Polite interactions with the guy servicing my car, service was quicker than expected with no nasty surprises under the hood, the screeching sound was fixed without drama. I'll use this service place again

It took a while, but no compromise with the safety of the car.

I called on a Saturday morning to see if a car I was thinking about buying could get booked in to have a check. The guys were very accommodating and were able to do it that day. Their checks were very far and everything was explained to me. The price was extremely reasonable as well. Great job all around ☺️

I was fitted in on short notice i.e I just turned up. They were friendly and helpful and offered great advice.

Cost of "premium service" was $298 didn't include air filter change.
Quoted $870 in additional repairs.
Repairs were air filter, wiper blades, brake pads for rear brakes and a head light globe.
Wouldn't provide an itemised quote telling me how much each part was and the labour required.
Sought second and third opinion and researched the cost of parts which at the most expensive came in at $268 and at most 2 hrs labour, if this is in fact the case they were going to charge me $300hr labour.
I contacted a replacement part supplier and changed my light globe, windscreen wipers and air filter for the grand total of $47.90 with discount in total all jobs took me 20 minutes, as my mechanical knowledge isn't as extensive as replacing brake pads and this is such a safety issue to do with no prior knowledge a local mechanic changed them for $112.50 and it took him 45 minutes to do.

I'll also add I bought 4 news tyres and ridiculously was charged a further $90 for a wheel alignment.

I don't believe these items were ever going to be this expensive, I believe they were hoping I was not knowledgeable enough to question it.
Would not recommend using this service, very disappointed as when the service was listed as Kmart tyre and auto I had no problems at all.

My experience from walking into MyCar depot and seeking their advice on tyres for my vehicle to organising a time to fit new tyres and the turnaround time was first class.

I could not speak more highly of the customer service I received from MyCar.
