Really pleased with customer service
I placed an order and then had an issue and when I phoned I got through straightaway and the guy I spoke to was so helpful. He even said he would check something and then phone me back. He checked on the issue and then phoned me back promptly, I couldn't believe it. Most companies won't even pick up the phone, leaving you to go round in circles with an AI online chat.
I even received a follow up email after my phone call, I was so pleased to get the issue resolved so quickly and easily.
I just wish they didn't use Evri for delivery so if you do place an order for delivery, request they use Royal Mail instead, or pick up in store if you can.
A pair of £22 Earring fall apart
Loved the shop until, I bought a pair of earrings for £22 from the Portsmouth outlet on a trip to Portsmouth. The earrings fall apart immediately after a first few use. They felt a bit wobbly but thought maybe that was intentional. I emailed them but unfortunately if you buy from outlet you need to go the same place to get a refund / return. Of course, I canât go to Portsmouth again for a pair of earrings, was expecting some gesture of kindness / goodwill as the product was defective. Not something expected from an over priced brand that sells worse product then Temu.
Good. Items really nice
Good.. Really Like the Mirror! Its beautiful & creates a cosy effect with its iridescent glass frame. Its also lightweight. They should make the holders jut out though more as having them so flat to the back causes scratches trying to get it hooked. Item was packed well to the point of a bit too well, it was sealed with wooden planks with lots of tiny nails which cause injury & products are at risk of getting damaged if made too difficult to unpackage. Delivery was fast. Checkout was simple. Item was on the pricey side for such a small lightweight mirror but its perfect fit for my landing & its iridescent colours really have added warmth to a really dark and dreary spot in the home that gets no light. The cut of the glass frame causes it to reflect in alot of different angles. But again please make the holes to hang out out slightly

Excellent customer service
Called into the London Victoria station branch and received excellent customer service. The dress I wanted wasnât available in my size. A lovely member of staff called Faith called various branches to source the dress for me. Once she had located it she asked them to hold it for me. When I arrived at the other store it was ready and waiting for me. A big thank you to Faith who I think went above and beyond. I am one happy customer!
Ordered a lamp it was faulty
Ordered a lamp it was faulty, not great customer service, kept saying would be collected and took three attempts, meaning having to work from home for no reason. Customer service woman also said âthey had had no other problems withâ strange comment particularly as itâs a brand new item on the website. Anyway the next lamp was eventually sent and was completely bent and unusable. I will apparently receive a refund once they have it back (I have sent it back and they have the tracking) but as Iâve already explained and sent pictures itâs completely bent and Iâm not really sure what the issue is as I just want a refund now after this complete disaster

Amazing staff at the Reading branch
Went into the Reading branch today and the staff were so welcoming and friendly also extremely helpful with my purchase of a large weekend bag which made for an enjoyable experience plus all the products are amazing
Thought I would give OB another try asâŠ
Thought I would give OB another try as customer service must have improved. However, after having ordered and paid for next day delivery on 13/10, my order did not arrive next day and online chat was very dismissive with no acknowledgement of how poor this is. Evri tracking says it is standard service, not next day delivery so they have not processed it yet. Also, OB have cancelled part of the order but not bothered to let me know. Why accept payment if items are not in stock?
Finally arrived today 16/10- 3 days later than promised. Courier says no next day service was asked for.
Seems to be a common occurrence with OB.

Obstructed from purchasing a gift
I wanted to buy a housewarming gift for my nephew. Unfortunately I could not proceed as there was no way to close the annoying âsubscribe nowâ window. I do not subscribe to the mailing list of every store I visit or buy from, especially when itâs a one off.
I bought my gift from John Lewis instead, with no difficulty.

Got a lovely purse from Oliver Bonas for my birthday in March, it has absolutely come away into pieces. Not really good enough considering the money they cost, even a cheaper purse would have lasted me longer than 6 months. Disappointing! Will not be buying from this store again.

Absolutely appalling customer service
Absolutely appalling customer service. I will never buy from them again having been a very good customer for years. They put the entire risk of delivery on customers and refuse to pay a refund until the items have been returned to them, despite me never receiving any of the items, which they acknowledge. I am significantly out of pocket for a considerable amount of time and the quality of the responses received have been shocking.

My daughter ordered some studs as a gift for me but they were very badly bent. Oliver Bonas were great, organised a replacement very quickly and collected the old (to recycle). Very impressed, many thanks!
Horrible customer service
My parcel was delivered to wrong house. I have to sign and return a denial of receipt form, which i can't do on my phone. I have no printer and they won't accept screen shots. So unhelpful. I have photos of it being the wrong door, still not enough. Won't ever use them again.

Ordered a bedspread which came with a hole in it and smelled musty. Very disappointing as first time I ordered from this business and it will be the last. I was offered a £10 gift card and no explanation
BEWARE ⊠once theyâve taken your money, thereâs not much support
After a week I still have not received the item that I ordered. I called Oliver Bonas customer service and spoke to the representative who was very good at giving lip service and very bad at solving this issue.
This person first tried to tell me that Parcelforce tried to deliver my item, but nobody was in. I disputed this, as I was indoors waiting on it all day. After I disputed this, the representative then decided that EVRI was the courier and then readily agreed with my complaint and was full of apologies, assuring me that they would look into the matter and call me back with answers. They then informed me that the parcel would arrive today (as Oliver bonus had failed to send me any tracking details, I couldnât track the parcel myself) they even sent me a tracking number that isnât recognised on the EVRI tracking app .. so I waited again for the promised item, but it failed to appear and so did the promised return phone call from customer service. Iâm just wondering what makes Oliver Bonas think that my time is not important ⊠that they can advise customers to sit indoors and wait for parcels that they probably know arenât going to arrive anyway. No doubt after this someone will contact me saying that âcustomer satisfaction is of the upmost importanceâ and that âthey strive to get everything right and âplease get in contact using the link below and we will endeavour to resolve the issueâ blah blah blah âŠ. Iâve already been in touch with customer service and they failed to resolve the issue. I just feel as if Iâve been fobbed off. Iâve paid for an item that I havenât received and only goodness knows where it is.
Dreadful experience âŠWill never purchase from this company again.
