There professional and reasonably priced!

Rudest staff! Called to book my car in for a tyre to be fixed and the guy barely spoke to me and mumbled something about bring it in the next day. I said I couldn't get there in the morning and was going to ask for another day and he hung up on me! Have also been here before for a service, and while the car service was good, the staff were very rude and ignoring customers waiting in the office.

Great service, good pricing and friendly.

The service was great. I really liked the online booking process, especially the prepay system for a log book service.
Unfortunately the actual work on the vehicle left something to be desired. When the tyres were rotated, two of the wheel nuts on the front left were cross-threaded, and then driven on anyway. This seized them completely which cost me two new studs to replace the snapped off ones, and a new set of wheel nuts since two of them were ruined. After I discovered that, I checked the rest of the vehicle over and found they hadn't reported a leaking power steering rack in their inspection either.

Great service and follow up. On time.

Money came out of my account before service was done and more money required because they found more that needed to be done but no proof they needed to be done (two broken globes). Expensive wheel balance.
Asked for tyres to be pumped up because I didn’t get time to and tyre psi were low when picked up.

My car was serviced today by Dan at mycar in Clyde. The whole experience was so easy, from dropping off the car to pickup.
I was informed the moment the car was completed and could pick up early afternoon. I was informed of any issues over the day and could decide what actions I wanted to take. There were no surprises in the cost and I could earn fly buys points! I will happily return my business.

Had a service done at Mycar Clyde, Victoria. A couple of hours after dropping the car off, Vincent rang to tell me that there was a head gasket leak. I knew immediately that if this was the case, it would be quite expensive. Vincent told me it would be 6-7 hours labour and that he would get a quote for me that day. After the call ended I did some research as I was very suspicious. There were no symptoms of a head gasket leak - coolant leaking, coolant in the oil, white smoke from the exhaust, lack of power etc. When I went to pick up my car, I questioned Vincent some more about this so called head gasket leak. He asked the mechanic to show me, but all he could do was to point to the back of the engine. There was no compression test done to confirm this head gasket problem - apparently just a minor oil leak was enough for this diagnosis. Vincent said he would get me a quote that day. A week later I have not heard from him. Also what's interesting is that there was no mention of this head gasket problem on the invoice I received. If this was a major problem, then surely it would have been noted on the invoice to the customer. I have not been given any evidence of a head gasket leak from Vincent. The fact that he has failed to contact me 1 week after my service, suggests that he doesn't think there is a problem either. If I was less knowledgeable about cars then I probably would have accepted his diagnosis.
I have been a loyal MyCar and Kmart Tyre & Auto customer for many years and have never experienced anything like this before.
