I booked my car in for a logbook service online as well as a Rego check as well as a check of my engine light, in December 2025. I went back to collect my car and was told all fine with the engine light, as it was just a sensor and all fixed. I left and 1/2 an hour later the engine light came on. I called the manager who said ‘I guess we will have to fix it properly now’
When I challenged him about his comment he back tracked & he said bring it back in when you are nearby and we will have a look.
I took it straight back. No one looked at it and he said straight up you will need to take it to an auto electrician. After challenging him about this and asking him why I wasn’t told this when I picked it up a heated conversation continued from the Manager Con and myself. He yelled at me several times that the error code they found meant I need to take it to an auto electrician. I eventually left with a photo of job sheet with error code after I was visibly shaken by my experience. I took it to a nearby mechanic to ask them where I could find a good auto electrician. He asked to look at the error code and told me that code is due to an oxygen sensor and doesn’t need an auto electrician. He said bring it in tomorrow and we will do a diagnostic test to see what the problem is. They did this the next day and found it was indeed the oxygen sensor which was removed and replaced that day.
There are 2 reasons I have given 1 star.
1. The incredible rudeness of the manager and poor customer service
2. I was lied to about what was wrong and told the completely wrong thing.
I not only had a terrible experience with the manager, I had to take another 1/2 day off work to get my car fixed the next day when It should have been fixed correctly the day before.
I will never return to MyCar at Pennant Hills and would be reluctant to use MyCar in any other locations.

The manager is easy to talk to and he was informative about what needed to be done, cost involved and allowing time to make final decision.

Direct, competent, courteous service

*I never give 100% or in your case 5 stars nothing is perfect.
* customer service was excellent on the day.
* to book on line there is an auto fill in, there should be a line telling customer changes can only be done at shop. I wanted to change my email address to the current, which was done approx. 6 month ago. your system would not allow me to do this, consequently my first attempt failed would not allow me to submit, until I put in my old email address, not knowing if my booking had been accepted as the details sent to my OLD EMAIL ADDRESS I had no access.
* Perhaps your system should be set with no auto personal info, payment would be taken, however, this could happen on first use p.a. curbing customer frustration if they happen to use your system on weekends .
* locations - you need to put in mycar tyre and auto then location, can't say it refers to all locations.
* IN BLUE SEE MORE LOCATIONS: needs to be broken into Sates and Territories.
DID SOMEONE TEST TO SEE IF THERE WERE ANY HICKUPS?

Accessible. TyreCare plan saved money when I got a flat that needed replacing.

First time used for a log book service but they didn’t stamp the log book ( I had to point this out) or sticker when next service is due and also didnt explain what was

I had the best experience. Had booked online and paid for a tire replacement, but all I needed was tire patch. Was refunded the difference and only cost me $49. Was quick and easy. As a female, I’m so used to being overcharged for things I don’t need. I really appreciated the service and would highly recommend.
