more hot flashes, night sweats (I'm 52 and had just started experiencing these lovely symptoms of the closing of the baby factory for about a month). I'm sleeping better than I have in a long time, having vivid dreams (what else would you expect from shrooms!!) and far fewer horrible headaches! My only real complaint is the cost, it's ridiculous, but for now it's my go to to get me through my day.

This drink is unpalatable. It really does taste like mud water. I tried it with several different kinds of milks and sweeteners and it all tastes dreadful. I asked for a refund. They said no. I’ve thrown it away. Horrible stuff.

Terrible customer services. Fancy marketing, empty words of welcome but non existent customer service. I had to call my bank to cancel my subscription and a shipping error still hasn’t been resolved. I paid £38 instead of £28 as listed. I haven’t tasted the product yet but I’ve already got a bad taste in my mouth.

Love the taste and I feel a lot better when I drink this over coffee

On my second batch now so over 3 months of trail. The taste is subjective. It tastes like a hearty cocoa drink if you’re not used to it it will be different. Main benefit I see from this drink is digestion my god it works well for me. Not too sure about the dosage of the mushrooms will have any benefits but feels like a good staple to my routine every morning.

Tastes like what I imagine dragged road metal would taste like. Now I know: it's all subjective. My perception of the colour red is not your perception of it, etc. But this is Trust Pilot and "trust" is the operative word, right? Like "I trust your perception of red to be comparatively close enough to mine that I can say 'red' and be fairly confident you will know what I mean." Well, rusty road metal dragged over rough hot concrete through all manner of dirt and gunk - lick that and that's what this acrid substitute for coffee tastes like. It's brash. It assaults the mouth. It sours. It's wince-worthy (I'm wincing now as I recall its taste). All brilliantly packed and marketed (that, I'll give them!). A low-grown Arabica bean ground, perhaps even blended, beats this stuff into the dirt, which is where, in my opinion, it belongs. Not in your cup, not in your mouth, not in your system - but in the dirt. I wavered for an Instagram minute, but my sacrosanct coffee ritual will resume (and hopefully remain) untainted.

I personally had a good experience with this company. I feel as this is a product for consumption commenting on something as subjective as taste is silly. Ordered a few times both their original Cacao blend and their newer Matcha blend. I very much prefer the Matcha blend over the original. Delivered shortly after payment was processed every time. Also had a quick and useful exchange with customer service when I accidentally left the wrong debit card on file. Hard to tell what was placebo and what was not in regards to the effect of this product but for me I felt one cup in the morning kept me up for the day.

This stuff is disgusting and wow, what a rip off on price. I really should know better than to fall for Instagram advertising.
It needed about 3 teaspoons of auger to make it vaguely palatable. Tastes like ginger and turmeric which is not worth the £35 I shelled out for it!

Where do I begin?

After deciding to quit coffee in January due to excessive intake and the negative effects it had on my health, I embarked on a journey to find healthier alternatives. My first experience with a brand called SpaceGoods was fantastic, setting a high bar for what I expected from similar products.

Encouraged to explore further, I stumbled upon MUD/WTR after seeing their advertisement on Instagram. The promise seemed enticing, and I was eager to give it a try.

However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment.

Contrary to the marketing, what I found was not a mud-like concoction but a beverage overwhelmingly dominated by turmeric.

This wouldn't have been a major issue if not for the aftermath of using the product.

My insulated mug is now permanently stained yellow from the turmeric, and the taste seems impossible to remove from the recycled plastic lid and rubber seal. Even my toothbrush head wasn't spared displaying it's new pain job of dark yellow instead of sparking white, showing me the potential impact on my teeth, which is concerning.

Taste and aesthetic issues aside, I didn't experience the wellness benefits I hoped for, though my judgment might be clouded by my disappointment in the product's unintended side effects.

To add insult to injury, I was unwittingly subscribed to receive more of the product, leading to an unexpected charge for another package. I admit I may have missed the subscription details, but I felt the process was not as transparent as it should have been.

In summary, unless you're a fervent turmeric enthusiast and unconcerned about the color of your teeth or kitchenware, I cannot recommend MUD/WTR. My experience was far from what I anticipated, and I urge potential buyers to proceed with caution.

It's also very disappointing to see MUD/WTR manipulating their reviews using their own system on their website which tells a very different story to what we see here on the honest world of Trustpilot.

Wow very shocked how strong this is, literally lit my brain up for well over an hour. Felt so much clarity and ability to focus, zero crash. Yes I do miss the taste of coffee so still having one, but this there after. My friends were also shocked at how it made them feel so clear

They say this is a coffee substitute 🤣, no chance. When they say mud, that’s exactly what you can imagine it tastes like! The product does not dissolve so you’re left with this granulated mess at the bottom of the glass, the overwhelming taste of turmeric and chai means you can’t taste anything else including for half a day after consuming. The price is ridiculous for this product and unless they innovate a better tasting product, I can’t see this going anywhere as they’re floating by on their marketing. Definitely wouldn’t recommend and do not waste your money, mines gone straight in the bin!

Update: Received my 2nd bag out of 4 yesterday (2/16), customer service seems to just take a while.

I purchased an ANNUAL subscription for $360 in October 2023, with a 15% discount code. I was supposed to receive a 90 day supply bag quarterly (4x), throughout the year for this price. I received the first bag and I loved the product and was looking forward to receiving my next bags throughout the year.

Come to find out-- the company has tried to charge my card ANOTHER $360 for another 90 supply bag during the time my 2nd shipment was due. Absolutely not the original agreement.

I sign back into my account to see what is going on and cancel my subscription, thinking I just misread the original agreement.... I'm quite particular with my finances and keep accurate track of my budget. There is no way I justified spending nearly $1500 on coffee a year back in October..... $360, yes, reasonable.

I find the subscriptions have changed and now am only able to subscribe to receive one 90 day supply bag for $100.... no more annuals?

Hmm.... so I do more digging and find their archive of their annual subscriptions under mudwtr(dot)com/collections

I originally purchased this on my mobile browser in Oct. 2023 and tried fixing it on a desktop browser Jan 2024.

Definitely shady. I feel upset that I have essentially been gaslighted by the changed website with ZERO email updates on changed subscriptions/rates/annuals....

Benefit of the doubt.... this could be a website developer tech error, with non-seamless mobile browsing and web browsing.

I have already contacted customer service and I am sharing my experience. I sincerely hope this matter is resolved so I can continue to be a loyal customer, as I have said before-- I LOVE the product and have been recommending it to everyone I meet.... just NOT for $4 a cup, y'all..... 75 cent I can afford ;___; <3

I like the flavor, and I would have continued to purchase the product had it not been so expensive. If you're interested in trying it, I wouldn't steer you away from this product. My biggest issue is cost. $40 for a month supply. Compared to the $.05 per cup that I pay for my Elite Instant Coffee, this stuff is 2500% more expensive per cup.

I did not experience any of the mental clarity or mental boost that they claim; didn't notice any increase in gut health either. To be clear, I did not have any negative experiences either.

I took one star off for price, and another star for the fact that it doesn't fully dissolve and it gets super gritty as you get to the end of the cup. There is no way for me to justify the $1+ per serving..

Poor Customer Service was provided by Christian. My daughter ordered a MUD/WTR for me at full price. I ordered MUD/WTR for my friend at 50% Black Friday. The full price bag was 5 months newer than the discounted sale.
I offered to keep the auto-shipment if Christian would exchange the questionable product for a fresh container. He said that the owners of the company would not allow him to exchange the product without me paying for the return shipment. I feel like the Customer Service Department is run by children.
The product tastes fine but I cancelled the auto-shipment because it was the fault of MUD/WTR, sending aged inventory to me and then making the return postage at my expense. I'm trying the competitor. I hope they are more mature than Customer Service at MUD/WTR. I feel tricked.
