I used this service for a document that I needed to send to a foreign country. The customer service agent connected me with a notary in Minnesota, which is a state that doesn't recognize e-signatures for apostilled documents.

This was never disclosed to me. I contacted the company, requested they provide me with a document from a state that does apostille documents, and their only response was to request that I pay for ANOTHER session.

It would be one thing if this was a title company or a private company that isn't accepting their e-signatures, but the SECRETARY OF STATE's office in the state they are doing e-signatures isn't accepting their signatures. It makes you wonder why they work with notaries in states that don't accept these signatures. At the very minimum they should be notifying their customers of this.

When you go for a service like this, you expect them to be knowledgeable. If there are issues like this, customers should be warned so we could determine if it makes sense to go forward with the service or not.

I get that everyone makes mistakes, but I gave this company an opportunity to fix their error and their only response was to blame me for not knowing that in Minnesota the e-signatures they are selling are not valid for apostilles.

I would recommend trying to find a different company before doing an online notary session, as this company makes no effort to ensure the product they are selling will actually be of use to the customer.

They ended my notary service and wasted my time because their AI facial recognition couldn't match my face to my drivers license.

After 3 attempts, I contacted the chat and let them know that I thought the automated AI system was bull****, they cut me off and told me to go use another notary service if I was going to use such foul language.

The notary was late and the process was cumbersome - it took 30 min while when we did this in the past it was quick and easy. The chat is not able to fulfill all tasks as a human would do, it would be great to connect to a human right away to prevent delays. This could have been done in 10 min if the human was on right away. The Human Agents that assisted me were phenomenal: patient, responsive, resourceful. George Poletes was invaluable in providing excellent human assistance to complete the payment that couldn't be done online by clicking on the link. My recommendation is that you get the automated process reviewed: there's no comparison between the excellence and resourcefulness of every human I interacted with and the subpar quality of every automated step!
