I can't thank Oakwood Solicitors enough for their outstanding support and service. I was a victim of a scam and had lost a significant amount of money. From the very beginning, my solicitor, Aidan Khan, was incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and compassionate.

I was extremely nervous dealing with the bank, but Aidan took the pressure off by handling all communications on my behalf. His professionalism and dedication gave me the confidence to trust the process. Thanks to his hard work and expertise, I was able to successfully recover the money I had lost.

I was in a car accident in November 2024 and the process of getting everything sorted out was really straightforward. I was passed into Oakwood where Jessica Atha took on my claim and dealt with it as quickly as she could for me.

The 3rd party insurers were less than forthcoming and made Jessica's job so much more difficult but anytime I phoned, which was almost every week she always did her best to push it and update me. Im so grateful to her for helping me with all of this and now I'm debating phoning her for a chat every now and again since we spoke so often. 😂

Not the best. Started with online form back in January received a call taking the initial information. Received nothing until I contacted them again on the 22nd of April following a date for a preliminary hearing spoke to a solicitor who asked me to send documents through no further correspondence from the solicitor chased again finally spoke to solicitor today. Still not had a chance to read any of the documents bit of an excuse regarding no staff however no confirmation that the documents have been received due to their sensitivity. I’ve now asked that these are deleted and I will not proceed to instruct the solicitors. Whilst I had also advised in my call on the 22nd of April, I would be willing to pay for such advice. The excuse was she was doing it for free which I was willing to pay for together with representation at the hearing.I think based on my experience I would not recommend so if you expect a solicitor to be a bit more organised then try an alternative

Oakwood Solitor’s handled my claim very well and efficiently they kept me updated and very informed. I’m I am very pleased I chose Oakwood Solitor’s to handle my matter.

They did there job well and I was not involved at such a very sad time.

Initially, they misunderstood my employment claim and took a long period to respond to ACAS. Materials I sent were glanced at but their team viewed my employer’s constructive knowledge of a disability as inefficient to reach their 50% margin of success to make a profit on my claim.

While I'm aware of their commitment to tackling matters as a business first I feel let down and deeply saddened that I was offered no win no fee, signed their contract and then was told I could not succeed some time after.

Each case has its merits, but the only precedent set for working-class people to challenge public sector bodies at a tribunal is to lose a limb or lose a case. I’m considering leaving my job, and abandoning hope and have felt my life is severely impacted as a result of the past year.

I decided to use Oakwood for my claim against a former employer who failed to provide disability adjustments.
I had all the evidence I needed through emails and the case seemed relatively simple, but as it was quite a traumatic experience, I wanted to save myself the stress of attempting to make the claim myself.

I contacted Oakwood Solicitors to inquire about a workplace stress claim. An administrative assistant took down my personal details, which felt overly intrusive given that I was simply asking for pricing information.
No communication for 2 weeks when I have rang to chase this they don’t have any knowledge of my call absolute waste of time

The astronomical cost of the claim had me studying the stars wondering how any defendant would consider settling out of court. Couple this with the solicitor who has been handling my case leaving just before a pivotal deadline and you end up at my 1 star rating. I would throw caution before letting these legends rack up £9,000 in six months without seeing much more than very bland itemised bill. No win no fee, only one winner here and it’s certainly not the client. If you want one email every two months for £3,000 a month then you fire away. My advice RUN
