Highly recommended!
After months and months of doing virtual vino sessions, I found THE perfect option for me, The Online Wine Tasting Club. Iâve now done quite a few sessions with them - I've subscribed to their more advanced Adventurer series but have also done a few one offs from the other series and even a special that they organized with South West Australia. And I remain impressed. Why?Â
It all starts with a well formed box with 6 generous wine samples in pouches, and small, cute details in the packaging.
Always a great selection of high quality wines - allowing you to really taste the region.
Then the live session itself - itâs as interactive as they get, with crowd sourced tasting notes and polls, and loads of humour. Itâs well produced, including interviews with winemakers recorded on location and lovely shots of vineyards. All combined with a slow descent towards merriness as more and more wine is consumed.

A great effort
Thank you Alex and Jamie. The wines and videos are very good. However, the cartons which were great for me on my own during lockdown (plus of course Jamie and Alexâs company) proved unwieldy for my subsequent groups of eight. In order to keep the weight and postage costs down for larger groups a wine carton with a tap might be the answer. In the meantime, unfortunately, we might have to buy our wine in bottles at the local supermarkets where there are some good but cheaper offers.

For purposes of larger groups, we have the option for customers to purchase the bottles as a tasting case set which would be plenty for an 8 person tasting, more affordable and you won't have to try 'similar', less quality wines from a supermarket. Great wine but live online was a shambles. Way too much irrelevant chatter, almost impossible to learn about the wine.
