As an expat in Germany, dealing with insurance paperwork can be stressful, especially if German isn’t your first language. While I initially arranged my ARAG policy with Bettina Ostermann, Iris Schüddekopf became my main point of contact and took care of everything related to my case and health insurance.

Iris helped me understand ARAG’s documentation, acted as an intermediary between me and ARAG, and handled the administrative steps with the insurer on my behalf. She was always kind and reassuring, but also extremely serious and professional, every question was answered clearly, and every step was handled with care and attention to detail.

If you’re an expat and you want someone who can guide you through the system, explain things in a human way, and reliably manage the communication with the insurer, I can genuinely recommend myhealthcarebroker.

I have been a customer here since 2019 when I moved to Germany. The process of finding a private insurance was fantastic, Bettina was great in describing all the choices, the tax benefits, etc. But the best part had yet to come. I shamefully never learned German to such a level that I felt comfortable dealing with my insurer directly, but Bettina and Iris worked miracles in supporting me there too, not only submitting my claims for me, but also checking what was the best way to handle them vs. getting a yearly rebate. And now that I became unemployed, Iris did a fantastic job guiding me through the process of transitioning from Private to Public Health insurance. Honestly, if I could give a sixth star, I would in a heartbeat!

I have been a client of ‘My HealthcareBroker’ for over 5 years now. I can state with complete confidence that the service has always been exceptional. They are more than knowledgeable; they are subject matter experts in what in my opinion is a complex field. Everything is explained clearly and professionally, often with options. The level of customer service is outstanding, always prompt, always courteous always supportive. Language support and patience is fantastic. Both Bettina and Iris are the best in what they do.

The team at myhealthcarebroker are absolutely fantastic. I have been a client since my day 1 in Germany(4.5 years ago). I unfortunately had an accident a few years ago and I was unsure what to do next. Despite being a weekend both Bettina and Iris responded almost immediately and guided me through next steps. The first broker we made an appointment with never bothered to show up or cancel. She sent emails instead and then passed us off to a different broker in the company. The new broker asked us a lot of questions and said we'd have insurance by "next week". After that week came and went, I emailed her and she said that she actually couldn't send the contract in last week, but she would have it by the end of this week. So we waited 2 more weeks and heard nothing. We're just a few weeks away from our move and still don't have health insurance! Just a mess to deal with. I have to look elsewhere now.

Exceptional service.
Not only great for finding a good health insurance provider but will continue to support throughout the period you are using the provider. Very useful to help navigate how the system works and when you don't speak German!

I'd dreaded medical claims because I heard it's a bureaucratic deep hole. But the reimbursement process with Iris was smooth, I got my first claim paid quickly.

I had a really nice experience with this company from the first moment I told them I need help. They took care of my problem imediately and they done the impossible and fixed my problem before I got any penalties. Bettina was even working on my problem while she was boarding for a flight. They sent me different health insurance deals and explained me all the details and differences between them and they found for me better prices than what I could find.
They are really professional and serious, they were extremely fast and they are actually really nice people that care and do their best to help and that is something really rare and hard to find.We need more people like them in our every day life :)
