The expiry dates for the Grenade bars you ordered (January 2025 and February 2025) were clearly stated on the product page right below the nutritional information. I included this detail specifically to ensure transparency for all customers, especially since the product was discounted during our Black Friday sale.

You placed your order on 26 November, and it was delivered on 3 December—well within the expected timeframe.
I’m disappointed that you felt this warranted such a low rating when everything about the product and delivery was in line with what was clearly advertised.

Running a small independent business is no small task, and during the Black Friday rush, my team and I worked 12-hour days to ensure every customer received their orders on time. Negative reviews like this can have a huge impact on small businesses like mine, and it’s disheartening to see this when the issue could have been resolved quickly with a simple message to me directly.

If the short shelf life was inconvenient for you, I would have gladly processed a free return or offered another resolution had you reached out. My goal is always to provide the best possible service, and I’m here to help if there’s anything I can do to make this right.

Delivery Timeframe: Your order was placed on Sunday evening, dispatched on Tuesday, and delivered within the quoted timeframe of 28 November–2 December. The service provided was well within expectations, and I’m confident you received excellent speed and reliability.

Black Friday Freebies: The freebies were explicitly marked as “available while supplies last” at the time of ordering. Unfortunately, due to overwhelming demand during the sale, the pill organiser you mentioned was unavailable. However, you still received a £10 Creatine and a £5 water bottle completely free with your order, which is fantastic value added to your purchase.

Customer Interaction: I understand it’s frustrating to miss out on an item you were hoping for. I did try to offer a solution during our WhatsApp exchange, such as adding extra goodies to your next order, but I see this wasn’t satisfactory for you.

Issue: Delivery expectations mismatch. Customer expected next-day delivery, which is not offered by DPD Home Delivery.

I’ve looked into your order, and I can see you selected DPD Home Delivery, which doesn’t guarantee next-day delivery. We don’t offer a next-day service on our site, and I’m sorry if this wasn’t clear when you placed your order. Here's a quick breakdown of the situation:

13th August: You placed your order and received a confirmation email.
14th August: Your payment was processed and allocated for dispatch.
16th August: The order was fulfilled and shipped via DPD Home Delivery.

I’ve issued a full refund for the £5.99 shipping fee, as the timing didn’t meet your expectations.
