My car went in for a timing belt change but sadly needed a new engine the guys at northwest engines reassured me that it will be sorted after that and I honestly can’t fault them great customer service and a overall great company will highly recommend then and will be return in the future

Bought a engine of northwest engines last Friday and it was here for Wednesday and from the get go I cannot fault these guys on anything , customer service is great , explain everything to you , have patience when you have loads of questions , ran into quite a problem with with my order which they are rectifying with no issues about it , heard nothing but good things about them they now have my car so hopefully they have it ready asap would definitely recommend anyone and everyone to them and if your considering using them do it , fair priced and very knowledgeable staff, might be a 4 hour drive for me but I will definitely use them for other stuff

Quite simply the best people I’ve ever used for my fiesta had a new engine oil change and a service in the last two years dead straight no nonsense and really helpful

Took my Audi to Northwest engines back in May time after being told I needed a new engine, well it definitely did not need a new engine.. they was quick and efficient with getting my car sorted and back on the road. Thank you x

Ford focus 1.0,‘16 plate with 80,000 miles. I went for a full wet belt/water pump/oil and filter, scoop clean and service option following recommendations on FB and other social media. Communications were good from the start but had to wait over a month as they are so busy. Got there on time and met the team. Good chat and banter and left them to it. Got call next day a lot earlier than expected saying all was done and could collect my car. On arrival got to talk to the mechanic that did the job and he explained the process and showed me all that had been done. All old bits had been kept for me to see. Paperwork all done and car goes like a clock. Full marks to all, great service. If I had to make one comment it would be that it would have been nice to have the car registration number on the bill / invoice to show it related to my car which is important for the vehicle paperwork file - just a minor crib.

Easy from start to finish give me different options for engine change great price well worth the wait to get my car fixed correctly all way through engine change let me know
Of possible parts that need attention give me price to fix with minimal labour cost compared to other garages due to engine been already out. When picked car up met two lovely office staff smile on their faces and welcoming this company couldn’t do enough for you go above and beyond 100% recommend for ford focus eco boost engine change

I found Northwest Engines online after trying to find somebody who would do my timing belt and waterpump, after being quoted £2500 from Ford! 🤯.
After learning that they are also an ecoboost specialist, I phoned and got my car booked in with them.

They honestly couldn't be better, they quoted me less than half the price of Ford, and kept me informed every step of the way; as they found out that my flywheel and clutch needed replacing and also the turbo, and there was absolutely no obligation or pressure to have this done.

I decided to go ahead with getting everything sorted so that I now know the car is okay, and should last now for a good few years.

Faultless service , extremely knowledgeable, the girls on reception are so lovely friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble.

Amazing service. I contacted North West Engines via Facebook as my Ford Fiesta Ecoboost had been sat off road for almost 12 months. After being offered peanuts to scrap it I decided I would put a bit of money in to get more back. At £1500 for the engine replacement and a couple hundred for extra bits I agreed to, my car is back running again. It was my first ever car and the sentimental value persuaded me to look into repairs but it was North West Engines who sealed the deal with their fair pricing, brilliant reviews, excellent communication and helpful staff. I had to wait a short while for my booking date to come around and that to meant they weren’t short of business which is always good to see when looking for the best place to get something done. It was completed faster than I expected and they helped me with collection of the vehicle too. They also advised me about one of my tyres and rightly so said tyre was below the legal limit. 5 star service from start to finish! Thank you North West Engines for getting my baby back on the road again ♡

The wet belt on my ford focus snapped in November 2022, i placed a deposit on an engine from a different company which never arrived.
In march 2023 I found northwest engines in Rochdale Manchester on Facebook I contacted them and they told me the best thing to do is get another engine fitted. The earliest booking was April 27 they arranged to get car picked up.
Once the engine was out they informed me that the clutch will need replacing they gave me a price which was less than half the price that you would pay at a clutch specialist.
When I got the car back it drove like it just came out of a showroom.
These guys have worked their asses off they have done a very good job in rebuilding my engine and I would like to say a big thank you to them for their hard work.
As from now anything under that bonet will be repaired and replaced by them.

I was advised by this company to change the wet belt due to my vehicles low milage and eight year age. Such is the popularity of the company I had to wait from April until 19th June to get it in.

The vehicle was taken In at 0930 on the 19th June and returned the following da at 1100. I can't over heap praise the service given to me. I strongly recommend this company for any Ford Ecoboost work especially the dreaded wet belt replacement.

I booked my 1.0 Ecoboost Focus in with Northwest Engines for the cambelt and water pump after I'd read many great comments about on some Facebook groups. Due to their expertise in this area there is a bit of a waiting time, but this is reflected in their great service and price.

The time it takes to do this job is longer than a regular belt due to its design, so it's certainly not a few hours work. I was kept informed of the time scales throughout. Due to my car having high milage it was noticed that the clutch would benefit from being replaced.

There was no pressure to do this at any point. I was given a cost of the 4 replacement parts and the labour was lower than I expecte, as the engine had been removed as the mechanic finds it easier to change the belts. It was a no brainer given I had a suspected it might need doing at 157k. They managed to get the parts and fit them, staying an hour later to finish the job so I didn't have to do another overnight stay.

The old parts were available to see so they are open and honest in their approach. I'll certainly use them again for any Ecoboost engine work or a replacement engine should the need arise. Highly recommended and worth travelling to if you are not close by, as it will still cost less than a trip to a dealer, who might not have done many belt changes due to their costs.

Just like to write a review to say thank you to everyone at Northwest Engines. Went in for the wetbelt and waterpump changed on my 2013 1L focus everyone was super friendly and i got updates through the day via wattsapp. Really glad i brought my car to them to do the work.

I've recently had the wet belt changed on my Focus; at the same time I had a new Catalytic Convertor fitted.

Where do I start. My Sons 63 Plate Ford Fiesta Ecoboost 1.0 had the dreaded engine management warning light come on the 23rd April. Fearing the worst I contacted North West Engines after a family member read the codes which pointed to issues with the timing belt/wet belt. They were amazing from start to finish.... they took the car in the next day once it had been dropped off by the breakdown conpany and managed to fit my Sons car in for the complete wetbelt work/job and water pump replacement whilst having work already scheduled in. Nothing was ever too much trouble for these guys. I was kept regularly informed of progress and once the work was completed was informed. No hidden costs or charges and my Son now has his car back which he says drives better than ever 😁👍.
Everything about North West Engines is 1st class from the mechanics, the setup , their professional yet friendly attitude and of course all the girls in admin/reception.

4th vehicle collected today from Northwest Engines and again another faultless service. I run a small sales pitch and have come accross a few of these ecoboost engines. As a small business we have to keep costs low and Northwest engines have really helped out each time. Iv dealt with a lot of garages that give you one price and when it’s time to collect it’s almost doubled. Never had any of this with this company. The ladies in the office are lovely and very knowledgeable about these engines which it’s nice to see. Overall brilliant, highly recommended.

beginning to end. That should say it all but words don't discribe the service i recieved. i'm a grumpy old get who don't believe in doing reviews. i pay for a service i expect perfection otherwise i wouldn't pay for it.

Northwest engines exceeded my expectations even if i had paid more.
Right from the first phone call enquiring every question was answered in detail, stuff was explained i hadn't thought of. i wasn't rushed or made to feel uncomfortable if i didn't understand summat and they had to explain again.

All work was carried out within time frame given. i'm inpatient n emailed couple of times to check progress. Got prompt answer to my questions
When i collected my car with recon engine fitted. How i should drive properly to wear in the new engine was explained in detail, the wearing in bit did concern me but when i left was confident i knew what i was supposed to do and was also given written instructions as well. At one point while wearing in i thought i heard summat strange so i took it back to northwest engines who checked it over straight away there n then explaining alsorts of stuff i can't remember now.

I have AA parts n garage cover, Northwest engines completed all the paperwork and communications with the AA I didn’t have to lift a finger. Unfortunately I have a naff black box type insurance they kept sending me emails saying we arnt recieving data, Northwest engines sent several emails answering all my insurance companies petty questions, and believe me there was quite a few.

I completed the 1000 mile running period and returned for the required service. My new engines running sweet as a nut better than i hoped for. I can't thank everyone at northwest engines office staff mechanics enough your customer service exceeded my expectations above n beyond THANKYOUS

if i read this review i'd think it's a mate or relative. cynical old git me but nah am a regular customer who felt gutted having a broken heap of crap am now buzzing about in my car happy as larry sing me head off to smooth radio
