We put an immense amount of engineering into our all-weather cushions, so it is fantastic to hear that you are enjoying the freedom of being able to leave them out all summer long without a worry. Getting your new setup to you "amazingly fast" - especially over a weekend layout is always our goal, so we're glad the shipping speed hit the mark.

While we always strive for absolute perfection out of the box, human errors can occasionally happen with smaller hardware components. However, we believe that a company's true colours show in how they handle things when they don't go exactly to plan. I am so glad to hear our team stepped up immediately, dispatched the replacement parts without hesitation, and provided you with the brilliant, thoughtful support we pride ourselves on.

Thank you for your feedback Tommy. We are pleased to hear that you find your new Lucerne bar stools to be of good quality, but we are genuinely sorry that the delivery experience and handling the packaging left you feeling frustrated.

We completely understand that disposing of a large wooden pallet and cardboard is inconvenient. To clear up any confusion regarding our process, we use a secure freight network to transport our heavy orders safely across the country and prevent any transit damage to the frames.

Because standard courier networks cannot safely handle goods of this size, we provide a free palletised kerbside delivery as the only shipping service we can offer at this stage. We try to be as transparent as possible about this logistical reality before an order ever arrives, which is why the palletised kerbside terms are explicitly stated inside your shopping basket, throughout the checkout screens, and right on your order confirmation email.

That being said, we are actively listening to our community, and we will be offering a premium white-glove delivery service soon to handle full installation and packaging removal for those who prefer it. In the meantime, we will look at how we can make our current delivery terms even more prominent across our individual product pages.

Regarding your note about manufacturing: while our precision frames are produced overseas to our exact material standards -using premium commercial-grade, powder-coated aluminium and heavyweight 450gsm fabrics - every component, fabric specification, and structural curve is designed entirely in-house by Numa. We curate our collections to offer high-end, estate-level luxury with advanced all-weather capabilities at a far more accessible value than traditional luxury showroom brands.

Because we intentionally design our collections to be highly modular—giving customers the creative freedom to mix and match a wide range of different chairs and tables across our entire ecosystem—not every chair shape is universally designed to fit completely underneath every table frame. We appreciate how a bit of extra length on the Belgravia would enhance the storage convenience for your specific pairing, and we will certainly pass this observation directly to our product design team.

Aluminium in the Sun: You make an excellent point about the material properties of aluminium. Because it is highly durable, lightweight, and entirely rust-proof, it is a fantastic material for the elements, but it can indeed absorb heat under intense, direct sunlight. Many of our customers find that pairing the set with an outdoor parasol or utilizing light table runners or placemats during peak summer hours helps keep the surface perfectly comfortable to the touch.
