It's a real company
This company sent me a letter about unclaimed funds. Happily they were correct. I went to moneysmart.gov.au and searched through the ASIC site, then through all the state registries linked from the ASIC site, and found the money. The company was correct down to the cent how much money I was owed from a payment sent to my old address.
I just didn't have to deal with them or give them 20% of the funds, nor share any personal details, because I submitted the claim direct to the state government site and they pay the amount in full - no middleman involved.
But thanks for alerting me.

Glad they sent me a letter otherwise I wouldn't have known I had money to claim - however you can go on moneysmart.gov.au and do it yourself, no need to pay the 20% fee
They also get a bit sassy as you can see from their reply

They contacted my by mail which is serious and rare these days. Usulay its just bills!
I checked if they are real and what they charge.
The 24% was hefty, but they found me and have done the research upfront.
After a phone call I dug up the evidence to double check that its worth my time.
Maurice also pointed out a few other helpful leads.
Companies are not charities and I'm happy to pay a fee for their work.

Also of note their Web page is not secured with HTTPS only HTTP
Others are offering 8% to Senior card holders.
