Very professional

The staff and price were spot on.
My car was ready and waiting by the time I arrived!
Work was completed well

I gave this 5 stars because the guy who put my Winscreen washer motor in saved me $100.00 on the quote as he had put other motors in and knew where to go on my car. Which only took half an hour. So happy. Was a great Birthday gift.

Flexible in booking

1/ Was charge $90 to plug the computer and check the issue. Then nothing has been done to fix the issue (even if an issue with a thermostat was mentioned). Will have pay $90 again next time I bring the car for the same issue.
2/ I booked the car also to change 2 tyres, nothing has been done to be ready for when the car was on site. I was told I need to book for another visit. Such a waste of time due to bad management/organisation.

The lady who serviced my car was really helpful when it comes to what my car will need to have done down the track. She was very helpful.

I took my car to MyCar for a basic service and coolant change. The first time I drove it after getting home, the engine overheated within about 5 minutes. Roadside Assistance inspected it, saw no obvious leaks, and confirmed there was no coolant. I towed my car back to MyCar the next day. They re-did the coolant, supposedly ran all the necessary tests to ensure there were no air pockets, and confirmed there were no leaks.

However, the next day the expansion tank was empty again, and this time, I could see coolant splattered in the engine bay. Highly skeptical of their workmanship, I took my car to a different mechanic. They confirmed there were absolutely no leaks and re-did the coolant. Since then, I haven’t had any further issues. The second mechanic confirmed that MyCar had not replaced the coolant properly and left air pockets both times.

Additionally, MyCar staff didn’t clean up after working on my vehicle, leaving grease all over the coolant cap and oil around the oil filter. After taking my car to the second mechanic, I couldn’t believe how clean they left it.

While the staff at MyCar were friendly and happily tried to resolve it, they were not willing to acknowledge their mistake.

This experience leads me to question their skills and experience or assume they just don’t take any pride or care in their work. What’s worse is that their mistakes could have easily led to very costly repairs.

What can they do next time to improve?Do the job properly, clean up after their work, and own their mistakes. All I can say is think twice before taking your car here. I know I won’t be… ever again! Except to request reimbursement for the invoice from the second mechanic, who had to do what I originally paid MyCar to do.

It’s really concerning when you put your trust in someone’s work, and if it’s not done right, it could potentially be dangerous and damaging. I’m thankful that their failure this time didn’t result in anything serious.
