Node Dublin - Co Living
Node offers very nice co-living spaces but at a high premium. Positive side is that you have opportunities to network with many professionals and people from around the world. Downside of my experience at Node were:
1. Lack of working space inside apartment. Living room doesn’t have enough space to allow 2 people to sit and work together.
2. Wifi security - degraded wifi security methods were in use. Knowing that this data can be eavesdropped very easily, no efforts were made by network service provider to change a mere setting on central infrastructure that was serving internet in apartments.
3. Expense - rental prices sought by Node are very high for the spaces offered on rent. I was able to find a place at 30% less rental and 40% more living space.

Thank you for your feedback.
We can confirm that our wi-fi network has been updated and upgraded following the latest recommendations from experts and to date we have not experienced any issues.
As for the working space, with the change of resident's demands and adapting to the current circumstances where many residents need to work from home, we are now offering desks in those unit where we can fit one. Furthermore, many of our residents use the Resident's Lounge as a coworking space where they can not only work but also interact and network.

Pricey
Nice community, great for when there’s lockdown - at least you’re able to chat to friendly neighbours etc. Cant seem to justify the rental price especially at the Dublin location given the size of the apartment and the fact that it is on a sharing basis.

In regards to your comments about the price, indeed we're a more premium offer in Dublin; our building is located in Dublin 2 just a stone throw away from Fitzwilliam Square, our apartments are uniquely furnished, fitted with high end appliances and they are part of a building with heritage, character and modern touches.
On top of it all, as you mentioned, we offer not just a great place to call home, but a community of likeminded people where we foster connections and a sense of belonging.

Not worth it
It was nice loving there for the first while. But there was a certain aggression about the rent payment it is not my fault that it does not reach your account on time and I had to screen shot my bank payment on several occasions. Also at the end while we were leaving the viewing times were crazy and there was zero consideration. It was not the best living experience if am being honest.

We believe you'll be glad to hear that in the 2 years since you left Node, we have worked very hard to improve our communication and how we reach out about missed rent payments.
Also, especially during the current pandemic times, we have reduced the viewings and carry most of them virtually, allowing us to look after our residents and interested parties health and safety.
