My girlfriend and I recently stayed in this house. It was incredibly beautiful, convenient and comfortable.
The house is a true cave house built into the side of the mountain. It was like living in a Greek village. It was very quiet and peaceful, without any of the crowds that Santorini is infamous for. We heard birds, church bells and an occasional barking dog. That was it.
The house is very centrally located. It was only a 20 minute drive to any of the beaches and sites. Parking was not a problem - it has the use of a large parking lot close to the apartment. We rented a car and I highly recommend that you do so.
The house is fully equipped with everything that you need including a washing machine, Wi-Fi, coffee maker and full kitchen. We felt like we were at home.
This house is perfect if you want a romantic, tranquil visit to Santorini. It was magical.

Wir hatten 12 wunderschöne Tage im kleinen Haus am "Ende der Welt" bei Ravdoucha. Alles war so idyllisch, jedes noch so kleine Plätzchen hatte seinen eigenen Charme. Absolute Privatsphäre im Garten unter schattigen Bäumen. Im Haus gab es alles was man brauchte und der Kühlschrank war bei unserer Ankunft gefüllt mit herrlichem Obst und Gemüse. Selbst an alles, was man zum Frühstück braucht, war gedacht. Jeder Wunsch wurde sofort erfüllt. Die private Badestelle was das absolute Highlight. Liebevoll wurden wir von Eleni sogar in deutscher Sprache betreut. Wer Entspannung weitab vom Touristenrummel sucht und herrliche Natur ist dort absolut richtig. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Der Abschied fiel uns sehr schwer. Vielen lieben Dank!

Great view and good hospitality. We got fresh vegetables from Nikos garden and the place was very relaxing and quiet. With a car you can easily go to beautiful beaches and towns in the area. The house was very nice as well!

From the moment we arrived on the lusciously green expanse and sweet floral smelling with vast never ending views of the Mediterranean Sea of this villa in Ravdoucha, Crete we knew we had entered paradise! The location with its private dipping rock based access into the Mediterranean Sea was the most exquisite swims we have ever had! We stayed in Apartment No. 1 and it was sparkling clean, great beach themed decor and VERY comfortable bed! We also had the opportunity to see Apt 2 and it was likewise incredible with an open kitchen concept and beautiful in every aspect. Then there was the outdoor garden with bbq areas in every nook and cranny, fruit trees and flowers exploding with color and scent every step, couches and lounge chairs that it would make it impossible for you simply not to relax and take in the beauty around you and the calming feel of your every intake of the sea air with your every breath. Our host Eleni was for lack of a better word INCREDIBLE! She answered all our questions promptly and helped us with any issues that we had! I can’t recommend this amazing slice of heaven enough! Just hope we can enjoy it again and again in the years to come!

L'endroit est magnifique, avec la maison et ses terrasses donnant sur la mer. Crique privée dans les rochers idéale pour nager ou regarder les poissons.
Nickos et sa fille Eleni sont très accueillants et très attentionnés avec leurs résidants, le frigo est garnis et complété durant le séjour par les fruits et légumes tout frais.
L'extérieur de la maison est un second lieu de vie avec tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner, s'attabler ou s'installer au salon.
C'est un point de départ idéal pour les gorges de Samaria, les lagons de Balos et Elafonisi... et bien sur parfait aussi pour se reposer au calme avec une vue magnifique sur la baie de Kisamos.
Pour les amateurs de plongée sous marine, il y a un club de plongée juste de l'autre côté de la péninsule à Kolymbari au Royal Octopus Dive Center avec les conviviaux Georges et Panos.
Nous y sommes restés 3 semaines et n'hésiterons pas à y revenir.

The best place where you can stay in Creta. The apartment is very comfortable and it's placed in amazing zone surrounded by nature. The view from the garden it's a dream and a private place to swim on seaside is available. The owners are very kind and they made me feel like home from the first moment. Like a good neighbors every day they brought me a lot of typical food cooked by them or a lot of fruit and vegetable picked up in the owner's fields.

Amazing place with an incredible view

We had a fantastic time at Nikos' wonderful place in Ravdoucha and were welcomed by him and his daughter Eleni very warmheartedly, who brought us fresh vegetables, fruits and everything we could have needed. It's necessary to have a car if you stay there, because it is off the beaten track. Therefore we had quiet days and nights, only "disturbed" by the goats that passed our home and the sound of the waves underneath.

Our family stayed at Margarita’s beautiful villa in Kalo Chorio in Crete in August 2019 for 2 weeks. There are so many lovely things to say about our holiday, but first a special mention to Margarita who is so welcoming and generous. Many thanks to you Margarita for a very special holiday.
The villa is secluded with magnificent views and is beautifully decorated and spacious. Everything we needed was provided. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The boys particularly enjoyed the pool, feeding the cats and the football pitch just down the road. It is within an easy walk of the local village and a welcoming taverna with good local food and wine.
The local villages, shops and tavernas are a short drive away, as are the beaches and Heraklion and many other tourist spots. We found it to be a good location for exploring this region of Crete. Overall, a great holiday and thoroughly recommended.

"Ravdoucha- House on the beach "- We really enjoyed our stay in this villa just outside the small village of Ravdoucha. Angela and her mom were warmly welcomed us. They offered breakfast, ham, eggs, coffee,orange juice, raki, wine, olive oil, pasta etc...everything we needed. Loved the spacious and beautiful villa. It's only a few meters from the sea. There were balconies all around overlooking the sea and mountain and windows to let the light and fresh air in. The views from the villa are stunning at all times of the day and the fantastic sunset! The exterior and interior of the house with the shells, the tranquility,the sound of waves.. It's like in heaven!

We had a fabulous time staying at Sofia's house in Vothanos. Sofia was extremely hospitable and went out her way to make sure we had everything we needed for our holiday. Her recommendations on where to visit in Santorini were very helpful. The cave house is even better than the pictures suggest, spacious, cool, very clean with great outdoor space. No hesitation in recommending to others.

MyHouseToRent is a great service with some stunning properties. Theodore is really helpful, speaks so many languages, and booking is made super easy. We met him last time we were in Crete, and he had so much information and stories about the island and the people - we will keep coming back and using this service!
