Defective product and scam website

Defective product and scam website. I’ve been using the pupsicle regularly for one of my dogs for a few weeks when I noticed I could no longer unscrew and screw it back together. I contacted them because I didn’t have issues with the other 2 (I’d only used a handful of times) so I assumed it was defective. They replaced it and it’s been a couple weeks and so far so good. Now one of the older ones I’ve only used less than 10 times is having the exact same issue. These aren’t made to last.
On top of that, I am signed up for their auto delivery service. I went to cancel an item today and they offered me 50% off not to cancel. Not 50% off an item, just 50% off and if I hit the button it would be applied to my order. I clicked it and continued to still modify my order by skipping a few things. The total came to almost $80. It was supposed to ship in a week and it asked if I’d like to receive it sooner so I clicked the button saying yes to getting it now and instead of being directed to a checkout screen to review my order and see the 50% off applied so my order would be $40, it just said THANKS FOR YOU ORDER! My heart was racing. I thought, no problem, they’ve been helpful in the past, I’ll just email them. I contacted them immediately and after attempting to resolve this all morning, they left me hanging and just sent an automated confirmation of shipping! I was LIVID. I emailed them again, desperate to have this stopped since the last correspondence stated they would have a supervisor look into it and reach out. I got an email back fairly quickly basically stating, sorry, we can’t stop it, you’re going to be charged but you’re welcome to go through the hassle of returning it. This is fraud since I absolutely marked items to be skipped and they’re still being shipped, on top of never actually getting a screen to approve my purchase. I will NEVER do business with them again. Shady practices and no customer service number, you HAVE to email them.

UPDATE: after threatening them with the credit card dispute and a negative review, they have refunded 50% of my money and are offering to replace the defective pupsicle with “a newer model that doesn’t have the sticking problem”. So they are well aware it’s an issue but they only made the new model in one color. We’ll see if it works.

While the sticky Pupsicle defect was a very small number in our overall Pupsicles, we have figured out and fixed the issue, and are in the process of rolling out the new design. Since it was such a small number of affected units, we are replacing them for anyone who reaches out to report an issue with their original Pupsicle.

Thank you for your update letting us know how your conversation with our support team ended, we're glad to hear that your purchase was refunded to the amount that you had originally expected. The 50% offer to keep your subscription is set to only apply to subscription items, but I definitely understand how that may be unclear! We will bring this up with our ecomm team to make it easier to tell this in the future. Thank you for reporting that as an issue!

My dogs and I love their products!

My dogs and I love the pupsicle! It can be a little tricky to open occasionally, but totally worth the trouble (for us). We also use the new bite and brush and my dogs can’t get enough!

Worst dog item I've ever purchased

Worst dog item I've ever purchased. My golden retriever has a big tongue, and has a very hard time getting to the treat. It's very difficult to unscrew the thing unless you oil it, and even then it can be difficult. I have to take it apart so my dog can lick the saliva remnants out of it. I don't know but maybe the "treat ball" isn't large enough for the actual holder. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

great customer service and service recovery!!

I ordered the pupsicle, but recieved the toothbrushing chew toy by mistake. My irish setter puppy loved the chew toy we were sent, but I would have loved to have recieved the pupsicle. When i contacted customer service, they happily sent me a pupsicle to replace the incorrect order, and their team was wonderful to communicate with!

Product does not withstand Superchewers!

My 65 lb labradoodle just chews on the pupsicle container and it pops open - I maybe get 5 minutes of entertainment from this device :(. I bought the right sized device (up to 75lbs) but clearly no match for chewers!

Honestly not quite sure why the reviews


Honestly not quite sure why the reviews are overwhelmingly negative. I experienced an issue with my woof pupsicle and the company has been nothing but great about issuing a replacement and even asking for feedback for improvement. They make great quality products. Maybe there are delays due to the size of the company, but their products are great and effective.

Make the Pupsicle easier to open!!

The company does not stand behind its products. My dogs love the Pupsicle and unfortunately the design is faulty. It is impossible to open and they are unwilling to improve or respond to this issue. Please take responsibility for the quality and improve this product. We deserve it!

The product is complete junk

The product is complete junk. My 12 lb dog distroyed it within minutes and it did nothing for her teeth. They also charge you a "handling fee" to ship back the crappy product. Don't waste your money - you'll just be disappointed and mad.

Actually no, you guys just set people up with a subscription automatically and sneakily leave it up to the buyer to uncheck boxes and unsubscribe to an automatic renewal.

But yeah, please continue to paint the picture like I made a mistake and was not roped in to sketchy business practices. If I wanted to enroll in something, you can set your page up in a way to allow someone to click and CHOOSE that for themselves, not the other way around.

My email you are talking about is a college email that was literally deleted by my university after I graduated 15 years ago.

Your website has no customer service number and uses an AI bot to “troubleshoot” which lead to a waste of an hour sifting through nonsense to finally get directed to an email.

No actual easy access to initiate a return. You could look up an order by other info other than an email
..name, shipping address etc.

The fact that you spin your response in a way that paints me like some perpetually angry customer figure is actually insulting.

Run a remotely legitimate online business and you wouldn’t encounter the review I left, which is similar to many others on this page.

False Advertising! 😡

I purchased the Bite n' Brush for my dog. She is not a strong chewer. The website claims and I quote "The Bite n’ Brush is designed to be used by light chewers while supervised. If your dog is a power chewer, the Bite n’ Brush may not work for them—consider the Power Chewer Pupsicle, instead." She destroyed it! Here is their return policy We accept returns of all unopened and unused products within 30 days of receiving your order, and will provide a shipping label for the return. Once we receive the items back to our facility and determine that they are in ‘unopened and unused’ condition, the cost of the return label will be deducted from the total refund amount. The only product that is exempt from this policy is the Pupsicle toy, which comes with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee regardless of whether it has been used or not. Please note, any shipping costs paid for the initial order will not be refunded. Well, since it was opened and used, there is no refund. I do not recommend this company. A complete waste of money!

Despicable subscription scam artists

This scam company are absolutely despicable, I purchased a month's supply of joint supplements for my dog and somewhere hidden in the ordering process they signed me up for a monthly subscription for €25 per month which I absolutely did not and do not require and so far they have scammed me out of €75. Do not under any circumstances purchase from these charlatans as they are crooks.

"Bite 'n Brush" seemed like a good idea

I bought a Woof "Bite 'n Brush" for our 14 pound poodle mix at Whole Pets in Boulder. It seemed like a good idea and she really liked it, but unfortunately she chewed pieces off each end before we even got to the second pair of treat inserts. I brought it back and asked for a refund but I was told that Whole Pets could not do that since it was "damaged." I would suggest "defective." Perhaps this toy would work for gentle dogs, but I see many reviews that report the same issue. I wish I had read these reviews before I wasted my money on this.

My order still hasn’t been shipped


My order still hasn’t been shipped although I have a tracking number. Per USPS and Shop, they are still waiting to receive the order. It’s been like that for 2 weeks. There is no phone number to call and, when I email customer service, I only canned messages about “nationwide shipping volume” issues. Now, they are just ignoring all my emails, including a request for a refund. I am beyond frustrated.

I have ordered several items from this company and was happy with the product. Recently I ordered bully sticks for my dog’s holder but have not received it. It has been 3 1/2 weeks now and it still says it hasn’t shipped. I have emailed customer service 2 x now with only a response that it is coming???
I have asked for a refund now because I probably can get it sooner somewhere else.

Terrible customer service

Being constructive with this company, I have no issue w this!! I had a autoship with this company for months n months. When I decided to cancel this, that’s when the trouble started. I got a confirmation that it was cancelled only to get 2 more packages in the mail over a week later! Over 50 dollars for both! I emailed them immediately of course they said they never received my cancellation. I tried calling to speak to a actual human, of course no working number! We went back n fourth for weeks regarding me getting a prepaid postage to send both packages back. Then they said they will not take back any open packages!! I did not open either package where they got that from was crazy. I finally sent them a email saying that they have the worst customer service and they obviously need my money more than myself. DO NOT sign up for Autoship!! They will rip you off, I’ve read other reviews with the same issue!!!
