We booked a Package holiday with On The Beach at a good price and received all the booking paperwork .
2 days later we got a email saying it was cancelled due to a technical error with their suppliers but the exact same holiday with same dates is still advertised on their website but at a much higher price. To make matters worse you can not telephone or web chat with any humans at all. You just go round and round the system and never get anything sorted out.
On The Beach are the worst travel agents around.

PLEASE BE AWARE.
Awful company that cancelled our holiday for no fault of our own but still advertised the exact same holiday but much more expensive. Also left us with a large cost with the airline for seats and baggage they would not refund.
A major problem with On the Beach is that it is impossible to speak or email a human. Your only option is AI robot that takes you round and round forever without sorting anything out.
If you do book with this company and have a issue you have no chance.
£38 is nowhere near what we have paid out. Let me have your email address please or telephone number. Haha no chance of that.

I got an email from on the beach to say there is a minor change to my flights times so why has my airport been changed aswell from leeds bradford to Manchester so do they put a coach on to get us all to Manchester our flight coming back home is leeds bradford I dont get it there's a flight same date at leeds bradford airport at 6.30am y cant they put us on that one can get in touch with them that bot is useless u ring up the phone line goes dead so what do we do on the beach

I DONT recommend anyone to use this site. SCAM. This is the worse company which I ever used… I booked holiday for Fuerteventura 11-16 June 2026. By some reason I decided to change my hotel. First time when I paid (for first hotel and flight) I paid full amount. Now when I start looking for another hotel and chose one of them, it showed me overpayment of 270€ including hotel price and admission fee. I did payment straight away and they sent me confirmation number. I did it at 01:30 am 28th of May. 28th of May 22:26 they tried to withdraw 500 euros from my account, but I had no money. I was shocked, I went on the website and there showing me 142.87€ debt(once again I paid full amount)I think ok maybe it’s some mistake, I went to try to chat with supporting team, they are closed. I text them next day 2pm, tried contact with a person, they text that I’m in waiting list, 1 hour later nobody answer me. At 3.30pm I got email that if I’ll not pay 142€ today, my booking will be cancelled. I tried to refresh chat and start a new one, but they finish work exactly when they send email. CIRCUS. After that 21:25 they tried withdraw ALREADY 517€. This is crazy. I paid 143€ but it’s not normal. I got email that they can’t do anything with it because increase in cost for the hote. This is not normal if I could know that it has different price, I couldn’t proceed with it. Absolutely SCAM site…I do not recommend anyone to use this site…..

Been trying to get in in touch with OTB for the last couple of months as my holiday is on the 15th of June to Dubai through Emirates and nobody has heard anything in regards to if it’s going ahead, which can’t be possible as it’s going against the FCDO. Under the Package Travel Regulations I am entitled a refund and a cancellation as it goes against the UK government! But you as a company are avoiding this and can be done for this. I think it’s unfair you have not let us know it’s very short notice to not hear anything. My insurance is void so I would prefer if the holiday was cancelled and I was issued a full refund, when will people and myself know what’s going on?
Most company’s have cancelled and refunded way in advance. I.e love holidays & emirates package holidays. You are the only company that is letting people down and not giving any information and playing it safe. Also your chat box on the app is horrendous you can’t speak to anyone but sunny and finally when you do get to speak to someone they are withholding information it’s fustrating!
This is causing me a lot of anxiety please let us know
People need to make arrangements before we go on holiday so I would hope to hear back with some information on what’s happening.

They changed the airport I leave from and coming back to my original airport. My car will be parked at my original airport. Try live Chat it just keep going over and over. tied ringing and it just takes you to live chat

Most of staff bar was rudely.My kids was food poisoning.I lost my property from my room and I was ignored on reception.Snacks bar on the pool always empty for drink you can take drink upstairs in the pub .Was one girl on reception on my check out day .Went I ask for taxi to go airport she’s said I have my break you have to wait.So rude!!!!I need taxi for 20:00 but because her break and non another staff I was almost late to my flying.NO ACCEPTABLE

Everything about booking the Holiday is so straight forward. All done in a matter of minutes.
However, I ran into a problem verifying the flights. I could not get thru to Customer Support. A phone number would be brilliant because not everyone is tech savvy !!

Booked a holiday today, the dates changed as I booked even though I had selected the right ones, apparently if you have flexible dates ticked it can change it, I thought it couldn’t once you had chosen. I need to change the dates, I want the exact same holiday just 3 days earlier. Cannot speak to anyone? And sunny the bot cannot help as he doesn’t have my query and there is no one to talk too. I’ve been trying since the moment I booked it (within hours of agents too) and it’s been less then 24 hours since booking, how can no one be available to help?

Sun express cancelled my flights to Turkey.
I had to go days not knowing if I was getting a refund and could only talk to the AI chat which was useless.
After complaining on here the refund has been processed.
On the beach have kept £164.00 of the payment I made for the flights.
I have no way of talking to anyone and the chat bot is no help.
Do not put yourself through the hassle and money loss with on the beach if something goes wrong with your holiday.
TRUST PILOT ASKED ME TO PROVIDE MORE DETAILS SO YOU COULD LOOK INTO MY REVIEW IN MORE DETAIL.
ALL DETAILS REQUESTED HAVE BEEN PROVIDED. BOOKING REFERENCE AND DATE OF HOLIDAY ETC.

So this is me replying to my last post as I wrote about a holiday to Eygpt ive booked but youve said its Spain!
Ive booked to go away 11/02/27 to Hugahda. The hotel have no confirmation we are coming. So we cant upgrade our room. OTB only offered "standard rooms" which stated it accommodated 7 people. After speaking to the hotel directly they've said we wont fit in the two standard rooms ive booked. So how are we ment to get a bigger room with no confirmation? OTB you cant send information to a hotel a week before we are due to go! What happens if the hotel is fully booked? We risk getting sent somewhere else that might not be suitable for the 7 people going. I would love to cancel sonething that I'm not even sure is going to be going ahead but im tied into a payment plan. Cancellation fees are £2,300!
You also keep replying saying to contact you! There now way of speaking to someone. The AI Robot is useless. I suggest someone contact me as ive already raised a fraud investigation with my bank.

When will the hotel know we are coming? The two rooms that where offered wont fit us all it ( the hotel have confirmed this) but i cant upgrade with them as they have no confirmation we are coming. I dont want to upgrade with OTB as its double the price the hotel are asking for.
Id like a response regarding the rooms which were offered on booking? It said 2 rooms for 7 people. It was a good job I messaged the hotel as they've said these rooms will not fit us all in! Which means we now have to pay for bigger rooms. The hotel directly said we can upgrade when they have confirmtaion we are coming! But if youre saying that wont be a week until we go, how are we guaranteed to get bigger rooms?

there is no communication with this company,live chat is a bot, anything goes wrong you leave a message and they say they will reply next week if your lucky. I gave up after 2 hours with the bot, you've been warned.
