I was very confused about the policies of Musicbed; specifically the trial period vs subscribing. I'm starting a podcast on a very tight budget and didn't fully understand Musicbed's platform. Olivia, their Client Specialist, took the time, over several emails, to explain to me the way downloading music worked, why it was important and their job to ensure their musicians and artists are compensated for their music. I had lots of questions and she answered them all thoroughly. Being new to the space, I thought the monthly fee was just another "money grab," but after reading all her detailed answers to my questions, I clearly understood the integrity embedded in the process, and I was more than willing to subscribe. She showed me how my subscription created a win-win situation for the musicians and for me. I'm a musicbed fan for life! Thank you, Olivia, for the explanations and for your patience with me.

This service is simply awful.
I upload few YouTube videos. One out of every two videos I upload triggers copyright claims for songs from my Musicbed subscription.
The worst part is that after spending a month editing a video and basing the entire edit on the music, I got another copyright claim.
The guy who's supposedly in customer service said they hadn't received any notification of copyright claims for the music I used, which, of course, belongs to them.
I insisted he resolve the issue, but he simply stopped responding.
I have proof and screenshots of everything I'm saying.
It's the worst service of its kind I've ever used.
Imagine paying over thirty dollars a month only to have copyright problems with the music you're paying for.
I will request to terminate my contract and I completely advise against this service. It's not worth it when there are other options that never give you problems.

To be honest, when I initially signed up I didn't realize it was a year contract. Maybe I missed some small print or something, but I felt a little roped into having to pay $100 a month for 12 months for a service I felt I was only going to use once. I ended up using it several times and was able to make up some of the money spent by charging the client in a line item for that months billing. When the year was up I meant to cancel, but somehow in the hustle and bustle of life I forgot. It auto-renewed and appeared I was roped in for another year. I promptly emailed explaining my situation and asked if I could still cancel, I even said I didn't need a refund for the first month they billed because truthfully it was my fault I forgot to cancel. They emailed me back immediately, they cancelled the account for me and even refunded me the money for the month that had auto-deducted already. All in all, amazing customer service, and I think that in and of itself these days is worthy of 5 stars. Customer experience is a lost art and I wish more businesses actually cared about servicing the customer, even when it's someone like me who no longer wishes to be a customer. I will say that if I ever had the need for a service like this again, I will 100% come back to Musicbed.

I was extremely satisfied with Musicbed's response time and customer service. I honestly did not expect to receive a response the same day, but to my surprise, Sydney and the Musicbed team replied very quickly and addressed my questions effectively. Their prompt assistance helped me complete my application smoothly and without any confusion. The entire process was efficient, professional, and much easier than I anticipated. Thank you to Sydney and the Musicbed team for the excellent support.

Musicbed provides lots of high quality music to use both professionally and for personal content creation. They have made it very easy to find music that fits your needs with many filtering options for genre, sub genre, moods, instruments, tone, and etc. The Musicbed support and AI assistants are very helpful to you and get the information you need quickly and efficiently.

Slow to respond to requests for quotes. Pricing is not transparent and varies dramatically. Impossible to predict and budget for, which leads to angry clients. Customer service is not helpful. Sometimes they want $50 for a license. Other times I've gotten a surprise quote as high as $10,000. Their music is no better than any of their competitors and they're slow and hard to work with.
