We also had a hotel booked and confirmation sent so we called hotel to double check and they confirmed no such booking ever existed.
Absolute disgrace that Wowcher are still doing business with this company. A check on company's house can give additional details for anyone still needing their money back. Took us a while but Wowcher gave a refund.

Complete scam â avoid!
I have just reported OMGhotels to the BBC's Watchdog after having been unable to contact anyone at OMGhotels for the last three days. The only way to contact them is through the email shown on their website, but it must be offline because all I'm getting are delivery failure notifications.
My experience is similar to others: our event was "cancelled" the morning of the event, and had a choice to either keep the hotel booking in London or reschedule entirely with some added "goodwill benefits" to make up for the cancellation. After opting to reschedule at a later date, I've since attempted to reschedule without success. There's nobody to speak to.
The event was a gift from my family, now I have to tell them they've been scammed. Absolute disgrace.

Just don't use this company , had confirmation email regarding hotel and told tickets would be sent 48 hrs prior , since this was boxing day sent multiple emails about this no reply and guess what no hotel booked no tickets for shard, I thi know I'm going to contact trading standards now as this can't be allowed to go on

A Completely Misleading, LastâMinuteâCancelling Mess of a Company
I booked a London theatre and hotel package through a partner site (in my case, Wowcher), and the experience with OMGhotels has been nothing short of awful. They advertise these packages as fully arranged trips, but in reality they send you a hotel âconfirmationâ only to cancel it days before your stay.
Thatâs exactly what happened to me. I called the hotel directly to doubleâcheck the booking, only to be told it had been cancelled by the agent â OMGhotels â without any notification. On top of that, the theatre tickets they promise âup to 48 hours before the showâ never materialised at all.
They even sent me a link offering a £30 seat upgrade, which I paid for, but still no tickets were ever provided. After that, communication from them completely dried up.
Out of curiosity, I checked their company details on Companies House and could see that their accounts are overdue, which says a lot about how theyâre operating.
This whole setup feels deeply unreliable and leaves customers stranded at the last minute. Iâm now having to pursue a chargeback just to get my money back for a package that was never delivered.
Avoid OMGhotels â the stress, silence, and lastâminute cancellations are simply not worth it.
Consumer Rights
Under UK consumer law, when you purchase a package that includes services (like hotel stays and theatre tickets), the company selling the package is responsible for ensuring those services are delivered as advertised. If they fail to provide the service, cancel it without notice, or simply never supply the tickets, that is considered nonâdelivery.
You are legally entitled to a full refund when a service you paid for is not provided.
A company cannot take payment, fail to supply the service, and then ignore you.
Sending a âconfirmationâ and then cancelling the booking without telling the customer does not count as fulfilling the contract.
Promising theatre tickets âup to 48 hours beforeâ and then never sending them is a clear breach of contract.
If the retailer or provider refuses to resolve the issue, you are fully within your rights to pursue a chargeback through your bank or credit card company.
Chargeback exists specifically for situations like this â where a service is paid for but never delivered.
Iâm now using the chargeback process to recover my money, because the package I paid for was never supplied and the company has failed to communicate or resolve the issue.

We were given a voucher as a wedding present from the gift experience for a west end show and dinner . On activation we were directed to OMG hotels to book this and asked for 3 dates . We were informed via e mail from the booking manager confirming the booking on September 3rd and advised tickets would arrive 72 hrs prior to the date we booked Feb 16th 26. However, this did not occur and we had already booked a hotel & rail travel. On the morning of the 16th we attempted to call OMG having sent numerous e mails. The call went straight to answer phone! We then spoke to the gift company who informed us they no longer dealt with OMG! What should have been a special occasion turned into a stressful day not to mention the disappointment and money wasted on accommodation and travel. OMG should be held to account for their actions and have no morals in the way they treat customers. We have also taken up this matter with the gift experience. Please donât use OMG to avoid being treated in a similar way.

Well what can I say about OMG hotels. Let me start at the beginning, I brought my voucher through the activity superstore and whn we tried to activate it it said we had to contact omg hotels to book which I did. At first all went smoothly and that confirmed my booking in a couple of days. As it became close to the time we should have been getting tickets and so on and hotel confirmation I hadn't heard anything so sent another email without any reply apart from the automated response. Eventually they got back to me and said that the hotel had canceled my booking and that they could send me elsewhere that was a total lie as I had booked parking directly with he hotel the day before. So knowing they were lying I called them out and they said it was an administration error and that if we canceled they would upgrade me to a meal and a better hotel and beter seats at the show to wich I agreed. And that's where it ended, iv tried to rebook and contacted them on numerous occasions without so much as a reply not even the automated one. Avoid this company at all cost as they just scam people and don't give the service that is expected. I have now contacted the activity superstore and asked for a full refund.

âVIPâ theatre trip with hotel stay booked. Company emailed to say my seats were in the last row at the back of the theatre (I could pay extra for seat upgrades if I wished). No other traditional VIP extras included (ie transport / a meal / drinks etc).
I emailed asking what the VIP payment included as I felt the trip had been misadvertised and missold. Other than an automatic acknowledgment of my email there has been no contact in almost 6 weeks. I am contacting Trading Standards to take things further.

Get your money back before its too late! Was bought a 4* hotel and theatre trip by the in-laws. On 31/10/25 got confirmation email for a trip Moulin Rouge and stay at Novotel London Excel on 07 February. Told vouchers/tickets would be sent 48 hours before. Nothing received 24 hours before so tried to contact them: e-chat link no longer works, 3 phone numbers found online just go dead or can't leave a message, email has 5 day response time and no response to social media messages (FB or instagram). Called hotel and they had no reservations for us. Had to pay for cancelled baby sitter and dog sitter so out of pocket. Thankfully we had not pre-booked train tickets. Absolutely appalling.

I hadn't received my vouchers 48 hours before booking. Had email at 23.00 hours night before stating they couldn't access them wrong date booked. My daughter googled searched to find a Tel number on Google for hotel(not one on the website) we had been allocated incase our upgrade night was available. They had no record of a booking or cancellation. Offered a rebooking with extras. I have had no reply to my emails since then. Even Activity Superstore can't get a reply for them . I am trying to get a refund on my upgrade i paid for separately. There are no telephone numbers that work . Should have been a 70th birthday treat , from my sons All I have had is stress and anxiety from this .

I had a lot of stress gaining confirmation from booking via living social but finally received from OMG. They then offered up grades for the hotel & the theatre paying a total of now £330. It is now less than 48 hours before the overnight stay I called the hotel, they had my name on the correct day but said it had been cancelled! I have now emailed them and am expecting a reply and for them to rebook the hotel for tomorrow night and send out vouchers. OMG please sort as this was a present . The worst company I have had the displeasure of wasting my time with . DO NOT use this company or purchase from anywhere who sells this companies experiences. I brought a 4* London stay and theatre tickets as a gift from Wowcher for 2 people . I tried to redeem my vouchers by using the form on the website , itâs been 2 weeks and I have still had no response from my forms or emails to them. Wowcher are just as bad and Iâm unsure how they can sell products from this rogue company. Good afternoon
I purchased a London theatre and hotel break for my daughterâs 16th birthday on the 22/11/2025 and contacted Wowcher numerous times to get confirmation of both the hotel and theatre booking.
I had zero response regarding theatre tickets but on the day before we were due to leave for London I was emailed stating that there wasnât availability at the selected hotel.
I also contacted the theatre and they had no tickets for us.
We therefore did not travel to London as hotels and tickets were too expensive at short notice.
The consequence of Wowcherâs bad performance is that I was not due a refund on the train tickets £68 and my autistic daughter was devastated as this was something that she had looked forward to for weeks.
I therefore would like a full refund of £322 which includes the £69 I paid to upgrade the hotel - I will still be out of pocket regarding theatre tickets money paid for the train so I think this would be a totally fair resolution to what has been a nightmare experience with Wowcher.
