I recently hired Painter Adam to paint my external door, and I couldnât be happier with the results. The work was carried out by Brown, who was an absolute superstarâpolite, professional, and clearly experienced. He brought all the necessary equipment, picked up the paint himself, and didnât rush the job. Knowing it couldnât be finished in one day, he returned promptly to complete it to a high standard.

My initial designated painter suddenly lived miles away and would take him 4 hours to get to me. This was discovered on the actual start date! Painter Adam very kindly assigned another painter for a few days later. Again, they travelled from London to Surrey, by train! Later than agreed with them! When they did arrive we re went through what was to be done. This was 12 o'clock now. Out of 5 rooms only 1 is 90% OK. The others are shockingly awful. 1 not even started. Henry the painter agreed, stupidly by me, as it was now 10pm, to come back and address the issues. This was in March...... I am still waiting! With a lovely big paint stain in the middle of my living room.

We would like to clarify a few points from our side. Initially, a local painter who typically travels by van was assigned to your project. However, due to unforeseen circumstances and the distance involved, a replacement painter had to be arranged at short notice, which unfortunately led to the delay and travel by train.
We recognize this was not ideal and regret the disruption it caused to your plans.
Regarding the paint spill, we did register your claim and take it seriously. Our painters are instructed to use dust sheets and protective coverings, and we believe the issue may have occurred during the removal of those coverings â something we will review internally to prevent future incidents.
We offered two resolutions at the time: either for the painter to return and address the issues or to provide a discount. The discount was chosen, and we were under the impression that this resolved the matter. We now understand that this did not fully meet your expectations, and we sincerely regret any frustration this has caused.
Please reach out to us directly if you would be open to revisiting a solution â we are more than willing to explore how we can make this right for you.

Tout d'abord la personne que j'ai eue au téléphone parlait mal le français et surtout ne s'y connait absolument pas en peinture. Ce qui pose problÚme pour établir un devis.
Au final, ce dernier trÚs attractif a été multiplié par 6 par un artisan peu scrupuleux qui, de plus, a essayé de nous faire peur sur l'état de la piÚce à repeindre (tout s'est avéré faux aprÚs avoir fait appel à quelqu'un de sérieux et d'honnête sans lien avec Adam peinture). Le même artisan s'est montré également malhonnête dans son devis et a stipulé que comme le siÚge d'Adam Peinture ne payait pas d'impÎts en France, c'était un prix à saisir, voire "un prix comme pour un ami" (sic).
Nous avons refusé le devis et fait appel à un artisan honnête.
Deux conclusions : Adam peinture est une entreprise aux pratiques commerciales trÚs malhonnêtes qui consistent pour l'essentiel à promettre un devis trÚs bas afin d'accrocher le client, perdu dans la jungle du marché.
L'artisan qui est venu établir un devis exorbitant avait l'air bien rÎdé à l'exercice et son discours était édifiant autant que mensonger.
Bref, grosse arnaque que nous avons tenu à dénoncer.

This was the most terrible experience IâŠ
This was the most terrible experience I have ever had. Whilst organising the service was easy and the price was reasonable I had no clue what I was letting myself in for. The contractor, Lloyd, arrived promptly on the first day of painting did a full day and I was satisfied. I explained to him I head a post-builders clean booked in a few days and needed the work completed by then. He promised to be back bright and early the following day. When I arrived on site the following day, there was no sign of him. I texted and rang but there was no answer. A few hours later he responded apologising, saying that something personal had come up and he would be there the following day. I've turned up today, he's taken his stuff so clearly has no intention of returning but made no progress on the painting. He has also made a complete mess, with paint all over the floor and frankly shoddy work (no masking of the skirting or doors). The job is not finished and the cleaners arrive tomorrow - I now have no time to book anyone else in to finish the work and I will have to pay a fee to reschedule the cleaners. Do not use this company they clearly don't vet their tradespeople and as it has been a weekend I have been unable to contact anyone at painter Adam.
