The customer service was very poor, and it is unacceptable to overcharge for the product.

On 29/11/2024, I order 4 x Pirelli tyres as part of Black Friday Sale (50% off). The quote was $272 each plus $89 for wheel Alignment. Total price quoted was $1177.
The fitting of the tyres was scheduled for 23 Jan 2025.

On 22 Jan I called the branch to confirm the appointment. I was told the tyres order was cancelled and they will need to reorder them again. I should have been informed if this and I was not. No apologies were given.

The new appointment was scheduled for 24 Jan 2025 at 8.30 and I was told it would take 2 hours. I dropped off my vehicle at 8.30 for the fitting. Soon after a received a call from one of the team members and was told wrong tyres were ordered and they will have reordered them again. No apologies given and the team blamed the call centre team.

Th fitting appointment was rescheduled for following week. A day before the appointment I called the Gungahlin branch to confirm if the tyres had arrived. Again, I was told the tyres order were cancelled and the team had to order again. I was not informed and again no apologies were given; only blaming excuses. The team told me different tyres will have to be ordered.

I rescheduled the fitting appointment for the following week. I rang and got confirmation that the tyres had arrived. I asked for the costs for the different tyres, and they give me the same as the initial costs ($1177).

On 5/02/2025, the tyres were fitted. The tyres that were fitting costs $1916 plus $89. With the Black Friday Sale discount, the tyres should have costed $1047 (50% of $1916 plus $89). But I was charged $1177; given $828 discount rather than $958. I was overcharged $130.

I’ve had my car serviced there a couple times now. They are very quick, friendly professional and reliable. I felt like a valued customer and Hamish went above and beyond to help me to find solutions for a problem caused by the mechanics used by my insurance provider for an accident.

Today I went to Car Tyre& Auto Gungahlin 9:45 am because I had an emergency with a punched tire and the person who greeted me with a sour face told me that I could get an appointment for Friday. I think that having a punched tyre is a real emergency for everyone specifically for a pregnant woman and he was not able to find a way to help or at least show compassion for the situation that I am going through. I went there because it is a convenient place for the location but also because I have used the service there in the past and I thought that was really good. As I am 8 months pregnant I felt completely helpless that he was indifferent and not willing to help the customer. Honestly, I don't think I will not go back to that place as long as they continue to have that customer service where even a punched tyre is not considered an emergency and he can give me an appointment for two days later as if a car could be driven like that and in my pregnant state it doesn't even cross the employee mind.

Great team, flexible drop off times. Peace of mind knowing my car has been checked over and safe on the road.

Good experience

I booked, and paid for, my service online, which was so convenient. The close location of the store makes it very handy. The service itself took 75 minutes longer than I had expected, and given that it was just a general service, not log book, I'm not sure why. Still, it wasn't too much of an issue and staff were polite and friendly, as always.

I had no complaints about my car service, it was done quick and efficiently. The only issue I had, being new in town the directions to the shop was an issue. It might be useful to indicate on google that the store is located underground in the parking area.

Got 2 new tyres fitted and the staff were friendly and the service only took few hours. They also accept afterpay which really helps a lot!!

It was very easy to book an appointment. The My car team at Gungahlin facilitated me and my car we both are happy with the service provided.

Hey, they were open between Christmas and New Years Day, epic.
After wheel alignment, wheel balance and rotation the car drove so smoothly.
They are really nice people.

Friendly, prompt and reliable

Responded promptly to my call and located a tyre to suit my vehicle in a location that I could drive to on my temporary spare. My Car supplied and fitted the tyre on a Saturday morning between Boxing Day and New Year which allowed my wife and I to continue our journey with minimal interruption.

I have set an appointment for my vehicles tyres replacement. It was fast and was handled professionally.

Quick, responsive and transparent at Gungahlin store. Can get stock quickly. Even during peak holiday times. Excellent service, will go again and recommend to friends/family.

On time, honest service.

The last few times they’ve tried to have me add on a million extra costs, but this time was the worst. My partner literally changed my windshield wiper blades the day before. They tried to tell me I needed new ones in the list of heaps of other things. I don’t trust them anymore and won’t return. Sad, because it’s so conveniently located.
Not to mention I made an appointment and it basically meant nothing. I can understand being backed up to some extent, but calling the customer to reschedule would be a better use of both of our time.

A friendly and professional welcome from Lachlan and his team. Got my battery sorted on a 'walk in and wait'. Many customers coming and going at 8am and all were looked after promptly. Would recommend based on my first experience of myCar Gunghalin. o7
