I knew from the first moment of meeting Dr Laura that we were in the right place to find help and support for my daughter at school. Her calming and friendly approach puts you immediately at ease as you chat away. I came away from that first appointment feeling lighter and as though I had left my heavy soaked coat that I had been wearing for many years hanging up in her room. I felt truly listened to and reassured after several year's of being ignored by the middle school staff.
My 13 year old daughter felt at ease talking to her also and the whole process of meetings and assessments in the consultation room were communicated extremely well throughout. We were given a diagnostic report ready to hand to the high school together with recommendations on how they can make particular adjustments to help her thrive in school. Our experience with Neuronest has been amazing. Laura is very warm and welcoming and put my daughter at ease. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable and approachable. The report she produced for us is very detailed and extensive. She communicated with us along the way and we really couldn't have asked for anything more. After previously reaching an impasse with the NHS and not being heard, Laura has been able to show us just how affected my daughter is and how much she can now benefit from understanding her brain moving forward. To me as a parent who has watched my daughter struggle for years, this is priceless. My daughter and I will be sad to say goodbye when the process is fully complete as both think she is lovely! We would definitely recommend Laura and Neuronest to others.

I could not recommend Laura and team more. We started this process with our teenage daughter a little anxious but felt instantly at ease, heard and held. Every interaction and communication is natural, warm and friendly. Totally professional with obvious expertise.

Dr Laura Surley is simply amazing. She goes above and beyond, to the point where I actually feel like I should be paying her more. Her free screening process really helps to understand if there is enough evidence to proceed and for her to recommend the right route. This meant we could go into the paid assessment with the confidence that it was necessary and that we were on the right path. The assessment was incredibly thorough, but also cathartic in many ways. Laura is so kind and caring, it didn't feel stressful or upsetting for any of us and whilst she was meeting all the criteria that was needed, the actual meeting felt more like a relaxed discussion in her cosy living room style office. The report she has produced is excellent, she works hard to ensure she includes everything the NHS will want to see. I can only imagine how long it must take her to write these reports, and you can tell she puts her heart and soul into them. The nicest thing, which we didn't expect was a lovely personalised letter she wrote my son, which was so nice it brought tears to my eyes. This is not the kind of service you will find with a 'production line' online diagnosis service. She is worth every penny, and more. We haven't had our feedback or post-diagnostic meetings yet, but I know they will be great, and I just feel so lucky to have found Neuronest.

Laura, is fantastic. She was so helpful and supported us through the process of an ADHD assessment for my 16 year old son. She engaged so well with him, and helped him through a difficult time. I would highly recommend her.

Laura and her team have been so supportive, working with her has been like having a weight off my shoulders. The team have gone above and beyond to complete my daughter's assessment, and made her so comfortable throughout the process. I would strongly recommend them!

We have had the most straightforward, compassionate and thorough assessment by Laura. Our daughter has a complicated physical health presentation associated with autism and ADHD. Laura took a really holistic view of all our daughter’s conditions and not only did a really thorough assessment at times and dates to suit us but also helped us find a more local trained clinical to complete the in -person testing who she then worked collaboratively with to think about the results. The report considered the impact of the various conditions on one another, which is so important as her ADHD cannot be treated in isolation of her other issues. The report was clear and concise and she met with us to feedback and make recommendations around school accommodations and medication prescribing and again has linked us with a suitable professional to do this.
Throughout the process, Laura has gone well above and beyond our expectations and her practice was always transparent and ethical and very reasonably priced.

I cannot recommend Laura enough. She kept me at the heart of everything she did; she listened, approached my diagnosis with nothing but compassion and understanding at every stage, and provided a detailed breakdown of everything pertaining to my diagnosis (Adhd/autism combo) in the formal document provided at the end. Said document included everything discussed in our sessions, the results of every test, the criteria i needed to meet and how i met it, and even suggestions on how to best support my neurodivergent braincell and family going forward. The whole report was so very 'me' it really made me teary eyed, and the letter she addressed to me within it was also heartfelt and lovely.
All in all, I cannot recommend NeuroNest enough. I have never been treated with such genuine care by a professional in my life. Instead of feeling like an animal at the zoo, being poked and prodded, I instead actually was treated like a human being, and for that I will be forever grateful.

First word that comes to mind after today’s appointment: heard.

From the moment we met Emma, we felt completely at ease — she was wonderful, the perfect stranger who instantly made us feel comfortable. The space at NeuroNest is calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed to help you open up.

Our session flowed so naturally. We talked openly and freely from the very start, and throughout, we felt truly heard. There was no judgment, no sense of right or wrong — just understanding, balance, and genuine listening.

It was a fantastic experience, far beyond what we had hoped for. The session (1st consultation) helped us recognise that while there may be some neurodivergence present, we were also reminded that our daughter is only six — a bright, beautiful little girl with her own unique quirks. We left feeling proud, reassured, and confident that we’re doing the right things for her.

Honestly, just wonderful. We trust Emma and Laura completely — their authenticity and genuine care shine through. It’s clear they truly have the best interests of both the child and the family at heart.

I am so pleased I discovered Neuronest and chose Laura to guide me through my recent assessment process. From the minute I met Laura I felt at ease, despite how scary the process seemed.
