Ich hab einen höhenverstellbaren Tisch von Oako. Nach wenigen Wochen begannen sich Teile an allen vier Ecken der Tischplatte zu lösen. Jetzt hat er hässliche Kanten und Spalte.
Die Kommunikation mit dem Oako Service war extrem zeitaufwändig, weil sich niemand verantwortlich fühlt. Ich hab nach zig Mails und Versuchen über Instagram einfach aufgegeben und lebe jetzt damit 1000€ für einen Tisch mit deutlich sichtbaren Fehlern bezahlt zu haben.

Regarding your feedback,
1. We measure the wood humidity % once we make it, but during the shipment, the humidity level in the wood can change due to the environmental temperature that the package has to go through. It is also that your room temperature is much warmer and the room is drier than in our production facilities which is why such a change has caused stress to wood panels that have shrunk. Usually, it takes around 20 days for the desk to adjust to the temperature and humidity level in the room which can cause some deformations, but sometimes also environmental changes e.g. passing through the heating season can cause some stress to the wood.
2. Regarding the communication. From what we can see , we have responded to you at all times when you have reache out to us (e-mail and Instagram) , but unfortunately, we did not receive any response from you neither back then or now. We would never purposely ignore or refuse any claims.
We are still tryig to reach out to you via phone, e-mail and even IG, but, unfortunately, unsuccessfully. We would like to hear from you any time soon in order to solve the issues you are experiencing with your desk.

Amazing desk and outstanding support
Got my amazing desk from OAKO and it looked perfect! The default settings showed C17 and I couldn't move the desk. I got support within minutes (!) and it worked. Now I'm absolutely satisfied :)

Very good customer service
The desk was delivered quite fast, only 3 weeks after ordering. Upon arrival, I noticed some damage to the package of the desk, and indeed, the desk itself was also damaged. After a few e-mails, which were always answered very fast, Oako proposed an eco-friendly solution which involved sending me a DIY repair kit, as the damage was minor and in a not very visible spot. Overall I'm very happy with the desk and their customer service.

Highly recommend this company!
Overall a really good experience. Great support while deciding what to buy and I finally chose the mahogany desk with matching chest of drawers and drawer. Product was delivered faster than I expected with a number of communications to keep me updated and also with clear instructions on how to take delivery. Putting it together is relatively easy, but I asked one of my more technically gifted brothers as you do need to drill holes in the desk top. I have been using it for two weeks now and the look is fantastic. Top quality as well and this desk will last a lifetime if you care for it well.

Incredible customer service - nice quality desks
A friend of mine recommended Oako to me so I ordered a desk. I had some problems since the first desk cracked after a few months, but they replaced it. The second one had a small fabrication defect so they replaced it again and I am quite happy with the desk now.
I was really impressed with the customer service, and how fast they replied and how swiftly they sorted everything out. To me, this is super important, and that's why I'm giving them 5 stars. Any product can have issues, especially wooden things that get transported far away, and are sensitive to environment conditions. So the really fast and helpful customer service is really reassuring that whatever happens, they will be there to help you sort it out.

Excellent experience ordering my Oako Desk…
Excellent experience ordering my Oako Desk from start to finish.
The end result is truly beautiful, putting the desk together was clear and easy using the instruction guidelines (and heavy, this is a real desk).
The best thing about the experience has been the aftercare from Oako. I ordered some accessories after the desk. They went above and beyond to ensure that the total set-up matches together.
Anete was also very patient with me as I was juggling a home renovation.
Overall- excellent.

One of a kind standing desk
The health benefits of a standing desk plus a lifetime purchase of a stunning natural wood desk.
My Oako Denmark desk looks visually incredible in my home office, I love the solid wood desk top.
Each desk is made to order, so it will be unique to each person. But this does take a little bit of time to make and deliver. Delivery time to Ireland was 5 weeks from the date of order which isn't bad for a custom desk. Assembly time was less than 1 hour.
I got the wooden monitor stand as well to complete the look.
Mega happy, the customer service from Anete and team was smooth and easy to work with

High quality and great customer service!
I will gladly recommend OakoDenmark as they produce some beautiful standing desks and provide great customer service.
I would like to warn future buyers that the color of the table do not necessarily match the color on the pictures of the website (because of the nature of solid oak). I was a little disappointed when the table arrived, but after contacting customer service we found a fair solution. They were quick in responding and very understanding throughout the interaction.
Easy recommendation since you are in great hands.

My stand-up desk experience.
Bought my desk from Oako at the beginning of lockdown 2020.
I opted for the mahogany with electric legs to make it a stand-up desk.
The quality is brilliant and my experience with it has been life-changing as someone who works from home full time.
I had to request a new control panel from them as mine became faulty but this was dealt with brilliantly and they sent me a new replacement almost immediately.

I am extremely happy with my purchase
I am extremely happy with my purchase. Shipment took a while for the simple reason that desks are made to order - definitely worth the wait. Ordered on 6th August, delivered on 13th September. Delivery was ok but kinda hard to follow as products seem to be shipped from Eastern Europe by a company specialized in bigger packages. The desk looks stunning, very high quality, very well packed and the mounting instructions were very clear. Took me about an hour to mount the desk.

Delivery took almost 2 months (website says 20-25 working days). Delivery company wasn't provided with the house number and had to reschedule delivery, for which they charge extra. Something is broken with the logistics and the delivery process

Your OAKO desk is handmade and it takes extra care and time to create such a product. We do not store stock and all desks are made only when the customer has placed an order. This is one reason why OAKO desks are so special because all components are manufactured in the EU based on the highest quality standards which can sometimes cause small delays to ensure that everything is perfect. In addition, people are working from home more than ever before, and this has led to an increase in order intake, due to this there may be some delays once in a while.
Also, as stated on our website delivery varies between the countries, however, please accept an apology from our side that the delivery went so unpleasant. We are trying to improve as much as we can.
Regarding the house number, there was no house number stated on your order information and once one of our colleagues was making the labels, she, unfortunately, missed it. After the delivery company reached out to us to express that there was no house number and they were unable to reach you via phone call our team was right on top of this to solve this ASAP.
Delivery took place the very next day and since then everything has been sorted out and we have compensated you for all the inconveniences.
Once again we are so sorry for the delivery experience.

Very poor delivery service - avoid.
Really dreadful experience. I am writing this to warn others and advise you to take your business elsewhere.
Long delays in order processing but this was ok because we liked the look of the desks. With hindsight wish we had paid more attention to some of the negative reviews online which highlight poor delivery experience.
Order initially lost by shipping company and only after several emails did they acknowledge it hadn’t actually left country of origin (these desks are made in Latvia not Denmark). Seemingly they had just forgotten to ship it and I was given some excuses about UK customs.
Desk shipped via Poland and Germany and eventually arrived in UK. Arranged delivery date - no specific slot given and told it would be 9-5. Annoying but ok.
Around midday a resident of an adjacent street came over to ask why a pallet with our name and address on it had been abandoned on their drive!
Wrong street name and wrong house number. Delivery company were not apologetic and sounded annoyed with me for challenging them on this, but agreed to send courier around to remove parcel from said driveway.
Courier brings parcel to correct address at which point on closer inspection it becomes evident there is significant water damage to the parcels and the boxes are damaged. Driver eventually agrees to take parcel back after significant verbal abuse.
Having been threatened in advance by Oako that if we accepted a damaged parcel we would be responsible for any problems we were, however, forced to decline the delivery. Eventually after 24 hours Oako acknowledged the courier still has the parcel and issued a refund. This was delayed by the fact the courier had signed the delivery sheet himself and ticked the boxes to say everything was fine!
Due to fluctuating exchange rate I am left £50 out of pocket and still without any desk...
Feel really sorry for the manufacturers in Latvia as this is in no way their fault but the service here was let down by a really poor delivery company.
I would strongly advise you to take your business elsewhere as unfortunately the setup for getting your desk to you is not functional.
The saga detailed above took 2 months.
Edit: In response to Oako’s reply. I don’t live in Ireland, or anywhere near Ireland. If you sent my order there initially, that might go some way to explaining the delay.

First things first we are very sorry for the dreadful delivery process you had to go through, and as we have talked over about this, we completely agree that it was not ideal.
Our agent had to use a different delivery company for your shipment because of the area in Ireland you are located in. It was a completely unacceptable experience, and we are disappointed how the delivery company handled your order.
It truly is a shame that our team put so much love and care into making and packaging each and every order, but in the end, your order got mishandled and poorly delivered. We did the best we could to fix the situation, but, unfourtinetly, it was not enough..
Regarding the long delivery time:
*We did inform you that there is going to be a delay with your order and kindly asked for you to stay patient and get back to us once the order arrives to talk about some kind of compensation for this.
*It is hard to keep track of each and every order we sent out, so when a customer reaches out to express that there might be something wrong with the shipment once it is sent out, we try to solve this as quickly as possible.
*Since the United Kingdom has faced new regulations the process of importing goods from the EU to the UK is not so smooth anymore, it is completely normal that delivery to UK customers can take around 2 weeks. Also, to ease the experience for our customers OAKO and Dacher handle all the documentation and custom costs which takes time to be done as well. This also applies to the delivery to Switzerland and Norway.
Once again, we truly apologize for all of this. It truly is a shame that you were unable to accept the two beautiful desks we created for you.

I damaged a leg while moving homes and the Oako team has been great in providing a replacement and supporting me with the tech issues I had.
The standing desk is very sturdy and the wooden looks amazing.

Outstanding customer service and great products
Sometimes mistakes happen. The desk surface had a rather big repair in the center. I was not sure whether the issue was worth a claim. So I got in touch with OAKO who apologized immediately and sent a new surface!
Now I have a flawless desk surface and a fitting cabinet. The desk is a real masterpiece. I love it.
I would highly recommend OAKO.

Outstanding Customer Support + Amazing Product
Oako's Product is elegant and high quality and I am very happy with my purchase.
I want to highlight the exceptional customer service they provide. My desk had a malfunction and upon contacting customer support they dispatched a replacement the same day, free of charge and even send me some more polishing oil for my desk. The communication was timely, precise and friendly. 10/10 and combined with the great product, I would highly recommend them.

A work of art of a desk
Wow what a desk, every day when I walk into my workroom my mood is lifted right away when I see this work of art of a desk. It feels so nice when you rest your arms on it and the attention to detail is really extraordinary. All these little structures on the table are beautiful and many of my friends ask me where I bought it.
I can definitely recommend buying one of their tables as they are very well made, look beautiful and the service is really great too. Maija in particular was a really great support when I needed it. They were really friendly and always went the extra mile to make the whole process a great experience for me.
I would definitely buy another one!
