Krystal was absolutely incredible. She really went above and beyond. I donât usually bother leaving reviews, but I was truly blown away by how easy she made the whole process. I was very stressed and disorganised and I felt immediately at ease thanks to her helpfulness.
The entire experience from booking to storage was excellent- as was every single person I dealt with.
I actually used to work at a competing storage company and I know first hand a lot of the people you deal with there are not even close to pleasant, so it truly was a big relief. Krystal is an asset to your company- give this girl a raise.

I have had a storage unit with them for over a year, I contacted Christine to find a cheaper storage unit on upper level due to financial circumstances.
Christine encouraged me to go for a smaller unit than what I asked for to save more money and even offered for us to attempt to move into the smaller unit, and if that didnât work out her and her manager were happy for me to move into bigger one (if need).
These ladies are incredible. I am so grateful for their assistance and wonderful customer service during times like these.

Dealing with these guys, especially Alisha, has been the easiest process. I have never had to use storage before so I was definitely new to the process but she made it so easy and completely stress free. If anything I would have made her life more stressful because moving interstate is never a smooth ride.
The pricing also was so reasonable and overall they are just wonderful, polite and honest!

Edmonton Facility
I have had my furniture stored at the Edmonton Facility for over 3 years as I have moved a lot. There have been a few inspections to check on how my goods were and the place is impeccable. Amazingly clean and vermin free. The staff, particularly Heather has always been extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this facility.

My name is George and recently decided to rent a storage room from National Storage. Originally I intended to rent one from another company reason for it is closer to my home (Port Kennedy) but one of my friends told me to try National Storage because their customer service is good. He was not right at all because the customer service provided by the two ladies from the Rockingham unit is not good but outstandingly superb. During the whole process, they were exceptionally helpful, flexible, patient ( first time renting) and not just because these re their job but because of their values. I am really happy about my decision to choose NationalStorage and I will recommend your company (especially the Rockingham unit) for my all friends and colleagues in the NAVY.

Won't Have Anything To Do With Them Ever Again
We hired a U-Haul trailer to be picked up from their local branch on a Saturday and when we went to pick it up we were assured by the office assistant that we would be able to call their main offices and get an emergency pin to return it that Sunday because the office would be closed. All well and good, well we called to get the pin and it took us five different times to actually get through to someone and then we were told that because we weren't "actually customers" (as in we didn't have a storage unit) they couldn't give us the pin and thus couldn't let us in and told us that we'd have to return during office hours despite possibly racking up over $100 in late fees. Will never hire anything if it means I have to have anything to do with them ever again.

Hello Ann-Maree, Iâm writing to you as itâs become obvious that National Storage has failed to grasp the seriousness of this whole Covid 19 tragedy, I asked for consideration with financial reprieve on my rent for my container, the response I got was a token gesture with no substance of real care for my desperate plea for help. To suggest a 1 Month deferral and in that to make up that 1 Month with subsequent additional payments was disappointing to say the least. Now to receive a follow up letter that requests payment within 7 days or otherwise my credit rating will be affected is insulting and lacks any sense of empathy by National Storage. Your Company failed to show real consideration to someone like myself who has been struck a vicious blow as a result of world affairs and now finds themselves in a position of losing everything due to this Virus. National Storage is in denial over being able to care for their valued clients and Iâm deeply disappointed by their response and final offer for so called assistance. Actions taken by National Storage now force me to make some desperate and alternate arrangements as I just canât afford to continue with ongoing rentals as I have no choice as I must decide between food and shelter for myself or storage for my business tools, the virus gas taken my work and National Storage have now taken my tools of trade as I now must remove and disburse everything in storage to anyone i can find who will take them. I found the lovely staff at National Storage to be most pleasant and accommodating. If I was looking to employ someone I would not hesitate to offer Nav a position, or any of the other staff that I have had any dealings with.

Last year i put my furniture and personal items into storage as i was relocating i had approx 30k. I came back a few months later to discover i couldn't get into my locker and thought i must have brought the wrong key, after getting the lock cut off the roller door opened and i discovered my items stolen. People had cut the lock off stole my things and replaced a lock of their own. The whole insurance process has been an absolute joke and National storage had known about break ins a few months back locks cut, items stolen and locks replaced and didn't think to inform anyone to mabey check their units. I would never ever use a storage company again and to anyone that does, dont take out the minimum 5k insurance policy with them insure every item elsewhere. If you do have a complaint with the insurance it dosnt matter as they are insured through starr insurance in Singapore, which is not recognized through the Australian insurance ombudsman which i came to realise after going through months of trying to get the agreed 5k of insurance i was owed. None of my items where located and thousands of dollars out of pocket. Thanks national storage!
Terrible Service at Rothwell Site
We tried to rent a 9m x 3m open air lot for our boat at Rothwell site in Qld. Upon inspection, there was a big pile of gravel taking up 1.5m at the end of the lot which we were told was used for potholes. We asked for it to be moved so we could get the boat in and were told that the pile of gravel could not be moved. Only 7.5m was usable space but had to pay for 9m and was told the boat was not allowed to stick out the front. The young lady showing us around was no help whatsoever, just kept repeating we can't move it. Absolutely pointless and a huge waste of time. This was going to be long term storage but clearly they don't want our business.

As a female verging on 'elderly' I was really impressed by the helpful, clear explanation of everything I needed to know. I wasn't sure how big a space to rent but Todd helped me make the decision.
