Oako Denmark has excellent desks, I have just have bought the Mahogany colour and I am excited to say that the colour and the quality of the desk is superior. Also the customer service and follow up by Maija was outstanding. I recommend anyone who is thinking to buy a stand desk to take a look at their desks on their webpage.

Fantastic customer service through the ordering process when they were responsive and provided good advice on sizing and spec. Also good communication through the process and responded quickly when parcel tracking links weren’t updating. And the desk is brilliant. Great quality, smooth mechanism and pretty easy to put together. Really pleased overall.

Everything was just fine. Incredibly quick responses to questions, e-mails that kept me up to date with the status of my desk ("being made", "being shipped", etc.), and the desk itself is gorgeous and certainly a big showoff to my friends. :) Had a tiny technical issue with it and again, very quick and efficient response from Oako. You can trust them with your eyes closed.

The desk was send from Riga, not Denmark. Then I wonder what the source is of the oak wood. I did not get any answers from oakodenmark.dk.
It was very firmly packed so it arrived without any damage.
The desk is as good and beautiful as it is shown on the website. Very nice.

Desk ordered September 5, arrived October 27.

No information in between - only response when asking.

Package damaged and had to be carried alone up to the third floor. I am really asking myself, why I ordered a desk online and did not buy one at IKEA.

This desk is gorgeous, well made, sturdy and seems to be very strong. The delivery was delayed but this was likely because of issues caused by the COVID pandemic.

Customer service is amazing, the team were always available for me to chat with them and they were very helpful.

I have this desk paired with a HÅG Capisco 8106 with a 265mm gas lift. This is the perfect chair for this set up and I highly recommend it.

If you're looking for a beautifully made standup desk I think you'll struggle to find anything better. Mine is the Oak Golden Crust.

Delivery to the UK can take a number of weeks so you need to consider this when buying but it is absolutely worth the wait.

I am totally in Love with my new Desk. It is beautiful and really easy to assemble. the customer service was great, had some trouble due to corona, but it was solved really quickly and customer service responded imediately. Clear recommendation! <3

Beautiful natural wood desk that is a fantastic addition to any office/buro- it looks a premium product and the height adjustability makes working much more comfortable.
We recently converted our spare room into a home office and wanted to get some nice quality furniture. In our search we found Oako and the pictures on the website looked perfect for what we wanted. The overall customer experience from customizing the order on the website to clarifying some details with there customer service agents was quick, easy and enjoyable. And the price was very reasonable too.
The order took a very reasonable amount of time to fulfill, less that 4 weeks and when the table arrived we followed the instructions provided and watched the YouTube tutorial on how to build it. The table was comfortably ready to use within the hour.
If you are looking for a high quality height adjustable office desk made from very high quality materials then Oako is definitely worth a look 👍

Great quality products and fantastic (really) customer service.
So why not 5*? Because the company that handle their deliveries in UK is terrible, really.

The desk is nice

A few issues with delivery, but they sorted them out.

Good customer service.

From ordering to delivery to constructing the desk it was without a hitch. The desk is absolutely perfect and makes me very happy to be sat at for such a long period of time.

I wanted a wooden table top. After a long search, I came across this table. Ordering (also as a corporate customer) was easy due to the great support and I was helped quickly.

After a month of delivery, the time had finally come: I received my table.
I was immediately enthusiastic and continue to be very satisfied with the table. It's high quality and has a perfect finish. The wait was worth it!

It's a pleasure to work on every day and the feel of the tabletop is perfect. The table has a firm footing at any height.

I haven't found anything comparable in Germany.

I ordered "Golden Crust” Solid Oak Desk with a cable grommets and tray. Total is €833.99. Much cheaper than similar alternatives in the UK.

It took about 1 month from ordering to receiving parts. The parts were heavy and felt solid. Assembly was simple, though it would have been simpler if some drill locations on wooden top were marked.

Electronics are Logicdata, similar quality to Linak according to BTOD. I think motor is very quiet (I don't have experience with other desks for comparison). There can be 4 height settings saved. It seems I have to keep holding buttons instead of just pressing once. It moves fast so not a problem. Lift capacity is 160 kg, I am 80 kg and it was able to lift myself sitting on it (a bit slower towards very top).

It doesn't wobble unless you push and pull with some force.

I'd certainly recommend it.

Great service and great product. I was hesitant to spend on a desk I had not seen in person, as COVID pushed everyone to work from home. Desks were in short supply and out of stock everywhere. However, the quality of the materials was second to none and was in fact amazing! Its a great desk that will last a life time.
The assembly was super simple and easy. The overall product should be way more expensive for what you get.

Delivery is horrible (too late and delivery was left on the street and not in front of the door). But the service is excellent. Oak gave me a refund for the delayed delivery (it was 3 weeks later than planned at the beginning of the order) and the desk is amazing. So I adjusted my rating.

After a couple of months of working from home, and beginning to feel the effects of having a desk that was not adjustable and at a suitable height, it was time for a change.

Significant research eventually led me to discover Oako and their potentially wonderful looking 'Mahogany' desk. We have lots of dark work in our living room, so was trying to find something that would fit in well with that.

What a great choice it has proven to be - the desk is ideally suited to my needs, allowing me to adjust the height so that I can have the right posture throughout the day, and minimise the impact of being in a chair all day. The size is also ideal for me (140x80) and allows me to have my personal existing 27'' iMac, along with another 27'' monitor for docking my work laptop. The depth is also a little greater than my prior desk, allowing me more space for writing and moving things around if I have to.

Lead time in order and receipt was also very good, especially during these times of COVID-19. I cannot rate highly enough the quality and the service provided by this company. A very happy customer!

The desk is absolutely beautiful!
The wood has a very good quality and looks good as expected.

I really recommend this desk to everyone who want’s to have a high quality desk which also looks amazing.

I've had my desk for 3 days now and have to say it's absolutely fantastic. It has a very simple yet elegant feel to it. It was fairly straightforward to set up although it might require two people since the frame is very heavy. That however is required and it seems to help keep the desk nice and sturdy even at about 105cm in height, which is the setting I use while standing.

The desk came with some linseed oil, for future application, which was a nice touch.

The best part of buying from OAKO was their customer service. I had initially ordered the 140x80 desk and after 2 days changed my mind. I wanted to upgrade to the 160x80 version. Their communication and service throughout was prompt and clear. I was also sent detailed advice on how to maintain it for the long term.

It's definitely not the cheapest standing desk around but I feel it's worth the money, given that it's solid 2cm thick oak wood (4cm at the edges) and all the materials used have a quality feeling about it.
