Nest did not take responsibility for sending inconsistent products

I bought two pendant lights from Nuura of the same model from Nest to have next to each other over my dining room table (expensive premium lights at total cost of ca GBP 1,800). When I receive the lights they are visibly different from each other with different bulb fittings, colour and glass. When I reached out to Nest to ask them to replace one they first blamed the supplier, then they said they could send a new one if I paid them 165 pounds for packaging (no mention of the fact that I had paid GBP 400+ to put the lights up and would likely have to pay the same amount again to take down the faulty one and replace it) - or they said I could get a voucher for 150 pounds. Given that I had spent 2,200 on a light installation that does not look good due to the fact that Nest has sent inconsistent products, I would have expected them to at least send a new light at no cost. Their customer service is very good at politeness but rather lousy at genuine service. I’m afraid I will never return as a customer to Nest and I cannot recommend anyone to buy anything from them. Hope they will change their attitude going forward.

We understand you are unhappy and we want you to know we are listening and will always help where possible.
I’ve spoken with our Claims Co-ordinators to review your case. There are times when a brand will make changes to the production of a product, this unfortunately is beyond our control. Whilst these changes are usually communicated to us to allow us to change our processes accordingly, this one was missed which we apologise for.
We are a small independent company, with a small team. Our warehouse team do their best to quality check all orders, however, as we were not aware of the change to production, neither were our team, therefore the difference in the internal fitting of the lamp (bulb) holder was not picked up on when checks took place.
You mentioned in this review that the colour and glass are also different between the lights, I’m not sure if you are aware, but this was not highlighted to us previously. I am very sorry to hear this, please provide images demonstrating this to our customer care team via info@nest.co.uk.
Any wrong goods should not be installed as per our terms, we ask that they are returned to us in their original condition and packaging and a replacement or refund will be provided. The installation of the lights is an acceptance of the products, we know however you did not accept these and wanted to exchange and it is unclear from your communications why the lights were installed if the finish was not correct.
We have not refused to replace the light for you as we want to help, however, charges apply for the reasons outlined by our Claims Co-ordinator. I am sorry that you feel the help we have given has not lived up to your expectation.
We are more than happy to assist you with your preference of replacing the item, however, we do understand that due to the costs involved in un-installing the current fitting as mentioned in your review, this may not be the favoured option.
I hope that in the future you can find it in your heart to give us another chance as we would love the chance to change your mind about us.
If we do not have the opportunity to work with you again in the future, we wish you all the very best.

I had a broken chair that I needed a part for and it was a brand that Nest stocked. The customer service was amazing, so helpful. They have helped me source the part I needed, been incredibly responsive and for something that is of no value to them. Thank you so much, incredible customer service.

Great customer service

Accidentally sent my Google nest thermostat enquiry to a furniture company, but received a prompt and very helpful reply directing me to the right place. Great customer service- many thanks and I’ll be sure to browse your offerings next time I’m in the market for a chair.

Impressive Customer Service

I had mistakenly E-mailed this company, thinking it was Nest Thermostat (Google). I received a prompt and a very helpful reply by return informing me that they were a furniture company.
With such an impressive customer service, I certainly would favour this company for quality furniture purchase.

Excellent products - excellent service - what more could you want

We love the products and they are much admired. Our Eames chairs - fab colours and the clock too. I cant get over how comfortable the chairs are and the free cushions such a bonus. The help we had along the way was excellent. Ashlee and Becky responded immediately, kept us up to date with delivery times and organised for our delivery to be held securely while we had a month away.

Fantastic company. Great experience every time.

I had an excellent customer service experience with Fatima. She was professional and helped me with an online order that I had made a mistake with. The furniture is stunning, and the prices are great, but it is the customer service that stands out for me!
