Placed order, took money only to be told cant fulfill order this close to Xmas... hope I get the refund!!!

Horrible gets hope karma gives them a taste of their own medicine, but it won't!!

Had a issue Royal Mail said item was delivered, despite everybody’s bad review, i cant praise the company enough , what you need to understand you are going through a 3rd party so if there is a problem it takes a little longer, buy you spend less than anywhere else on the market you take the good with the bad,, onbuy has now resent my item and has kept me updated every step of the way , dont be put off by a couple of people being picky ans writing bad reviews, go for it and get your bargain , from my experience you WILL RECEIVE item/items and they will help you quickly if something go’s wrong , smile 😊

Excellent value and prompt delivery.
I was sceptical having read negative reviews but paid by PayPal as I knew I could get my money back. However my doubts were unfounded as I had regular updates and delivery sooner than I expected.

Really needed the product only to be told a few days later they couldn't fulfil my order even though it says in stock... Now got to wait a further 3-5 days for a refund if I'm lucky!

Paid for a non existant product.
They took my money and then message me two days later to let me know that the product is not available. No refund offered. Just some pathetic offer to buy a substitute product. No thanks. I want my money back!
Full of scammers, AVOID!

Placed an expensive order three weeks ago item has not arrived they don’t reply to my messages I assume it’s a scam to take peoples money no hope of getting my money back no way of contacting them it’s a despicable service would never ever buy from them again

Same as everyone else and I wish I ad read the reviews first. No packet delivered and when I chased was told by seller it was delivered but they could not send me any proof other than a dodgy screen shot of their order page showing delivered. Had to go through the on buy process of contacting Seller then them. Useless beyond belief. Yesterday they told me to contact the Seller myself! I will be contacting Trading Standards.

I Have ordered from this site and my goods was perfect the only problem was having to wait for my delivery ..be prepared to wait :)

Item received from seller is second hand and parts are missing. OnBuy suggest to contact seller direct and they reply asking for photo of item, then promise resend with tracking No. which does not work, The suggest delivery company is very busy which is not true. Carry on delay either by partly refund and resend with another tracking No. (again delivery company said they never receive the item. Contact OnBuy with a reply they will take action. However the funny thing is you will never be able to contact them again because of changes. Email inbox no longer monitor by the company. Go to message and click on contact OnBuy , their is a message saying you had alredy them and if want to contact further , use the last email from Onbuy which is no longer monitor. At the end of the day you are going round and round in circle. These chinese comany are bad news and I will never use them again. By the way I was told the seller is in UK but they are actually in China.

If I could give no stars I would, I don't know how Trustpilot are letting these robbing barstewards away with saying they have a 4.3 rating on Trustpilot, you need to do something about this company as they are robbing people out of money under false pretences, basically your good name

OnBuy is a scam. Read my dispute on my email to them below...

Hi OnBuy,

Although I have sent numerous messages to ask OnBuy to help me to get refund for my purchases associated with orders T52VFTQ and T52SGG8, but you have failed to respond since your last email from Yhainesson on 07/10/2023.

I'm not sure whether these messages I send to you via your online form reach you. Firstly, your instructions on how to contact OnBuy are misleading. According to the instructions on your website they read, “All you have to is log into 'My Account', select the message with the seller and click 'Contact OnBuy'. However, this option is not available other than a message with heading which reads, "Write a reply to "OnBuy" & "Alivn". Even when I use this message option to reply to OnBuy, the sent message status shows the message was only sent to one recipient which in this case is the seller, "Alivn".

Therefore, because you are misleading customers by giving incorrect information on how to contact you and your lack of response, I have concluded that OnBuy deliberately tries to make it hard for customers to claim for their refunds.

Secondly, I have concluded that the seller of the all items which are advertised on OnBuy website is OnBuy itself instead of third party retailers. If these products are sold by other retailers, why OnBuy is so reluctant of helping a customer claim for a refund? The answer is OnBuy is not interested to help customer claim for a refund because is concerned that it will lose its sales revenue. In other words, OnBuy is scamming customers thinking they are buying from other retailers without realising that the seller is OnBuy itself.

I intend to publicise this message to as many media platforms as possible to raise awareness of OnBuy scam as well as make a formal complaint to the Trading Standards.

Purchased a product from this company on the 06/11 they promised delivery by the 14/11 to the 18/11 it is now the 29/11 still no delivery, I have sent several emails to both onbuy and the sellers, still no product, nor my money returned, rouge company

Like many on your review site I ordered £90 of perfume for my wife for Christmas 4 weeks ago and have still not received it. I emailed Onbuy twice but I have not received a replay. Clearly they are scammers and this company must be avoided at all costs!!

Bought a Shimano HG701 bike chain as a spare, came to use it 6 months later, it lasted about 2 months and on close inspection it's clearly a counterfeit. I would never use this site again.

My experience of on buy is the same as all the others,bought a ps5 off one of the rouge sellers on there after many weeks received a dirty second hand one sent it back then nothing no response to emails nothing nearly £600 down the drain.Avoid at all costs how they can keep getting away with it

I’d give no stars if I had to! I ordered Layla baklava instead I received Dina baklava? These lot are scams ! Avoid if you can! They have products up thinking they’ll have it but instead they send you a btec version of it.. so avoid at all cost!

Bought an item in October been charged and it still hasn’t been delivered. Checked the my order section and it is now saying no order has been placed. Terrible site, do not use.

Order perfume for my daughter‘s birthday, never received it never replied to my emails so now I’ve got to try and get my money back through my bank I’ll be reporting to trading standards as they take your money and don’t reply and don’t send nothing will be reporting to trading standards ASAP beware !!!

I'd put zero if I could these rogues have taken my money, my purchase hasnt arrived, they answer no emails or contact.
Avoid at all costs I'm going to consumer protection, hopefully my bank will.recall payment.

Received goods from onbuy which were fakes. Complained and they promised to refund all costs.
I returned the goods and after many messages received a refund for the goods. I was also promised several times a refund for return postage costs. After two months and many promises of payment I wrote the payment off. I will never use onbuy again.
