NetXMS works great with the caveat that vlans are shown available in interfaces they are not allowed/tagged in, which is contrary to other network monitoring systems, and has been and issue for years.

E' stata utilizzata per monitorare lo stato di funzionamento di datalogger installati nelle stazioni della qualità dell'aria e per il monitoraggio del server centrale. E' stata integrata all'interno del sistema informativo ambientale con minimo sforzo e risultati immediati

NetXMS tiene muchas fortalezas en comparación a otras herramientas de Monitoreo, de hecho, me atrevo a decir con total confianza que es más que una herramienta de monitoreo. A continuación, algunos de los puntos que me parecen más relevantes:

Simplicidad: La herramienta es muy sencilla de configurar, siguiendo pocos pasos tendrás una herramienta potente que te permitirá monitorear prácticamente cualquier indicador de tus sistemas críticos.

OpenSource: La filosofía "código abierto" de NetXMS es otra característica que suma puntos extras en materia de seguridad (el código puede ser revisado por especialistas de ciberseguridad para detectar y mitigar brechas de seguridad) y robustez (siempre se agregan funcionalidades de grado empresarial que no se encuentran en otras herramientas).

Arquitectura: NetXMS ha sido diseñado sobre una arquitectura descentralizada, lo que confiere gran facilidad al momento de requerir escalabilidad. Seguridad al permitir separar el frontend del backend, requisito fundamental en entornos financieros que deben cumplir con la normativa PCI DSS, y hace uso de algoritmos de cifrado vanguardistas.

Versatilidad: Sin importar el tipo de implementación, la plataforma puede adaptarse para monitorear lo que sea, no importa si los dispositivos se encuentran detrás de una NAT o si se desea monitorear sesores IoT o dispositivos de redes OT, NetXMS siempre podrá monitorear los activos críticos de la empresa.

Funcionalidades: Es sorprendente cómo NetXMS cuenta con funcionalidades muy útiles e indispensables que ayudan al momento de resolver problemas (troubleshooting), no sólo monitorea los dispositivos que nosotros queramos, también permite alertar por medio de la revisión de logs (syslog o cualquier otro), generar mapas de la topología de la red, descubrir donde se encuentran conectados los dispositivos que estemos buscando, etc.

Soporte: El core de NetXMS es completamente gratuito, esto permite contar con soporte por parte de la comunidad NetXMS, además, en caso de requerir personalizaciones o asistencia técnica de primer nivel directamente del fabricante, NetXMS también cuenta con subscripciones de soporte de pago con las cuales se podrá disponer de mejores tiempos de respuesta y la capacidad de adaptar la herramienta a cualquier necesidad de la empresa.

Sin lugar a duda estas son algunas de las muchas razones por las cuales recomiendo el uso de NetXMS.

NetXMS is by far the most flexible NMS I have seen. After trying just about all of the Paid/Opensource NMS's out there I felt NetXMS gave me full control of what I wanted to do. The support is top tier. Even when there was no topology support for a Moxa switch I was using I sent a message to the dev and setup remote access for that switch and within days he build a driver. I have never received that kind of support with any other product

We have been using NetXMS to monitor our network of more than 3500 Network Devices for the last 5+ Years, Could not ask for anything better in an NMS that just Works!

I have been using/learning Netxms for the past year or two. Have tried several other monitoring systems previously but it never did monitoring like netxms with simple dashboards and setup and templating that's GR8!. Netxms has the knobs where you expect them. The community and Developers on the Forums are the best of any project I have used! I have been heading the country wide network for a audit firm with Global links.

It does everything that I need it to do, and whole lot of other things that I want it to do - it even does that that I didn't know I needed until I had it.
When I wanted a new feature, it was provided incredibly swiftly. The developers and engineers are friendly and bend over backward to help. This is the best product that I currently use.

NETXMS is a great monitoring system.

Netxms is a good monitoring system that has a large number of features and is constantly being improved. Of the advantages - the presence of Russian-speaking and English-speaking communities for the exchange of information and contact with developers.
