Sent for a pair of earrings. They were extremely reasonably priced and of good quality. They also arrived very promptly.

My partner brought me some gold earrings which was advetised as 35mm, company sent out 25mm, returned back by recorded delivery to the address on the packagage, which was signed their end( he has proof,), but never ever got earrings or refund back to this day. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS RIP OFF COMPANY.

Please people when buying off this company .please use PayPal.. to purchase as oldenglishjewley will refuse to refund you..Will find every excuse in the book ..and if you return stuff make sure you register by post ... this is your proof of returning products.. I would never but or recommend this company..

They sent me a broken necklace where the clasp was damaged but also it was magnetic, £240 I have been waiting almost 2 weeks on a refund from them as I returned it straight away, they said they will refund me when they have it, I have the tracking number and for anyone that wants to see they have it but won't refund me ask me for the tracking number. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS

SCAMMERS! This company had stolen money for two orders and never received refunds etc in one was faulty also, stay away do not use!! Contacted eBay but could not help as they instructed me to close down the returns case so they could replace the item. They know what they are doing and you won’t get your money back. Rob the owner promised to sort but has now gone silent. surprise, surprise. They have no contact number and the website is also down. The jewellery itself is very cheap and a gold chain I ordered had started fading in no time. Save your money and buy elsewhere. Have reported to eBay who are going to look into this fraudulent seller.

I got a ring 925 silver, been after this ring for ages, looks okay had it a few months now, the only thing is the green stone looks like it some thing u get from a cheap shop and it looks and feels plastic would I buy from here again NO. Just a cheap ring. I would not call you a jewellers shop if you selling stuff like this. AVOID PEOPLE

Earrings. Good service fair price, the experience was slightly "tarnished" by the underperformance of the Post Office but I cannot fault OEJ.

Bought a ring advertised as 9ct 375 hallmarked 0.1ct wishbone eternity ring. RECIEVED A 9K RING??? no assey no 375 nothing. Contacted Rob who requested a photo and told me that wouldn't happen because that would be illegal. I sent the photo clearly showing 9k and then he requested a photo showing PEALING??? Why would a 375 gold ring peal! It wouldn't unless it's gold coated silver which again I didn't order remember I ordered a 375 gold ring. Avoid at all costs I'm reporting to Trading Standards if this isn't resolved today!

I bought a gold chain with a heart on, with in 8 weeks the chain has snapped. I contacted this company hoping they would at least repair it free of charge, but they just said you only get 30 days to return items? I expect a gold necklace to last much more than 8 weeks, very bad customer services and poor quality necklace.

Fantastic service from Oldenglishjewellers. I placed an order for some beautiful dainty solid gold natural opal earrings and they arrived fast and we're packaged with care. They we're exact to the description given and are absolutely beautiful. Any queries i had regarding my order we're answered quickly by Rob and we're helpful. I purchased a ring from OEJ on 25th August and one of the simulated diamonds fell out less than 3 weeks after purchase. They will not exchange, repair or refund the ring as I'm apparently 'out of their returns window' even though initial contact to report the fault was made around mid September. The ring is obviously poor quality and is no longer fit for purpose.

I’m not sure what’s happening with these sad reviews. My experience with this company have been outstanding I ordered a size z+1 which is hard to find but this company had plenty of choice the ring I chose is lovely. It came without any issues with Royal Mail my only gripe would be it came in a little gift bag not a box but that could of been my own over site as I was rushing to place the order.

I am astonished by some of the reviews here. I have placed four orders with this company in the past two months: one on Amazon and three via eBay.

In each case my orders have been fulfilled swiftly, and they have arrived well-packed within 24 - 48hrs by Royal Mail, with full tracking provided through to delivery. On the two occasions that I contacted them with questions I received a timely response. In fact, one question placed at the weekend elicited an automatic acknowledgement with the promise that a human would reply on Monday morning. They did.

All of my purchases are quality items that were offered at very fair prices; I am happy to wear them all.

I realise my review is at odds with others here, but I feel it is only fair to place on record my own very positive experiences with Old English Jewellers.

I got £15 earrings it was on sale from this company on eBay last summer and it turn out it is not solid 9ct gold, don't be fooled by handwrite 375 scratched on the earrings.

Fast delivery, well packaged. nice ring . Not what I ordered. Contact nil. tried to find email and did find address but gave up and will certainly let my friends know\ They are jewellery daft.

Please don’t buy from these. They have taken £147 and no goods have arrived. They are scammers. I work so hard for my money and this is what they are doing to people! Disgusting 😡

I bought and paid for, a solid gold double curb, 16in necklace on the 25th November, the money went out of my bank on the 27/28th November. I paid via PayPal but it was really glitchy so input my card details. I have fb messaged, emailed twice and tried phoning , to no avail!! If this company is real, can you please contact me, as soon as possible. That money was my Mums, she's 81 and it was a gift for herself. If you are scammers, shame on you!!!

Bought a ring off them they stated “solid sterling silver” this ring was not solid sterling silver but only coated in it as it started peeling off in just over a week. Bought it off their Etsy site and having to fight for a refund when they expect me to pay for a return, explained how they can pay for it and they still refused. Glad Etsy are making them pay for it if they want it back.
