On Buy 

Can’t believe I didn’t look at the reviews before making an order, it was a last minute impulse buy which I now regret. Went for a company to get before Xmas, no confirmation sent, no product for my husbands Xmas present and I can’t get hold of anyone and Klarna have taken their first payment , awful company !

OnBuy are completely dishonest. I paid for four boxes of Fybogel for £85.72, which was a reasonable price I thought, and received only 2 boxes. Their reply was that they had made a mistake on the website, and offered £5 in compensation, or I could return the 2 boxes sent. What is worse, this was on Amazon. When I approached Amazon they said it was nothing to do with them... More crooks, I think.

Purchased 2 watches from seller on On Buy. Order should have been delivered by 18/19th December 2023, but only arrived yesterday. Opened delivery and found only 1 watch. Have contacted seller, no reply as yet.
Absolute joke of a company. Will be escalating and demanding a refund.

Same as everyone else, Trading Standards should investigate, image on website was a branded item, what I received was a cheap unbranded replica with little chance of a refund. AVOID!

Was unable to return item tried to get help unable keep saying no order basket empty. I am now left with item from seller. Condition off package was not look new.

Purchased Jo malone perfume via On Buy. Advised delivery would be between 5th & 7th Dec. Still waiting 21st Dec. Seller had went radio silent. I asked On Buy to support me on obtaining a refund. They asked me to wait 48hrs. Still no contact or product and now On Buy ignoring me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Don't just take my word for it, check out the rest of their reviews!!!!

Scam. Fake goods. Goods manufactured in China with identical packaging, hence item is much cheaper. With no chance of refund. Quality of products sub standard. Don’t buy from onbuy!

Please avoid this website! The sellers there do not provide the tracking number, and they also do not provide a refund when the order never arrives. After waiting for my order for 4 weeks and not getting anywhere with the seller, I managed to get my money back only after opening a dispute with the company through PayPal.

Bought Versace eau de cologne 3 weeks ago, and although the invoice stated this, the item I actually received was Versace deodorant spray (much cheaper!). Therefore fraudulent advertising. They agreed a refund once the item was shipped back and provided a Royal Mail tracked item label, however the item is now lost in the post and so they won't refund until received. Hopefully I will get the refund from Royal Mail (claim still in progress), but the whole process is decidedly dodgy and looks and smells like a scam! Avoid at all costs.

Item never received was advised it would get resent. They have ignored my emails, struggling getting my money refunded.

This is an update to the review I left on 10/12. I finally have my refund! Having heard nothing from the seller and unable to contact OnBuy via the message route they tell you to use, I resorted to sending a message using the 'the report fake goods' option. I explained that I could not contact them in any other way and got an acknowledgement. They intervened with the seller and I have now been refunded. A lot of hassle but worth the effort to get my money back and, dare I hope, raise standards in future by pursuing bad selling issues.

Update - I have transferred this review to onBuy.com which is the correct site.

AVOID - They claim that all sellers have been checked and consumers can shop in confidence. This is absolute rubbish!

The seller that I used has refused to provide tracking information, repeatedly asked me to wait longer and, finally, has gone back on their word where that they’d send another item if it hadn’t arrived by morning of 18th and instead asked me to wait even longer!

Shame on you, Onbuy!

Terrible company. Item never delivered. Correspondence was awful, just computerised responses. Never received the order. Still waiting for refund 😉 Don’t use them!!

Order not received. Promised delivery by a date which was close to when I needed the item. No dispatch information, no contact with retailer, Onbuy just replied saying retailer would be in touch. Nothing from either. More importantly, no refund as yet. AVOID.

Do not deal with these guys!!!!

They advertise excellent prices, order placed and paid for but never materialized, happened more than once too!

Unfortunately I didn’t do enough research before buying pokemon which I don’t know much about, I thought I was getting a really good deal but I was actually being made a fool of. 🥺 I was sent fake cards and not even the cards I picked. The ones I was sent are £10 less than what I paid for, but that doesn’t matter when the cards are fake anyway!
Don’t be fooled by prices and shop else where. Do your research and “if it seems to good to be true then it probably is”

Useless - haven’t received my product - went through the on buy contact the customer process and received a nonsense placatory message which told me nothing - cant contact onbuy and PayPal says I can complain after May 2024 - absolute joke service
