After a few years of trying to manage my own journey towards retirement, and the unexpected anxiety that came with it, I began trawling through You Tube for some inspiration and came across some very relevant and helpful content from a James Shack. A bit more research led me to NOVA Wealth and I decided to engage their services a couple of years ago, specifically from their James Butler and Amy Farringdon. I'll be honest and say the first year was a big adjustment on my part, building up a relationship with James and Amy and putting my trust in the NOVA Wealth brand. Now 2 years down the line, I have no regrets in my decision to go with NOVA Wealth and have confidence that my financial wellbeing is now under control. However, the unexpected bonus is the positive impact it has also had on my mental and physical wellbeing as the anxieties I had trying to do it myself have all but disappeared. This is due to the knowledge that James, Amy and their Team are on hand for not only the planned support but also for the unplanned circumstances when they arise. Most recently, my wife wanted to retire earlier than planned due to her worsening arthritis, and within the space of 3 months she is now retired, we are mortgage free, we are achieving the lifestyle we wanted and we are looking towards the future with confidence. Happy Days indeed!

Had a fantastic experience working with Ed from the Mortgage & Protection team at Nova. Ed was professional, communicative and went above and beyond to ensure we were getting the best rate on our mortgage. This was the first time that we were buying property, and Ed was very helpful in explaining everything and guiding us through the process.

My advisor is a good listener and covered all the things that were important to me.
Lots of information has been taken prior to today’s big chat about my options, however some of the information his team put together was incorrect. No big decisions have been made at this stage so this didn’t matter too much but they will have to repeat some of the work as the facts they got wrong will make a difference to the final numbers.

My wife & I have been working with Valentina (and Amy) for the past few years (and watched the youtube content). Unlike with other financial advisors the advice I'm getting here is personal and more than just money, it's about overall life experience. I am always surprised by the thoroughness and openness - they tell you all the pros and cons of every bit of advice even if it's at their own expense. Valentina has been extremely pleasant and guiding in our journey too, we are novices in wealth but know we are in good hands.

We have been with Nova for 18 months now, and the experience has been exceptional. Lauren (and Amy) have been great throughout, and I can highly recommend their services. My partner and I started to review the market for a financial planner following an accident which had the potential to shorten my career.
Following dialogue with several providers, our initial conversation with Chris O'Connor was a breath of fresh air and immediately differentiated Nova. The focus was on us, our goals and to help us create a financial plan to support an earlier than anticipated retirement. This was the polar opposite approach to other organisations who simply presented historical investment performance as the reason to select them, without a genuine interest in the ambitions of us as clients.
The process of transferring our various investments to the Nova platform was efficient, and above all every element of the engagement is ultra-transparent. Our regular touch points with Chris are well structured and we review the plan with him to ensure that we are meeting our trajectory.
Prior to working with Nova we were DIY investors, hoping that we were doing the right thing, but without genuine strategy or a Plan B. We now have real confidence in our portfolio as our long-term vehicle into financial independence, and are so happy that we selected Chris at Nova as our advisor.

Ontop of the regular advice, I had several lateral questions - lender-advisor relationships, fee vs no fee etc - and Will was more than happy to give his honest thoughts and considerations.
