first 2 merchants wouldn't take card.. I called customer care for happy cards they said it had full balance and was merchants fault.. The third store I tried said it only works if you use exactly half the balance. So I got something out of the third merchant and still have half a balance left.. What a nightmare of an experience.. Shoppers and places can't sell these cards and merchants can't take part..

Customer service hung up on me
I recieved a gift card around two years ago as a birthday present from a friend. I remembered I had it and when I went to peel the tape off the back to read the pin, half the numbers came off. I know the pin is needed to do anything on these cards, but I wanted to at least contact customer service and ask if there was anything I could do. When I called, the first thing I noticed was that nothing they asked was relevant to my problem and there was no "if none of these apply to you press this button". Secondly, I picked the closest thing to what the situation was (card wasn't working but proof of receipt) and I explained to the lady what was going on and she hung up on me. I am severely disappointed by my first experience with the customer service and I hope this never happens to anyone else.

Incredibly inconvenient to use and…
Incredibly inconvenient to use and partners not as advertised. I spent multiple hours to get them to work for something of use. I paid my dad for them as he couldn't use them for Kayo even though it was advised.
It was a gift so next time I'll be giving cash... never again!!!

Great gift idea - order/payment process needs work!
I think this is a brilliant way to send a money gift which folk can use on the High Street.
The process to purchase was a little tortuous. Why is 'Company' a required field for sender & recipient??!! No address finder. No option to use Google Pay. Need to generally improve the purchase payment process.

Told us our order had failed
Told us our order had failed, and to place another. We did, and both arrived leaving us £600 down. Customer support to get it sorted was TERRIBLE.
Avoid at all costs.

Cards don't work, no customer service
Cards don't work anywhere and no customer service. Swipe it and the machines don't recognise them. Also some online retailers don't accept multiple gift cards so you can use multi at once. This gift has cost me over an hour in time, and frustrated me to no end

An excellent alternative to Amazon. However, could do with learning some lessons (from Amazon). First, update your website close to Christmas if/when vouchers will not arrive in time. And how about being able to print out individual vouchers - we had to order 90 individual (plastic) cards as was not able to supply individual email addresses for each recipient.

I had a great experience with One4all
I had a great experience with One4all. I was a bit late buying Christmas presents for staff at work, and this turned out to be the quickest and easiest solution. The service has improved a lot since the last time I used it in 2023.
Previously, the only option was a physical card, which wasn’t ideal one card was even lost, and there was a £5 charge for a replacement. Now, the option of a digital card is a huge improvement. You can add it straight to your wallet and use it digitally in-store by scanning, without worrying about carrying or losing a physical card. It feels like having cash, but in a much more convenient digital format.
The card can be used in many shops, which is a big plus. The process was smooth, and the cards were issued instantly. You can also customise the look of the card, which is a nice touch. Entering an email and phone number for each recipient is a bit admin heavy, but overall it was very straightforward.
It genuinely saved the day for last-minute Christmas gifts, and I’d happily use One4all again

Hi Catherine, our apologies for the inconvenience caused. If you are using the gift card in a store you can use it as part payment by informing the cashier of the balance on the card and by paying the remaining balance via alternative means. Most retailers can accept up to three forms of payment, but it does depend on each individual retailer if part payment is accepted.
This cannot be processed online. When spending online the balance of the gift card must cover the full transaction cost.
Ordering & delivery really easy
Ordering & delivery really easy. I was a little disappointed that the gift card was just stuck to a piece of paper rather than a card as they are Xmas presents for staff.
