I couldn't recommend Not In The Guidebooks enough - they are a fantastic and friendly company. I booked for the fitness and wellbeing camp in Spain which exceeded my expectations!

Just returned from a lovely glamping pod with hot tub in Shropshire using NITGB to book and pay it was very easy to book and the site was amazing will be using them again

Lovely website!! They truly have unique experiences which you may not find elsewhere. Very easy to navigate and also communication is excellent with the team! Had a lovely stay and another upcoming one in 2 weeks! Thankyou

We have just returned from a fabulous trip to see the Northern Lights in Lapland organised by NiTGB. The accommodation in the Aurora cabins was great and we did get to see the Northern Lights! The guides were very friendly and helpful, the food was great and the transfers very efficient. We would have appreciated more information about our accommodation at the start of the booking process however whenever we asked NITGB we had answers to all our questions. We would certainly consider booking another holiday in the future.

I’ve used NITGB for tailor made trekking and site seeing experiences for the past 4 years from Asia to South America. We are always looked after exceptionally well by the local hosts and have wonderful experiences! I’d thoroughly recommend

OTTOLENGHI INSPIRED COOKERY IN THE ALGARVE
Everything was very well organised from when we booked the holiday, to the travel, transfers and accommodation. Graham and Cheryl, who led the cookery course, were amazing hosts and there was a perfect balance of cooking and relaxing. The house was beautiful and very comfortable and the surrounding countryside was lovely. There is nothing that could have been improved- it was perfect.

Just back from a 3 night stay in the glass roofed Aurora Cabins at Northern Lights Village in Finland. This has been one the best holidays ever. The romantic retreat was spot on, throughly enjoyed the many excursions, great attention to detail to ensure the best experience is had. All winter outer clothing provided and were good clean condition. Some lovely little extras like ample sleighs to transport your luggage/kids to and from. It really was the cutest little retreat. I would highly recommend!

Yes the trip was fantastic, we have done reports on hotels and transfers on trip advisor. Roberto met us on arrival at the hotel immediately on arrival into the country and gave us a detailed info talk and map also some coffee. All the drivers arrived early, are extremely knowledgeable and stopped if they saw anything interesting or if we wanted anything special.

The Tortuguero national park was fantastic the birds, monkeys, sloths, alligators and even dolphins were abundant everywhere. The hotel was clean and staff extremely welcoming, we found 3 meals a day rather overfilling but didn't like to waste the food or make it look like we weren't enjoying it because we were so we struggled on! Rodrigo, our driver, took us up to the dock and again picked us up from the dock to take us first to the pineapple Finca Sura which was brilliant. Again an excellent choice as he got us very close to a sloth he spotted at the side of the road only about 10 feet up the tree so excellent photo opportunity.

He then took us to our next hotel in La Fortuna, excellent hotel, food, room and the staff were fantastic nothing was too much trouble. The trips to the waterfalls, rainforest, lava flow and volcano with our guide Mau and driver Edgar brilliant, fantastic knowledge with lots of fun. He took lots of his own photos some done through his telescope which he shared with everyone and we are still getting photos today. We also did the national park with Francisco and again a marvellous day.

The Koora hotel in Moneverde was simply the best and again room, food, staff and with its own 4 klm nature walk in the grounds. Ziplining and repelling with Tarzan-swing Carol was nervous at first but wanted to do it again after and didn't stop talking about it.

The last five nights at the Nammbu gave us chance to catch our breath and chill. Wouldn't have missed anything on this adventure, cannot fault anything but praise everyone for giving us this opportunity and would highly recommend it.

Wasn't over impressed with Iberia, not as good as Virgin last year but no complaints.

The holiday went as planned with no issues and communication was good leading up to our holiday.

VICKY is super! She really has gone above and beyond to ensure we get availability for my special clients for 2025. She has explained everything in detail - spending time to cover every single possible option which the customer can choose from. Amazing service and outstanding knowledge!

It was very easy to book our 3 night Arctic SnowHotel experience (1 night in the ice cold room & 2 nights in a warm igloo) with fabulous excursions - huskie sled ride, e-snowmobiling, reindeer farm, breakfasts & dinners & all transfers included. NITGB was very responsive to my emails & questions & very efficient in accomplishing our booking. All transfers & excursions were excellent. The one improvement we would suggest is that a full itinerary be provided before the trip (not just a sample itinerary) to both the travelers & the hotel as we arrived not knowing when our activities were & the hotel had to call over to the excursion vendor(s) to find out the information for us (had I not persistently inquired, we might have missed our huskie sled ride). The ice cold room sleep-in experience was awesome & once inside the sleeping bag I was totally warm & cozy (& if you can't tolerate it, the nearby warm locker room area has some bunk beds that you can switch to). The warm igloos are also very cozy (like "wilderness camp") & each has its own bathroom with shower/toilet, sink. The igloos can get a bit warm overnight so best to ask the hotel front desk to lower the heat a bit. The Bear Hill huskie-sledding experience (you drive your own sled!) was incredible, the 3 hr e-snowmobiling experience at night (after dinner) was really fun, as was the reindeer sled ride & farm experience. The hotel itself has a tubing hill (tubes there to be freely used), a large frozen lake that you can ice skate on with a glider, & ice sculpting. There's also an ice-fishing excursion available, among other things. The buffet breakfasts were lavish, & the dinners at the warm restaurant Kota were delicious. The dinner at the Ice restaurant (beautiful ice carvings there) was also very good & a fun experience (dress warm!). The aurora borealis came out & did a light show dance which was just awesome. The drinks at the ice bar & the sky bar were delicious (now I need to find some cloudberry liquor at home). Snowsuits & boots were provided by the excursion people for our huskie sleeding & e-snowmobiling. The public sauna hours should be longer (no jacuzzi with the public sauna but it does have showers & a blowdryer). You can book hour-long private sauna/jacuzzi time but it's pricey. This was an active really fun wilderness-activity vacation. All in all it was a can't be missed once-in-a-lifetime experience that was phenomenal!

Booked a romantic stay in The Northern Lights resort in Phya Finland. This has to be one of the best experiences I have had with booking a holiday, Everything was so easy and all arranged by the NITGB guys. Thank you for making the holiday so stress free and amazing.

Unforgettable family holiday to Lapland. We were on the 3 nights Aurora hunting tour at the Northern Lights Village in Pyhä. It was an incredible experience from start to finish. Accommodation, food, guided tours and excursions were exceptional. We would love to visit again!

Nice package and hotel in Lapland.
But very slow responses on email.
When our flights were cancelled and I rebooked for a day earlier it took a whole week to confirm accommodation for the extra night, by which point it was only 5 days before the holiday.
I was then charged double for the extra night by accident. And I received emails which were meant for someone else.
So not a great experience with the company and i probably won’t use them again.

Hotel Kurulas was amazing. The rooms were very modern and loved having our own sauna!

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We got to see the northern lights numerous times and it helped with the app the hotel suggests which alerts you when they are visible. Would highly recommend.

Only one suggestion. We had full board and I would say it was quite rigid with options. I understand that you are in their country but the choices were very limited, especially for the children. 2/3 nights the main course was reindeer. When you have just visited Santa and he’s talking about Rudolph and the gang and then you get back to the hotel and you are eating them it’s quite hard explaining to a 7 year old. That was my only suggestion

I have now spoken to Vicky at least 3 times regarding the same proposed trip. Not once has she been anything but helpful and oh so pleasant. She has talked me through the website, offered advice and info on the property and resort - so lovely to deal with, thank you

I was trying to make a last minute booking to lapland for this year and was getting frustrated with options and availability. Vicky was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to get the booking sorted out for me. I cannot thank her enough and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to book a trip away.
