Best coffee in the city of London! The Blackwall Estate espresso is my favourite roast! Delivery was swift.

Just had brunch with family at Canary Wharf London branch. Terrible food, extremely expensive. Coffee was not nice either. Very disappointed!!!

Quick response and service, and lovely packaging of my coffee beans! The beans themselves (Daterra Laurina & Aramosa) I was trying as they'e naturally low in caffeine, to supplement my usual caffeine-fix beans. Absolutely delicious and worth the extra £ - recommended.

Another month and another delivery of delicious coffee beans. This time it is coffee from Peru and last month it El Salvador

Decided to try the subscription + some extra bags of coffee based on the promise of 48 hour delivery. What should have been a Monday delivery has turned into Thursday STILL with nothing. I'm having to constantly chase them even though they said they'll keep an eye on the tracking. well they didn't and I have to waste time contacting them!? was told a replacement package will be sent out for delivery today but that never arrived either after waiting in all day. can you believe this is a business looking for new customers in 2026? i even asked yesterday for a small discount over the inconvenience but was completely blanked! after todays debacle i would be expecting more than just a small discount for the time I have wasted on this

UPDATE: If you are choosing rubbish couriers that is on you! Plus you haven't addressed the fact you told me YOU would be keeping an eye on the tracking. if you had and reached out to me rather than other way around, I wouldn't have to be emailing and going on Instagram now would I? You say you have been communicating but it has been slow and poor and messages from Wednesday have still not been addressed, not to mention the promise of next day delivery for which I wasted a day waiting in because you use APC courier! the cheapest and most useless courier company. not even a timed delivery or with any urgency-just the cheapest method, right? it's like you have no desire to keep new customers! i am completely and utterly shocked. you use Royal Mail. why not use next day delivery/special delivery, guaranteed by 1pm.? but no, you'd rather inconvenience me more than you already have it would appear

As a coffee nob i am as picky as Austrailian cocaine addict. So i am thrilled to say how exquiste Notes roasters wholebeans are. Not too floral as that is over powering. Strong enough and tasty enough to bulldoze a heard of rhinos but equally as silky as a dolphins assho le

I always buy my coffee from here before work even though half the time it takes a long time to get it however I went today and the lady refused to let me pay by card and wanted me to use the machine. Never coming again. Rude staff and inexperienced with customer service.

Utterly useless. sent 2 emails 2 weeks ago with a few questions about subscriptions and got no reply. Tried to then reach out on Instagram and STILL no reply. I mean it seems like they don't want new customers-never heard of a business like that!

EDIT: I can see my message on Instagram there and messaged through the website. I thought messages re subscriptions would be for the shop email address, not bookings for cafes but you know best and will email there now

We love Notes coffee, we have tried other coffees, but always come back to Notes. The tase is far superior to any other coffee we have tasted. What makes Notes even better is that they are backed by great customer service too.

Delivery issue again - I ordered espresso and received beans ! Three times now !!

And still not heard back from Notes as to how they're going to resolve this ?!

30/01/2026 update : despite Notes saying they would get in touch to resolve this issue, I've not heard anything further ! At the moment I'd like to not even award a 1 star ...

I bought a Hoop coffee maker for £30 with free delivery. It arrived quickly a few days before Christmas which I didn’t expect as I thought it was too late. On Amazon it would have cost me £39 plus £9 postage to get it before Christmas.

Very satisfied customer and highly recommend! I often take advantage of the Black Friday discounts and stock up as their coffee variety is amazing and high quality. The web shop is easy to navigate and you can also buy through the Shopify app I think; delivery is well packaged and free over £30.

I love my Notes Coffee but my Customer Experience has been poor. After being sent the wrong coffee due to a website, technical issue, I then emailed to sort. This was acknowledged within a couple of days with the issue confirmed. I then wrote back to ask how replacements would be sorted together with collection of the wrong coffee. Then nothing. It's not good enough. Order No. #15706

Now sorted with a replacement on the way.

St John’s Wood branch warning ! Ordered 2 coffees was charged £9.40 . After I paid member of staff began a confrontation that he had charged me too much and was questioning what we actually ordered . They carried out a refund for £9.40 then charged me £4.20 . I logged into my bank account to see £9.40 and £4.20 charges but NO refund . Spoke to manager on phone of staff who told me I had to wait 7 days for refund !

I spend a lot of money on St John’s Wood high street coffee shops but never experienced such shoddy service by staff . The staff need replacing they do not understand hospitality and how to converse with customer. For any high street business to charge a customer one charge then decide to refund and recharge a completely different fee to be told “ you have to wait 7 days for a fund is very poor trading standard !”

I would avoid this branch and I will be contacting trading standards and my bank !
