Sharad, Deepkul and the entire team at Tiger Safari India were excellent to work with; from early crafting of the safari to meet our interests through to the scheduling of guides and permits, every aspect was meticulously taken care of. We had amazing sightings of tigers and leopards at Pench National Park, and also saw another dozen mammal species and 70+ bird species. Our guide, Siyaram, was exceptional. I highly commend Tigers Safari India and hope to avail their services on a future wildlife safari in India.

We had such a great time on our tour!!!! I wanted to thank you, Deepkul, who was our lifeline and all of our guides- Janvi, Shane, Nerun, PD and Anuj. They were all full of enthusiasm and had a great passion for all of the wildlife in the parks. The accommodations were spectacular and varied. Agra and the Taj Mahal were made even more breathtaking with our guide Kazar (I hope I got his name right) with his wealth of knowledge and his photography skills. We got some really great photos with his expertise.

Though the beginning of the trip had a few bumps but with Deepkul’s help we were able to get back on track without missing much. Abhishek was very helpful in Delhi and getting us where we needed to be to direct us to the international terminal. Such a nice young man!

The trip was so exciting and varied. Between the many domestic flights and car drives we were able to experience everything India had to offer. We were able to see both urban and rural life. The countryside dotted with Hindu temples, the sacred cows having the right of way and the many towns and villages that dotted our routes. All so beautiful to witness. The urban areas were quite the opposite! The two lanes of traffic with four lanes of vehicles, tuk tuks and motor bikes-no stop lights or stop signs and the incessant honking. Pure organized chaos that everyone should experience once in their lives. It was exciting!

The people everywhere we met were so accommodating and kind. It was nice to say to everyone good morning and good evening with a smile. I took that home with me and find myself passing that on.

Finally there was the wildlife. That is what we came there for and we got it!! Our three week visit covered Gir, Pench, Kanha, Banhavgarh, Agra and Kaziranga. There were amazing times we were the only vehicle that saw a tiger or an elephant suddenly appeared from up a bank that was 30 feet from our vehicle, the elephant herd with a few babies that we were lucky enough to see cross a river and the many many lions we saw in Gir. We saw a male and female right at the roadside napping without a care about our amazement of them. One drive in Kazirangae we came upon a rhino which gave us pause to think he might want to chase us off but he decided to give us a few huffs and thought better of the idea. The bird life was splendid and numerous. We were lucky enough to see a sloth bear twice, once at night and once in the morning. We even got to see hoolock gibbon family complete with baby. The black faced langurs were one of my favorites. So human like as they sit and just watch the humans go by.

It went by so fast as it always does but it was a trip we will never forget and Nature Safari India made this trip of a lifetime full of memories we will forever cherish.

Our month long India tour met all our expectations! Sharad and staff were easy to communicate with and very kind! Varanasi was a really memorable time as we watched all the rituals and activities on the Ganges shore. The safaris were beautiful with tigers, elephants, many varieties of deer, monkeys, gorgeous birds and engaging guides! I highly recommend Nature Safari!

Nous ne le regrettons absolument pas! C'est une agence parfaitement efficace. Très réactive pour répondre à nos question, très bonne organisation de l'arrivée à l'aéroport ( accueil, transfert hôtel de Dehli, sympathie de notre réceptif) , à la réservation des vols intérieurs, et jusqu'à l'arrivée à notre hôtel très proche de la réserve. Tout était parfait jusqu'au choix des hôtels. Nous comptons repartir en Indes pour un autre safari et serons heureux de refaire appel à cette agence.

If you want to visit India don't look any further than Nature Safari India! From start to finish this company goes beyond anything that you would expect. Their website is great at showing you what they do and what you can expect. Their communication is unbelievable. No email went unanswered, no question felt like an imposition. I often felt that I was their only client even though I know they are working with many! Their attention to detail is impeccable and no request is too big or too small.
Once in India the service didn't stop! Everyone was professional and friendly and someone was always available to help which is even more important as a solo traveler. The places I stayed were better than I had hoped for and the staff at each place were helpful and accommodating. And then the game drives! All I can say is WOW! The Naturalists/Guides that I had seemed to know their parks -- and their tigers -- personally! I had hoped to see a tiger or two but almost every day brought another sighting and another adventure.
Do yourself a favor. If you're thinking about a tiger safari, and even if you're not, start by checking out Nature Safari India!

We just finished a tour with Sharad's team at Nature Safari India. It was an exceptional experience. We saw many tigers, leopards and much more. All the choices he made for us were perfect. Everything was better than expected. Hand offs from park to park, to and from airports..etc.. all seamless! What a professional and friendly business. Sharad had been handling our many questions and concerns for over a year, he was very patient and communication was always prompt. We would definitely use this company again.

the ATMs will only let you get about 9 or 10000 rupees at a time. So plan ahead!

From the planning stage to the trip itself, the organisation was great, correspondence was prompt, transport in India was reliable, hotels were good, some of the food exceptional, and the tiger, rhino and bird safari outstanding. No problems with eating the food and drinking the water. One day I am planning to do another trip with Nature Safari India.

Thank you so much for organising such a wonderful tiger safari for us.  Everything went perfectly and we are so impressed with the way everything was planned and put together. The vehicles were clean and spacious.
 
All of your representatives were so helpful and professional.  Protim picked us up from our hotel and transferred us to Delhi Airport. He came into the airport and helped us with the process and of course was waiting when we returned eager to hear all our safari stories. What a delight!

The accommodation at Kings Lodge was fantastic and all of the staff, without exception, were great. The accommodation was clean and upmarket-a beautiful place to retreat to each night. Every evening our dinner was presented outdoors under the stars and the food was exceptional. A selection of different Indian dishes which we were eager to try. There was also options for international cuisines. The chef came and spoke to us at every meal and made note of what we wanted for the next day. There was a local artist at the Lodge who had been painting animals, mainly tigers, since he was 14yo.  He was painting every day we were there, and we purchased one of his paintings. Very talented.

On the day we arrived we were lucky enough to go on the evening safari where we saw our first tiger and a herd of wild elephants.

 A special mention must go to Ravi, our guide on our Bandhavgarh Safari.  He was helpful and courteous, looked after us getting in and out of the vehicle, nothing was too much trouble and all with a smile.  He is very knowledgeable and answered our many many questions. When on safari he got us close to the tigers and other wildlife, he was always respectful of the wildlife.  We saw 5 tigers, along with numerous other animal sightings. Ravi consistently picked up on wildlife clues that led us to tiger spotting before anyone else. He was just better! His experience and expertise was very apparent. We cannot say enough about Ravi. 
 
Thank you once again for organising this exceptional experience and we will definitely use your services on our next trip. We have fallen in love with your country!

Went for tigers and saw them almost daily! Staff at 3 reserves friendly knowledgeable and made me feel they really wanted me to have a good experience

Deepkul from Nature Safari India arranged our 21 day Trip to India and Nepal, our focus was on Birding, Rhino and Red Panda, before the trip all communication was good and we were happy with the itinerary. Deepkul was very helpful.

All the arrangements from start to finish were well taken care of and everything flowed seamlessly, all transfers, flights, accommodations, park visits etc, the only thing we had to concern ourselves with was being "on time" for the scheduled activity.

During our trip in India we visited Nameri National Park for birding, Kaziranga NP for Rhino and birding, Maguri Beel for birding, Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary for the Gibbons and Birding, the bird guides and the guiding in general was excellent and we had great wildlife sightings as well as 260 bird species seen, even though its not the "best time of year" for Birding.

After India we travelled to Nepal for the Red Panda, all of these arrangements flowed seamlessly as well, we got to see 9 Red Panda during our stay in Nepal, definitely the highlight of our trip.

During February 2024 we did the Tigers, Taj and Temples trip as a couple and everything was perfect from start to finish.

From the moment we arrived in New Delhi we were in their competent hands.

This was truly a trip of a lifetime for us and I cannot recommend Nature Safari strongly enough. India is not an easy country to negotiate but they made it seem effortless. Thank you.

We have just returned from a fantastic 3 week/ 7 locations birdwatching tour in Southern India organised so well by Deepkul. The birding guides were remarkably experienced knowing all birds, their calls and habitats, keen to show us the endemics differing substantially in the various areas. The accomodation was ideal for us, mostly the quiet, calm, homely and clean places we were looking for rather than flash! Our driver Shaher could not have been more helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

We would like to thank Deepkul and his team for organising our very successful birding trip to north India. It could not fault the planning of the trip, we had great guides excellent accommodation and transport and driver who made the travel experience feel safe. In 10 days we achieve all our target species and fantastic views of tiger.

The staff from Nature Safari India were most helpful and organised the trip well to our advantage right from the time they picked us up from the airport.
The accommodation selected for us was excellent overall and we have little to complain about. The food was great but we would have liked more goat meat particularly in Assam where it was also disappointing that they couldn’t produce their world class Assam tea at breakfast. However these are minor things. We can say with certainty that none of us got sick or suffered from upset stomachs.
The wildlife safari experience was first class for seeing the target species we set out to observe, tigers and rhinos, we were lucky to even set eyes on the ‘golden tiger’ a mutation in colour which we saw in Kaziranga. An interesting note is that the guides in Assam were very much more knowledgeable than elsewhere. We suggested that the wildlife department offer better training and accreditation for safari guides. The bird safari guides were very knowledgeable about the birds species in their area. We were able to observe well over a hundred new bird species on the trip which is impressive.
We thank the tour company Nature Safari India for their efforts to make our trip a success with comfortable cars and accommodations and very friendly staff to support us during our visit. We are happy to recommend the company to anyone interested in doing a wildlife safari in India.

Wow where do we begin… the most incredible and unforgettable 2 week safari experience with Nature Safari India!
From our very first correspondence on email we were met with the highest level of customer service and help with putting our trip together. Sharad and Abhishek went absolutely above and beyond to make sure everything was organised perfectly down to the finest detail.
And that’s what stood out about this experience, the details. Everything was so well thought out and executed seamlessly for what we wanted to get out of the trip.

We started with a day tour in Delhi then covered 4 national parks in Central India; Pench, Khana, Banhavgah and Panna.
These parks took our breath away. We were lucky enough to have some close up 1 on 1 wildlife encounters that far exceeded any of our expectations. We had 14 individual tiger interactions, saw 3 leopards, sloth bears, wild dogs, an abundance of birdlife and so much more.
The naturalists were absolutely amazing, so knowledgeable and informative about not only the wildlife but the conservation efforts and community engagement for the parks we were visiting. They would try and stay away from the crowds of vehicles and instead would make sure we had the most intimate wildlife encounters we could. We had a few days at each park so it was beautiful to really get to know our guides more personally and build those relationships.

A special shoutout to Sunjay Gupta who was our naturalist at Banhavgah. He invited us to his home for the Diwali Festival to meet his family and understand how they celebrate this holy festival. Such a beautiful memory for us.

Every accomodation we stayed at was absolutely gorgeous and so unique!! All centred around ecotourism and minimal environment impact which we loved. Each place was special in its own way and the staff all went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of.

The food throughout the whole trip was out of this world. We have not eaten that well in our lives!! The highest quality fresh authentic Indian cuisine. We were in heaven.

In summary we simply could not say a bad word about our trip to India. It holds a very special place in our hearts and we thank everyone at Nature Safari India for making our time there so incredible.
We will most definitely be back!

Complete trip package. Excellent guides, accommodation, Safaris and specific knowledge related to India’s history, culture and wildlife.
Your company goes the extra mile to assist customers in the event of mishaps or exclusions for example of when leaving my mobile in the driver’s car or when another member of my group did not have an Indian adaptor plug.
The only improvement that I suggest would be to provide individuals with details of the day ahead’s itinerary for them to plan accordingly.

My wife and I have just returned from a 26 day wildlife safari arranged for us by Nature Safari India. We have used this company in the past (i.e., 2010 to 2015) for six different wildlife tours/safaris to India, three of these being with groups (numbering from 20 to 30 total people) of students and professors from my university. As was the case then, this most recent wildlife adventure to India wads as amazing as the previous ones, all primarily because of the outstanding services overseen and arranged for by Nature Safari India.

Our adventure began by arriving in New Delhi on 19 December. Having two full free days in this city before our wildlife adventure proper began, Nature Safari India arranged for us an impromptu visit to both the Okhla Bird Sanctuary in Uttarpradesh (an hour long drive from the downtown New Delhi) and, the following day, an an excursion to the famous Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple in Delhi. Our guides for both of these were top notch and greatly added to these enjoyable experiences.

Flying to Leh, Ledakh in northern India, we stayed at the Grand Dragon Hotel. With striking views of the Himalayas from the third story room we stayed in, this large marble and wood facility is a very upscale establishment. Our two nights there at about 9,000 feet elevation and were intended to help us become acclimated to the altitude. During the day, our driver took us out in search of wildlife in the nearby countryside. This enables us to see and get some very nice video and photographs of Urial, a high altitude sheep native to this area of India. I can only thank Nature Safari India for having gotten us such a good driver and wildlife guide.

We then headed off to the Snow leopard Lodge in Ulley, Ledakh. Here we saw another species of wild sheep as well as numerous birds. Again, our guides were absolutely first rate as they proved adept at finding us a number of bird species. With snow being in short supply this winter season (2023 - 2024), it proved very difficult to track the snow leopards and, hence, this season yielded few sightings compared to previous years. But this is no fault of Nature Safari India. indeed, my wife and I are eagerly anticipating returning to Ledakh (under the arrangements of Nature Safari India) in two years to try again try (and perhaps finally be successful!) in seeing this great feline predator of the high altitude. We just hope that snow levels in the Himalayas will have then returned to normal.

The remaining 17 days of our Indian wildlife adventure were spent visiting the Bharatapur Bird Santuary in Rajasthan, Manas National Park, Kaziranga National Park, and the Hollongapar Gibbon Sanctuary in Assam, India. The guides and lodging that Nature Safari India had arranged for us were all first rate. Indeed, we have Nature Safari india to therefore thanking in getting us great viewing/photograph/video opportunities for the followin g species: Hoolock gibbon, greater Asiatic one-horned rhinoceros, Asian Elephant, Asiatic wild buffalo, various deer and antelope species, a great range of bird (including six owl species, one of these being the dusky eagle owl), and Bengal tigers (two of these seen in Kaziranga National Park, a tiger reserve known for being very, very difficult in which to get a tiger sighting).

Thank you, Nature Safari India, for having phoned us along the way to inquire as to how the safari was progressing. We were always happy to report that it was amazing.

First, we found Nature Safari India through a web search when we got interested in a nature tour in India. We contacted them to get an offer for a birding trip, which we received in a very short time. Since we live in Germany, we haven’t had any experience with an Indian travel provider before. However, the professional and polite communication and the very detailed and transparent offer convinced us. So, we booked a birding and tiger trip to Satpura, Pench and Kanha. It turned out to be the right decision, and we enjoyed a great and amazingly well-organized trip. When we arrived at the airport or were changing locations the shuttle was always ready in time, so we could fully rely on the organization. Even short term modifications that we have requested were organized seamlessly. We had very nice lodges with highly motivated staff and enjoyed great food. Our naturalist guides were very knowledgeable and showed us a wide variety of bird species, tigers, and many other mammals. We also saw several butterflies, other insects, and spiders. All in all, Nature Safari India did a great job to make our stay in India a great experience, from the moment we arrived at the airport until we returned there to catch our flight home. We can definitely recommend them without any hesitation and will travel with them again when we come to India next time.

My husband and I just returned from two weeks in India where we visited two National Parks, Kanha and Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve and had several spectacular sightings among some other animals on both parks which were recommended by the most professional travel agent Mrs. Ishana Vats.
The trip was arranged by Nature Safari India and since my first contact, I knew I was dealing with a highly professional agency. It was very well designed, not only we visited the national parks, but we also included cultural places like Delhi, Agra, Rajasthan, Jaipur, and Varanasi, what a beautiful vacation, what a learning experience!

It was a phenomenal tiger safari experience at Bandhavgarh Reserve. Kudos to the Nature Safari India team, who made the entire trip a beautiful experience. The Bandhavgarh Reserve itself is a fantastic place to visit and watch wildlife. Sanjay Guptha, you are a unique human being; thank you so much for running the extra mile and always picking me up on time from the hotel. My stay at Bagh Tola is a memorable experience—a big thanks to Tony, Yash, and your team. One must experience delicious food at Bagh tola, and the excellent Bagh Tola team made my stay memorable.
