We got there in the end. Overall, we felt communication along the journey for exchange was quite poor. We had no idea who from the team was looking after our buy and sell directly. We constantly were the ones chasing for updates.
A simple email to confirm who on the team is best to contact, along with a weekly update email would have been great to know what was progressing and what was holding things up and would have saved a lot of time and unnecessary stress from our side as the client.

Our service request concerned setting up Interim Power of Attorney arrangements for my wife and I. We called in at the NF&L office in Billericay on 9th May to enquire about the process and were dealt with by Meghan Sparks, one of the lawyers there. Meghan explained the procedure clearly to us and answered our questions in a calm and reassuring manner. We went ahead and have signed the necessary documents this morning, again with sensitive and thorough support from Meghan. This is an emotional decision for us to take and a complex administrative procedure to go through. Meghan handled it perfectly and we would have no hesitation in recommending her, and NF&L, to friends who might be considering setting up Interim Power of Attorney arrangements in their lives.

Straight forward purchase of the propoerty but any questions were answered quickly and efficient.

Carol, Chloe & the rest of Team Magna have been really helpful in supporting us in the process of purchasing our first home, which is a new build.

We first got multiple quotes from legal firms as we selected who to use and NFL quoted the cheapest and then stuck to their quoted price.

There were added time constraints of the new Stamp Duty Threshold for first time buyers coming into effect, which made it busier than usual for them and also meant our process had to be expedited, which they still managed to complete process successfully.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone else

Based on our developer's recommendation, we made a quick decision to change solicitors as we were promised NFL could deal with our new build house purchase at speed. We are so glad we did. NFL were fantastic from start to finish. It was great to see them using portals and online systems to upload/share key information (rather than clumsy word documents and emails) and Charlotte Murphy and the team were highly personable, professional and efficient. Between Charlotte and the developer's progression team they made the seemingly impossible possible: we completed within 15 days of instructing NFL and as a consequence we didn't lose our Early Repayment Charge on the mortgage (we completed on the 90th day deadline!). A side benefit of using NFL was they were fantastic value as well. Overall, at the end of a long, stressful and hectic house selling/purchasing journey, NFL restored my faith in conveyancing, got us into a home weeks before I thought we could be and saved us £1000s.
