Ben was recommended to us for the mortgage of our first home. We are very new to this process and did not know anything about what was involved in obtaining a mortgage or the end to end process of buying a home for that matter. He went above and beyond our expectations and we cannot thank him enough. He was available to take a call whenever we needed, and took the time to explain every little thing to us. He made us feel as though no question was silly. He got everything sorted so quickly and efficiently and has just been amazing to work with on this. I will definitely be recommending him and using him again in the future. Thank you so much Ben.

Could not have asked for a better service! Ben explained the process and options incredibly well and turned what could have been an incredibly stressful and difficult time into a smooth process. He helped me understand my options, what I could afford and under what circumstances. I was particularly impressed how fast the process was completed - having heard from others how difficult theirs was. Ben made such a big impact and managed to arrange everything in the short timeframe that I’d been given by the developer.

In December 2020 we started the process of looking to buy our first home and was recommended Octopus Wealth through work. Given the pandemic and the stamp duty holiday this process has been more frustrating that normal and we are finally moving house in January 2022.

The support we have received from Octopus has been first class, as inexperienced house buyers we were weary of the process and yet have been reassured every step along the way: nothing has been too much trouble, no question has been unanswered and everything has been handled with urgency, understanding and professionalism.

We were able to seek advice from everything from negotiating prices to searches and mortgages. Without the support we have received I believe this would have been unmanageable and I thank Ben for his considerable effort. At a time when everything was more stressful I am blessed to have had such excellent advice and support.

Ben was instrumental in helping us understand mortgages. Particularly helpful was that the "cheapest" mortgages over their term (2, 3, 5 years etc...) aren't necessarily those that leave you with the least overall debt.

I spoke to 3 brokers before signing up with Octopus Wealth, I found that Ben provided me clear, transparent and very considerate answers from right beginning in comparison with the others. We completed two mortgages with Ben Kehoe and he couldn’t have been more helpful. He found us great products in unusual circumstances, made the process so efficient and responded rapidly to any correspondence. We never would have been able to get such good mortgages without him.

We are also undergoing financial planning with Simon Cahill. We were originally happy with our previous financial advisor but looked into Octopus as they had slight cheaper fees (which made a big difference in the long run). We haven’t finished the process yet but have been equally as impressed with everything we have seen so far; not only his way of simplifying fairly complex topics for us but also the exceptionally high level of customer service we have received.

I have recently completed a complicated house purchase which required several other properties to be re-mortgaged and was extremely time sensitive. Ben was excellent and without his hard work the purchase would have fallen through. I would recommend Ben to any business owner or individual buying a high value property.
